Hotel Bonaparte - Where Old World Charm Meets Modern Comforts

Nestled in the heart of Old Montreal, Hotel Bonaparte is a hidden gem that effortlessly blends old-world charm with modern comforts. From the moment you step foot onto St-François-Xavier Street, you're transported to a bygone era, surrounded by historic architecture and the enchanting atmosphere of this vibrant neighborhood.

Upon arrival, it's clear that Hotel Bonaparte is more than just a place to stay—it's an experience in itself. Very much will stay again. 10/10

This hotel was a happy accident for myself and friends traveling. We had an issue with an Airbnb and needed last minute accommodations. Margo was super helpful at getting us a room and making sure our check in went smoothly. The hotel is a boutique hotel and very historic in the middle of old Montreal. It was the perfect location. The rooms were decorated well and super clean. The morning breakfast basket was perfect and the bar downstairs was great for drinks. We wish we had more time to eat at the restaurant. The front desk staff were all super accommodating and helpful to what ever we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here! I wish I knew about this hotel sooner.

situé dans le vieux Montréal, l'hôtel est à côté de toutes les choses à voir, avec des chambres très sympa et un personnel au top et plein de petites attentions pour les clients en particulier le concierge Mr Luc Lavoie qui nous a permis de voir plein de choses en dehors des habituel visites touristiques vraiment merci encore.

I had a wonderful stay in Hotel Bonaparte. It is conveniently located in Old Montreal close to all amenities. The hotel is beautiful outside as well as inside. Great attention to detail in terms of service (champagne on arrival), beautifully decorated rooms with a sense of history, breakfast delivered in a basket in the morning. The queen room was spacious enough for myself (solo traveller). The bed was quite comfortable, the bathroom was renovated with all new appliances. It was also exceptionally clean. The receptionists were attentive and accommodating with the luggage drop off since I arrived early. Great stay overall.

Amazing boutique hotel! The location is excellent, but the service was incredible! We were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine upon check-in, and each morning a tasty basket of breakfast was waiting at the door. (I cannot overstate how delicious the breakfast was, with fresh breads and made-in-Quebec juice ????)

Excellent, excellent hotel in old Montreal! Such a convenient location on a quiet but central street, with nice staff and lovely rooms. The room was slightly small but so comfortable with a nice historic feel and modern amenities. And the breakfast was incredible! Delivered right to your door each morning with a basket full of pastries, cheese, juice - most of them locally made products. Probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had.

Everything about our stay here was fantastic. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about staying here. From the warm welcome on arrival to the comfortable, impeccably clean room and the 5 star restaurant, the whole staff ensured we had a great stay. The level of customer service from all of the staff was above and beyond anything I have experienced in any other hotel I have stayed at - 10 stars!!!
The icing on the cake was the great breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. I honestly can't say enough good things about our whole experience with the hotel Bonaparte and we will definitely be going back there ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including arranging our dinner reservations. The room was very nice and the bed was excellent. We took full advantage of the large walk in shower with rain and waterfall settings. The room delivered breakfast was delicious and included a good variety of items during our two night stay. We had a street-side room, so were mildly disrupted by some rowdy early morning revellers, which was no fault of the hotel. We would gladly stay again. ????

Perfectly located. Easy walking distance to all of the bars, restaurants museums and other attractions I was looking for. Hotel is beautifully appointed and morning breakfast basket was a classy touch. Coming back here one day.

I highly recommended this wonderful small hotel in the heart of Old Montreal.
It was our 3 days trip to Montreal with my husband on my birthday. And it was great from the moment we checked in until the moment we left, we were treated so well at the by all staff members. We so appreciate it!
Would definitely stay again next time we come to Montreal!

We had a 5th floor king-sized room at the front, which is what we asked for. What a wonderful ‘European’ view. During the summer the street noises might be a bit loud, but in mid-January it was perfect. Great location.

A nice mix of old fashioned charm with modern upgrades. Lovely bed, pillows and linens. We were greeted with glasses of Prosecco. All staff were bilingual and friendly.

We ate at the restaurant one night and it was really excellent. If you eat there, make it an event. Go for cocktails, appetizers, wine, main course and dessert. Such a wonderful experience. We had a window table and it was snowing. Service was impeccable. We had actually eaten at the restaurant on a previous visit and said we wanted to stay at the hotel on our next one.

A special shout-out to Maxim the bartender. If he’s reading this I hope he’ll remember the lady with the Vesper martinis. Such a nice guy willing to share the secrets behind his cocktail concoctions and fruit carving skills.

We travelled to Montreal with family and stayed at this charming little hotel for two nights. The rooms were impeccably clean and the service was friendly. My favorite was the breakfast which was served in a basket to the rooms in the morning. The amount of high quality food was more than enough and we loved the idea that we could have breakfast in bed without ever leaving the room. The staff welcomed us with a glass of champagne when we checked in. I would highly recommend Hotel Boneparte to any travelers to Montreal.

Everything about this place is GREAT! Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. The restaurant is amazing. George, Gi, Max all super people who seem to enjoy what they do. Will return!

I had the recent experience of staying at this boutique hotel for one night. Overall I love the hotel style which shows history, the tall ceiling, breakfast including how it was delivered (placed in a metal basket and on the door knob). The room was immaculate. The day I was there wasn't a day there would be parties, and there seemed to be fewer tourists around the old town, therefore I didn't experience any loud noises. It was a good short stay for me.

Room and service were quite good. I’m sad to reduce the rating because we received a mouldy sandwich spread in our breakfast. Something to improve!

Can be loud late at night (2-3am) as knuckleheads leave from the bar next door. Earplugs are provided.
