The restaurant has been operating under a new chef since November 2023. With previous experience at the 3-star Flacon de Sel in Megeve, the chef turns out excellent and creative food but the service has yet to quite reach Michelin 1 star. Expect the service to improve as the staff is better trained.

Un endroit charmant, une vue incroyable sur le Mont-blanc, un service attentionné, dw chambres confortables. Bref un très bel endroit a quelques minutes à pieds du centre de Chamonix. Nous y reviendrons certainement pour goûter cette fois de la cuisine du lieux.

Et voilà, deuxième fois que nous y séjournons. Et cette fois nous y avons goûté à la cuisine du lieux. Je ne dirais qu'une seule chose.... FABULEUX. Une cuisine tout en douceurs, un menu fait de mains de maîtres. Allez-y, cette cuisinées digne des meilleurs.

3.8/5 The views are absolutely incredible. The grounds are lovely, you can tell it’s probably gorgeous in the summer months. It’s only a short walk to the closest gondola. Maybe 5-7 minutes. 15 min walk to town. Rooms are lovely, spacious. little walk out deck to sit and look out to Mont Blanc.Sauna and hot tub are great for after skiing, very tiny so only two people at a time in each, but have to ask them to turn on. Hot tub was like warm. spa room is cold, Unfortunately breakfast is not included, which for the price should be. €25 each for breakfast. We were there for three nights, two of which the restaurant was closed. Supposedly there was afternoon drinks and cake but we only had for our first day. Staff was okay, sub-par at best. not what to expect from a Luxury hotel. Especially when there were maybe only two other couples staying on the grounds. Cleaning service was fantastic, she was so nice and pleasant and always said hello. It is stated that it is a luxury prémices, but you always had to ask for the ‘luxury’ amenities, ie to have the sauna turned on, one time we asked and were told it wasn’t a good time, 18:00. No other recommendations for dinner or where to go. Our correspondance before our arrival was better than when we were there. It was also eerily quiet. No music or Atmosphere, was just not what you expect in a luxury stay. Small corrections could make this a better stay. One of the best parts about traveling is meeting new people, we didn’t meet any at Auberge Du Bois Prin, I think because it was a quiet week but the premise doesn’t allow it besides for dinner or lunch. We had been traveling to different resorts for 14 days prior and stayed in 3 hotels from St Anton to Chamonix. A little goes a long way.

Auberge offrant un magnifique panorama, délicieuse cuisine de saison, goûteuse, magnifiquement présentée et servie par le personnel de service souriant, aimable et fort sympathique. Un dîner maîtrisé par la brigade à notre rythme offrant une intimitéavec les autres tables. Un chef inventif, créatif mettant en valeur ses préparations du moment pour sa chère clientèle. Très heureux mon époux et moi d'avoir retrouvé l'Auberge du bois Prin... Ce lieux est une pure merveille.

Nous avions des bons cadeaux pour un diner.
L'accueil est chaleureux, la personnel est bienveillant , au petit soin.
Nous avons apprécié la repas, par contre la boisson comprise dans le bon ( 60 euros) : vins en accord avec les mets, eaux et cafés), après l’apéritif seul un verre de vin a été servi, pas de café proposé en fin de repas mais tisanes et digestifs (boissons non comprise dans le bon).
Dommage pour cette prestation qui n'est pas à la hauteur du prix.

Nous avons déjeuné ce jour à l'auberge du Bois Prin. Délicieux moment. Les prestations de Quentin Veyrat montrent que ce jeune cuisinier s'inscrit dans les pas de son maître M Emmanuel Renaut mais également de son illustre cousin ! Présentations soignées et mets de qualité et bien travaillés.
Le personnel de salle est bienveillant et attentionné ce qui permet de savourer de délicieux instants en oubliant le monde troublé et rude qui nous entoure

Excellent auberge if you are looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of Chamonix, yet only a 10 minute walk from the village center. Its location, on top of the hill, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

The rooms are very comfortable. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately restaurant was not open on the night we were there so could not have dinner but breakfast was excellent, but coffee quality could be better.

Une auberge qui mérite bien plus que 5 étoiles si cela était possible ! Un service tout simplement parfait, des réceptionnistes adorables, des chambres de charmes et une vue à en couper le souffle. Tout ça dans une ambiance très chaleureuse et intimiste. Nous avons fêté notre week-end de fiançailles pendant 4 jours et il était difficile de rentrer après. un séjour inoubliable grâce à toute l’équipe et cet endroit unique
Nous sommes rentrés depuis une semaine et nous sommes toujours sur notre petit nuage. Merci ???? on reviendra très vite !!

Nous avons déjeuné en famille au week-end de réouverture de décembre et c’est un sans faute.
Le cadre, la vue, la service ainsi que les succulents plats.
Nous avons déjà déjeuné au flocon de sel et nous retrouvons tout à fait la cuisine du chef à Chamonix.

Un grand grand merci à toute l équipe .nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement. Le repas était succulent et très recherché. Et la vue sur le mont blanc au réveil whaou! Un énorme merci à notre fils pour ce magnifique cadeau.ne changez rien .ce fût un moment magique.

Personnels très professionnel et sympathique, chambre très confortable, vue exceptionnelle, bain nordique avec vu sur le Mont Blanc, très belle expérience, petit déjeuner gourmand, avec de très bons produits.

My serendipitous discovery of this cozy wooden hotel couldn't have been more perfect for a rainy day. Exhausted from exploring, I was instantly welcomed by the friendly staff who offered me a warm seat and a delicious croissant. As I sipped my coffee and watched the rain fall outside, the stress of the day simply melted away. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the breathtaking view, created a haven of serenity. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my return.

Beautiful property with magnificent view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the restaurant that left us feeling incredibly happy and full. We very much expect to return again.

Great location and views. Outdoor sauna and hot tub very nice. Short (but steep) walk into town for restaurants and shops.

Perfect! Wonderful room with incredible views, amazing food and service! We had an incredibly thoughtful and delicious meal, the 5 course chef selected dinner. I experienced the best dessert of my life, which was tricky due to my allergies and high expectations being from nyc:) The location was perfect for us, we are hikers and wanted to be close to trailheads- the gorgeous location is 5 minutes from trails. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Midi cable car, which brings you to mountain range the hotel overlooks. Reception was friendly and helpful, answering any questions with a smile.
After our hike we used the sauna and hot tub- a great way to end the day!
We stayed 4 nights and slept comfortably, very quiet.
Would love to return!

Cette auberge est située sur les hauteurs de CHAMONIX, de fait elle se trouve en retrait du centre ville mais après un séjour rempli de sensations (Aiguille du Midi-Mont Blanc-Mer de Glace etc....), elle est parfaite pour un repos bien mérité et un apéro sur le balcon face au Mont Blanc.

Literie de qualité, chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.
Le petit spa est un plus.
