Virgin bloody Mary and la mer eggs Benedict with the potatoes were great. Long wait times to get seated though for brunch on weekends (we waited for an hour)

Zazie manages to be unique in the SF brunch scene. My eggs benedict was cooked perfectly, and seasoned to perfection.

We arrived at 9:30 just in time to beat the Sunday brunch rush and got a table right away. The latte and all the food were perfect and the service was great!

If this were the 1990s in Iowa or Missouri, it might be ok. To be presented with this type of menu, poorly executed food, bad service in 2024 in San Francisco is truly unforgivable. Save yourself the experience— if you really want food like this you can probably get it in an airport or at a Denny’s.

Pancakes (buttermilk, cinnabon) were delicious but french toast was not special, you can tell that they have an extensive quality menu
I also liked the fact that they dont ask for tips to provide their staff an acceptable living. Thats a refreshing approach in US

If you go for brunch at the weekend, expect to wait an hour to get seated.

Once we ordered, it took another 50 minutes to get our food. It was an unacceptably long wait for food at a brunch spot.

All the food was excellent but we wouldn’t go back for Brunch after 9am on a Saturday.

I would only go back pre 9am at the weekends and weeknights.

First time here and wow what an amazing place! Their coffee cake was out of this world! My dad’s latte was served in a beautiful bowl! The food is so good can’t wait to try their dinner! Excited to have stumbled across this delicious restaurant! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Really enjoyed this place!

I absolutely love this place! It is our go-to French restaurant for whenever we need great food. We love the garden - so romantic!

Had the chance to try their brunch and it was so good- their Miracle Pancakes and Scrambles were delicious ????

The good, drinks and location is perfect. There’s a long waiting, so good to arrive early- put in your band and good for a drink or a walk nearby. The service is super slow, we had to ask 3 different servers/bussers to take our order and then to bring out. It might be due to the “no tip required” policy, not sure.
Would definitely visit again but on a weekday when it’s very quiet.

Cute smaller place. Outdoor patio out back is the place to sit, more space and nice atmosphere. Service was excellent, food was very good with large portions, and not loud like so many other places. The two things to be aware of is there only one toilet, and menu prices include tip.

Went here for Valentine's Day and enjoyed their prix fixe menu.
The food was pretty good and the staff was clearly trying their best. With that said, it was one of the worst experiences I had at a restaurant.

My perception is that the place is too greedy and books more tables than their staff can handle. There are a million people packed in there. We were seated next to a huge pile of dishes and there were people reaching over my head constantly. It took probably 45 minutes on average between courses. So loud I couldn't enjoy a conversation. This place is also greedy in its use of the sidewalk, which is very difficult to walk by with the way their outdoor seating is set up. By the time we finished our first course, we wanted to leave so bad.

Because its always busy and the wait ranges from 40-80 minutes you would think the food is amazing.

Food menu prices include tip so any plate is ballpark $30.

Why a 3 star-

Food taste was good but it came out cold (so cold the bread in benedict was hard) and portions are relatively on the small side

One pro is that if you want a bowl of a coffee drink - then this is the right place for you.

Took them 1 hour to serve our food, several tables that came after ate and left by the time we got ours. Server did not even apologize. Food was pretty average, my potatoes were served cold. Not the best brunch drinks either.

Excellent place. Great food and coffee/drinks. Have great policy on no tilling and they take care of their people well instead. Great service, of course.
