My partner and I stayed for one night over a weekend. The hotel was great, the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We ate at the hotel restaurant and bar and the food and drinks were superb, and the service was excellent. We plan to stay here again.

First time in Montreal and definitely not my last. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind, professional, and easily accessible. They gave great recommendations on where I should visit while I was in the city, room service staff were very sweet/respectful, and the hotel was everything I needed it to be. Clean, organized, and technology up to date. Loved this hotel and I know where to stay whenever I come back to Montreal!

My recent stay at Hotel Monville was marred by a series of unfortunate events that significantly detracted from my overall experience. Despite the hotel's promising reviews and seemingly reputable status, the reality of my visit was far from satisfactory, leading me to caution potential guests about what they might encounter.

First and foremost, the valet parking service, which one would expect to be reliable and careful, was anything but. My vehicle was returned with a conspicuous scratch on the steering wheel, a clear sign of careless handling and a lack of respect for personal property. The distressing part of this ordeal was not just the damage itself but the hotel’s response to the incident. When brought to the attention of the reception manager, Abir, the response was underwhelming. The lack of accountability and failure to provide a satisfactory solution only added insult to injury, leaving me feeling disregarded and undervalued as a guest.

Adding to the disappointment was the unbearable noise issue in the room. The constant disturbances at all hours made rest and relaxation impossible, significantly impacting the comfort and enjoyment of my stay. For a hotel that prides itself on providing a peaceful and welcoming environment for its guests, this was a glaring oversight.

Moreover, basic amenities that one would expect to be in working order were not. The TV remote control, for instance, was non-functional throughout my stay. Despite multiple attempts to have it replaced or fixed, the issue remained unresolved, further exemplifying the lack of attention to guest comfort and satisfaction.

In conclusion, my experience at Hotel Monville was far from the relaxing and hassle-free stay I had anticipated. The negligence displayed by the valet parking service and the indifferent response from the management, coupled with the noise pollution and overlooked amenities, reflect poorly on the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. It's disheartening to see such potential marred by a series of preventable shortcomings. Potential guests should think twice before booking a stay here, lest they encounter the same frustrations and disappointments that I did.

Great hotel for business and leisure. I spent 4 nights in a beautiful quiet sunny and cozy room. Bed is fluffy and housekeeping is super on point. I enjoyed my espresso coffee from my room early morning and was step away from the best restaurants in Old Montreal. It was my second stay and I will definitely go back.

Beautiful hotel, staff and service. From booking to check in and check out it was a perfect and unique experience. I love how high tech the hotel is with their easy check out, no waiting, no hassle. The beds are super comfortable and A+ shower, unlike other hotels. The location is perfect if you are looking to spend time in Old Port or downtown and the metro is just steps away. My go to place when I’m staying in the city.

After handing over my car completely to the hotel and paying the parking fee, I was very disappointed to find that my car had a damaged front windshield between March 7 and March 9. I did not drive my vehicle during this period and had photographs as evidence and followed the hotel's rules, including filling out an accident report, but the hotel's response was very unsatisfactory. They have shown an unwillingness to take responsibility or offer meaningful solutions.

Hotel management failed to fully utilize its monitoring resources to investigate the incident and failed to communicate any form of compensation or resolution. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer property, especially when paid for services including custody, is unacceptable. So far, I have not received any surveillance video of the parking, the location of the parking, and there is no record of any interview with the hotel valet. Even the hotel manager's email response was perfunctory in the end.

This experience has led me to conclude that the agency is unwilling to take legal responsibility for damage to vehicles in its care. I would advise potential guests to think carefully about their options before entrusting their vehicle to a hotel that shirks its responsibilities. Think twice before you make a decision. I'm out of luck. I use my own insurance.

Très bien situé juste à côté du Palais des congrès, bonus pour les chiens qui y sont les bienvenus. On se sent toutefois à l'étroit dans les chambres standard.

I’m not normally one to write reviews but I’ve never encountered front desk staff who were less accommodating than what I experienced today. They were extremely rude. My partner and I inquired about the possibility of an early check in as we had an overnight flight arriving at 8:00 am. They told us to come back at 10:00 am for check in, which we did and paid the $200 fee, to which they then said wait until 12:00pm when check out normally is as they were “fully booked.” We came back at 12 and were told that it would take until 1:00 pm to clean the room, which was completely fine. We sat and waited as we had coffee at the hotel breakfast spot, only to be told at 1:30 pm that it wasn’t happening. We asked when the room would be ready, and were told “we can’t discuss hotel policy with you.” They then said that they never told us the room would be available early, and that having us hang around near and at the hotel for 5 hours was “just a suggestion” to which they had been “very patient with us”. They repeated “check in is at 3:00pm” whenever we inquired as to why we were repeatedly told to come back every few hours all morning. We left and came back at 3:00 pm, only to have the front desk attempt to charge us again the same $200.00 refundable fee. It was a complete waste of half the day, and left me feeling very insulted.

Nous sommes allés manger au restaurant de de l'hôtel. Très bel endroit pour aller manger un bon repas en couple lors de vos sorties et activités au centre-ville. On nous sert deux sorte de petit pain avec deux types de beurre qui est le fun de voir les agencements de goût. je recommande fortement les pétoncles qu'ils étaient excellentes en entrée. J'ai aussi pris une entrée de carpaccio de bœuf mais j'ai trouvé cette assiette ordinaire. Pour ce qui est de la soupe à l'oignon elle est très copieuse une très bonne générosité. L'assiette pour le filet de veau très très bien agencé les petits légumes et le choix de champignons était très judicieux. L'omble de chevalier qui est dans le fond une truite était très bien assaisonné la croûte était excellente c'était servi avec des petits légumes cuit en papillote. Pour ce qui est du dessert on a opté pour le carré doré qui est un très bon dessert. Pour ceux qui aiment le mélange de arachide avec chocolat ils seront comblés avec les différentes étages textures.

Très bon moment dans cet hôtel, les chambre sont spacieuses et confortables. Dans la salle de bain, les produits sont de très bonnes qualité. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est excellent.
L'hôtel est à deux pas du vieux Montréal, idéal pour découvrir le patrimoine de la ville.

Hotel correct, légèrement overprice pour ce qui est offert. Pas de mini bar dans la chambre, pas de service au chambre en dehors du petit déjeuné.

Je recommande d'aller manger dans un restaurent à l'extérieur, celui de l'hôtel offre une expérience très basique, le service est bon sans plus.

Only has valet parking, wont park my car w all season tires, so parked my car at nearest parking lot for 40 bucks a night. got the suite for a premium price and didn’t provide any bottle of water in the room, water pressure for shower is low, room is clean but very small, no vents for bathroom

Un hôtel 4 étoiles très bien situé avec un service formidable et un accueil chaleureux. Notre chambre était impeccable, le lit très confortable et la salle de bain tout a fait adéquate. J'y retournerai certainement très bientôt.

Our weekend staycation at Hotel Monville was wonderful. It’s conveniently centrally located and allowed us access to everything we wanted. Cafe’s, bars, Depanneurs, boulangeries, steakhouses, museums and the Vieux Port. Our room was quaint, clean and had a modern feel. The panoramic view of Montreal from our 19th story room was outstanding!! The manager Abir and her team made sure to extend top notch service throughout. Friendly reception staff, bar/resto, valet and concierge, all stellar service. This is absolutely my new go to place to stay in Montreal!

The common areas and rooms are clean and well-maintained. I stayed here for 3 nights in a regular King bed room. My room had a nice view of the city and location-wise, it’s close to downtown, and walking distance from vieux port (old port). They have regular room service in the morning and shampoo, conditioner, body shampoo, body lotion and soap are provided in the room.

The gym is open 24 hours. But, I couldn’t find any yoga mats in my room, although it’s mentioned on their website.

The only downside is that rooms are rather small.

Everything was honestly perfect. The only thing that could have made this even better was a slightly bigger room but for a couples getaway, it was fantastic. I was nervous at first because we were close to the elevator but we did not hear a thing outside our room. We had a spectacular view of the city with a giant window that was basically the whole back wall.

Location was fantastic, close to old MTL, downtown, and our venue.

Loved the choice of self checkin which was very easy to follow OR through a person at the desk.
