Stayed for a conference. Meeting rooms were as expected for a large hotel.

The guest room layout consists of several towers and levels - requiring the use of escalators and various elevators. Some of the attendees were in different towers.

The bar was great at night for connecting.

The second floor where we had our cocktail party was super hot …. Too warm for mixing up a hundred people.

The escalator was down for one day. Nice to have it fixed second day.

Beds were comfortable and I loved the duvet.

This hotel is in a great spot. Easy walk to Saint Catherine Street and shopping. Even easier walk into Old Montreal. Although you will need to take a cab to Crescent Street. The rooms are clean and modern. Exactly what you expect from a Westin. The staff are great too. Although it does lose a star for me because they did not read my standing request for an extra pillow and towel.

Stayed for 4 nights for a work trip. Duvet had disgusting stains. Called for a replacement. Two male staff members brought the replacement duvet but refused to change the bedding. I placed the dirty duvet on the floor and the next day, it was folded on the club chair. Room was not cleaned, even at 7 pm. I had to request to get the room cleaned. Staff at front desk, including management, were lacklustre in their attempt to rectify the situation. They didn’t care. I will never stay at a Westin after this experience.

Great spot. The room was nice and well kept. The amenities were good as well with a glass bottom lap pool, hot tub, ice bath and a decent gym. The hotel caters to the health conscious as they provide maps of local running routes and will line out basic equipment.

It is conveniently located offering easy access to downtown and the old port with the metro nearby. We could not have asked for more.

I must admit that they have a great location. Walking distance to old port and China town. I got upgrade to a corner room, but I noticed that the room’s general settings and equipment seemed quite old, which is understandable given Montreal’s historic nature.

What frustrated me was that despite requesting a late check-out until 4 pm twice (during check-in and confirming it with the front desk in the morning), my key got deactivated when my friend needed access to the room. I called the hotel for assistance, and they agreed to send someone to help open the door. However, due to miscommunication, I ended up having to rush back to the hotel to get the key reactivated. It was frustrating because I had already confirmed the late check-out twice, and it still got deactivated and I ended up redoing the same check in process at the front desk….

Another thing I didn’t like about the experience was the buffet breakfast. Not many choices for a $39/person breakfast. There was not even any leafy vegetables and espresso/latte options were not even included in the buffet. I can find waffles, oatmeal, yogurt in most motel continental breakfast and I can even freshly make my own warm waffles at motels so not really worth trying the breakfast here. I should’ve just stick with the 1000 Bonvoy points instead… it was such a waste. With $40/person, you could find much better brunch options in Montreal with this price.

IF ONLY I CAN RATE THIS 100 STARS. I went there on a trip and everything was AMAZING. The lobby is so big that cuts out the 2nd floor. And for comfort, they removed the 13th floor. The pool was just %50, there are all kinds of tempuratre like normal, cold, hot, and a sauna.

Localisation pratique. Cependant lors de mon séjour au Westin Montréal, j'ai été surpris et déçu par le manque de flexibilité et de service concernant un besoin pourtant basique : le prêt d'un chargeur iPhone. Malgré le prestige et le standing élevé de l'hôtel, qui laisse présager une attention particulière aux besoins des clients, ma demande pour un chargeur n'a pas été satisfaite, ni accompagnée d'une quelconque tentative de trouver une solution (comme par exemple s’approvisionner rapidement au dépanneur du coin). Cet incident, qui peut sembler mineur, souligne un manque d'effort notable pour répondre aux attentes élémentaires des clients. Pour un établissement de cette envergure, la capacité de fournir une expérience client de qualité manque, et il est incroyable de constater qu'un service aussi basique ne soit pas offert, ni même qu'un effort minimal soit fait pour résoudre le problème. Ce point noir a malheureusement entaché mon expérience globale, me laissant l'impression que l'attention aux détails et le souci du confort des clients ne sont pas à la hauteur. Je déconseille fortement cet établissement pour des voyages d’affaires. Strongly recommended against Westin Montreal for business trip or conventions.

Excellent hotel, amazing customer service at front desk. Lots of amenities nearby. I would not pay $250 per room here as holiday inn is much cheaper. I went as a driver for an organization, my room was paid for so I had no concerns for the budget.

The property is old and worn down. The beds have a sag and not the amazing Westin bed standard. The valet services were full but discriminatorily granted services to guests with less melatonin (fair skin). This is not only disgusting, but apparently common because no one was surprised. Traveling with a child, and confirming our arrival via email with guest services and concierge should have prepared us for the parking issues (if there truly were any). That did not happen. My advice, come in a mask dressed as the former queen and you will be treated like royalty. Better yet, don’t come to Montreal. There’s nothing that can’t be found in France or the real world.
