À mi-chemin entre les catégories charme/confort et luxe, l'Hôtel Chez Swann fait preuve d'imagination pour la décoration de ses chambres. Coloré, design, voire un peu kitsch... Un goût particulier qui déroutera les adeptes des grands classiques de l'hôtellerie. La direction de l'hôtel insiste : on est plus proche de l'art que du design. L'idée de cet hôtel de taille modeste (une vingtaine de chambres) est de vous faire vivre une expérience au cœur de la culture montréalaise, plutôt que de simplement passer une nuit dans un hôtel.

The hotel location is really ideal downtown and closer to restaurants, café, shopping and touristic locations.
The rooms are clean and basic. we stayed first night in king bedroom which had 3 stairs to access washroom and was on the second floor so we heard the noise coming from restaurants downstairs.
We talked to the customer service, and they kindly changed our room in the second night and upgraded us to meet in the third floor, which was very nice, had no stairs and quiet .
Service was great and staff are friendly.
Complementary breakfast with a simple pastry, tea, and coffee machine . However, there is no kettle to boil water for the tea so you can’t make tea technically. However the breakfast room is nice and has good internet if you wanna do some work using your laptop.
Prices are affordable for the area. I recommend staying in the hotel mainly third floor suites.
