Super séjour, tout était parfait, accueil, chambre, service et petit déjeuner
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de la chambre, le bar de l'hôtel et sa large plage horaire d'ouverture ainsi que le sauna et hammam. Le personnel est sympathique et compétent

L'accueil rien à dire, personnes très sympa. Joli cadre !! Mais par contre les radiateurs qui font du bruits lorsqu'ils fonctionnent que ca soit dans la chambre ou celles d'à côté peut empêcher à dormir. Mauvaise isolation!! La porte d'entrée de la chambre fait trop de bruits lorsqu'elles se ferment.
Le nettoyage des chambre c'est fait très aléatoirement. On a du demander à 14h passé pour pouvoir se reposer enfin car on a attendu toute la matinée qu'ils fassent la chambre. Une fois chambre faite 15h, ils font la chambre à côté à 15h15, aucun moyen de se reposer avec ce bruit!!. On est repartis plus fatigués qu'à l'arrivée alors qu'on espérait avoir du repos!

We stay only one night as our kids having a hockey tournament at Patinoire so we did not get a chance to used their facilities but next time we will come back and stay a bit longer to try ! It’s look so nice !

Parfaitement situé dans une rue calme à quelques dizaines de mètres de l'épicentre de Chamonix ! A qq minutes de la gare à pied, sans montée/descente.
Récemment rénové dans un esprit contemporain, un peu esprit Boutik hotel, des oeuvres d'art, de superbes livres/BD à lire sur Chamonix, une ambiance cosy qui reste montagnarde, qui ferait pâlir un 5* au vu de la qualité du service aussi sur plusieurs aspects : découvrez vous mêmes :)
J'ai payé 89€ une single, dont le prix max indiqué à l'entrée de l'hôtel est de 400€ ! Promis je reviendrai en couple ou en famille, à certaines dates.
Le SPA est à 45€. Offert durant mon séjour. Je ne sais pas si cette offre est ponctuelle ou pas.
Espace ski très pratique, chauffe chaussures.
Je n'ai pas pris le petit déjeuner.
A noter : accès aux véhicules réglementé à 50 m. Super pour la circulation et le calme. Se renseigner je suppose auprès de l'hotel pour le dépot des bagages.

Proche de tout: gares SNCF et Montenvers , centre ville, départs des télécabines Aiguille du midi et Brévent proches.
Stationnement relativement aisé hors périodes de vacances.
Des navettes de transport gratuites.
Un QC Thermes génial à 1km à pied en suivant la rivière.

A really lovely hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the neutral decor, comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom made our stay perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely return to and recommend this hotel.

When three-star means not cheap but modest. Almost like a family house in the city center, with helpful staff, some rooms offering mountain views, and a simple, fresh breakfast. Good recommendations for dining places (which need to be booked far in advance). The sauna and hammam are clean and operational. Discounts for ski rentals, and the bus stop to the slopes is a five-minute walk in ski boots.

I stayed in a small single room and it was in fact very small, but that's kinda what I was looking for as it was just me. The team onsite was awesome, fun, friendly and resourceful. I asked all kinds of questions they have probably heard a million times but they were all so cool and had a glass of wine with patience and politeness. Breakfast was great and the location is a pedestrian dream. Thank you Hotel Lyret!

From the moment we started planning our trip, the hotel staff was incredibly helpful with all our needs, including transfers, ski rentals, and other arrangements. They responded to all my questions promptly and with great clarity. The reception team, especially Isabelle, was extremely supportive and assisted us in various matters, providing accurate guidance about the ski resorts. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's proximity to Chamonix center was one of the main reasons for our choice. I have no doubt that we will stay here again next year!

We just completed a 7 night stay at Hotel Lyret. Overall this is a very nice 3 star hotel, it checks off all the boxes with one caveat....I'll explain further below. First the good points!

Hotel is clean and well appointed for a european 3*. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a dedicated ski room with boot racks, sauna and steam room are very modern (not huge so could get cramped if busy - we never encountered any issues al week)

Breakfast was excellent, high quality buffet which meets/exceeds european expectations. We really enjoyed the lounge with a fireplace and bar to kick up your feet after a large ski day.

Location was also excellent. Walkable to both ski gondolas, and less than 5 min walk to downtown restaurants and bars. 5 min walk to chamonix central bus stop (ski busses to entire valley) and 15 min walk to chamonix sud bus stop (geneva airport shuttle drop off).

So on to our room. We were initially assigned room 101, which had three issues. First was the noise outside. I know the hotel has no control over this but it is something to be aware of. Seems the street is used by many party goers late at night and we were routinely woken up several times a night. Earplugs are a necessity...The second was the view. Again, this is completely out of the control of the hotel, but this side of the hotel has (relatively) poor views of the mountains, and overlooks a construction site across the street. The last issue was a malfunctioning heat radiator which was stuck in full on hot. It took three days to get this resolved.

There is a happy ending. After three nights in room 101 we decided to ask to be moved. The staff were very helpful and found us a different room in the back of the hotel. It was 20€ more per night but it transformed our stay. It was quiet, better appointed, had a balcony and fabulous views of Mont Blanc and Aguille du Midi. It was like we had moved to a different hotel!!

Anyhow, had we been assigned the second room from the beginning, this would have been a slam-dunk 5* review. The 4* review takes into consideration the less than awesome experience in room 101. That said, I still highly recommend this hotel. It can be a warm and inviting home base for a Chamonix adventure.....if you are in the right room!!

Excellent hôtel, très bien situé en plein coeur de Chamonix a 2 pas du téléphérique de l'aiguille du midi. Chambre pas très grande mais cosy et très agréable, propre et avec une vue d'un côté sur Chamonix sa riviere et le brevent et de l'autre sur l'aiguille du midi et le Mont blanc. Le personnel est très gentil. Le bar le soir avec la cheminée et les jeux de société est un plus. Sauna et hammam très sympa, pensez a prévenir a la réception quand vous voulez y aller ils vous donneront des serviettes.

Just returned from a great 3 night stay at hotel Lyret. Perfect location in the centre of town. The hotel had everything you need- boot room, sauna, nice bar area, lovely breakfast. Friendly staff who even let us store our luggage for a few hours before and after checkin/checkout. Highly recommend, we’ll be back!

Petit déjeuner délicieux et personnel au top.

Le point fort de cet hôtel c’est la gentillesse du personnel la toute jeune et la dame au cheveux court de la réception.

L’emplacement est très bon pas besoin de prendre des bus pour aller faire des activités principales ou même les restaurants les plus prisés c’est à quelques minutes de marche
