The staff were very nice and friendly, especially Jorge! He is just wonderful. It was so enjoyable talking with him. The SPA was lovely, too. We had an incredible massage. We didn’t want it to finish.
We definitely recommend this hotel. When we return to Chamonix, we will certainly stay here again. Merci beaucoup, Chalet Le Prieuré! ????♥️
Things that could have been better:
- Bathroom doesnt have a door that you can close properly and have your intimacy there, (it's a sliding door that serves both as closet door and bathroom door)
- SPA quite small, more people allowed and only 7 chairs available. Where can 20 people sit and relax or have a tea if all 7 chairs are occupied with others towels?
- breakfast was modest but good choices per overall
Petite note négative tout même à cause des travaux matinaux et des clients bruyants dans les couloirs.
I asked for a quiet room and did get one on the 4th floor. Unfortunately, the room/rooms above were very noisy one night after 11pm.
I was a little disappointed to find the hotel so full of large corporate groups - this made for a very busy and very noisy spa experience even with restricted numbers.
The view from the room was amazing. Unfortunately, the beds are too short. I am 188cm tall.
Bien entretenu et maintenant avec le spa ( un peu petit mais très bien fait ) et la salle de sport il ne manque presque rien.
Le personnel est très accueillant et la direction très professionnelle et aimable, un grand merci à vous toutes et tous. Nous avons particulièrement aimé votre réactivité, chapeau bas les artistes
Everything was perfect , the room was very beautiful and clean !!! The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we wanted especially Jorge!!
Everything we asked he answered with a kindness and desire to help that personally have never met before in any places where I traveled and stayed.
We stayed for two nights in one of the apartments that can host 6 people. It was great. I would love to return to that place anytime for stay, fine dinner and relaxing SPA.

Bad: the way car parking is managed is a joke. Room is cleaned in the afternoon (even at 5pm!!) which makes no sense for those going to ski at 9am also given slopes close at 4:30pm. The pools in the SPA are cold. Food at breakfast is definitely not 4 stars. Rooms are not equipped at all (no shampoo, no amenities at all) which is so bad for a 4 stars. Check-in at 4pm seems late.

Cependant, le service est 0. Au téléphone, la personne désagréable ; au moment du départ, on ne nous demande même pas si ça s’est bien passé, c’est expéditif.
Sans parler du fait que le parking de l’hôtel n’est pas disponible pour la clientèle, on nous envoie « plus haut » sans précisions…
Supplément de 20€ pour les chiens mais le chien ne peut aller nulle part : ils sont interdits partout y compris au petit déjeuner.
C’est très dommage, pas du tout à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles.
Hôtel très bien situé à deux pas du centre ville
Très bonnes prestations.
En revanche, nous n'avons pas pris notre petit déjeuner sur place car il nous a paru coûteux (17 euros). Des cafés en ville tous proches proposent des petits déjeuners entre 8 et 10 euros.
