In long:
The Pros…it connects underground to the business buildings across the street which is nice to avoid the cold. The lobby is calming and had good music. Friendly staff. The hotel smelled great, fragrance similar to a beach home in the summer. Nice and clean. The bathroom was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The shower glass had no water marks and was crystal clear. Best hotel hand soap I have ever used. Excellent water pressure and heat. The room itself was cozy and quiet (away from the elevator).
The Cons…The bed was very poorly made. The sheets were scratchy and felt like a pretty low thread count. The bedding was sprawled over the mattress; sheets were untucked around the sides which created lots of ripples and an unpleasant experience. There were also several stains on the bedding. Unacceptable for a four star hotel. The thermostat was very unreliable. It would say 14 degrees celsius and feel warmer than 20 degrees. One hour was perfect temperature, the next was way too warm. The doors in the room seem to open in a way that blocks the walkway and makes the room feel much tighter when trying to get dressed and move from the bathroom to the open closet.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and was able to get some rest between a busy schedule.
