Having looked at their range of wines online, I chose this as our first stop on our visit to Eguisheim. Sadly it did not live up to our expectations. While the wines were perfectly good for the price, we certainly did not feel welcomed by the woman serving us. She seemed annoyed. Maybe just having a bad day. I bought a couple bottles of wine, but we left with a bad impression. The wine is not good enough for me to want to go back.

Fantastic team of people working the magic of organic production up to the marvels of the wines. Thank you, Arnaud Baur, for your detailed explanations and the tour of the winery. We will have to come back, soon!

Jeg vil gerne takke familien Charles Baur for fantastiske dejlige besøg, minimum 25 gange, en oplevelse hver gang. I hjalp os økonomisk en gang hvor vores bil blev ødelagt og brudt op, hvor alt var væk, det glemmer vi aldrig, fantastisk, du Kirsten hentede 800 euro så vi kunne komme hjem, tusind tak. Kan kun anbefale stedet på det kraftigstede, det er kun alderen der sætter mine begrænsninger. Knus til hele familien. Mange hilsener fra Kirsten og Jens Arne Thomsen fra Danmark.

Small producer of organic wines.
Very pleasant wine tasting with detailed information about the soils, the grape varieties, and the production process.

We tried some exceptional aged Crand Crus. ❤️

Consigliatissimo! Ottimi vini al giusto prezzo, cortesia e disponibilità del personale sia per la spiegazione della differenza tra alcune etichette sia per la degustazione. Il "Crèmant Emotion" e il Pinot Grigio Grand Crue da favola, come la cittadina.

Wine is good but service is bad. The lady who was serving me that evening was rude. I think it is important to have someone who can speaks and understands English well in a touristic town like Eguisheim. Although my friends did warn me about how proud French people can be with their language, I truly believed it is a myth because I was greeted by many friendly English-speaking French locals during my one-week stay in Alsace.

Nous voulions simplement refaire le stock de notre cave et faire plaisir à nos amis et famille.
Nous sommes repartis avec seulement 1 bouteille....pas de bonjour.... l'impression de déranger.... Les clients déjà présent avaient le droit a une dégustation mais pas nous.
Dommage, nous irons faire nos achats ailleurs.

Ausgezeichneter Wein
Wir waren für eine Verkostung dort und haben ein paar Flaschen gekauft. Da der Wein sehr gut ist und die Besitzer wirklich sehr herzlich sind, sind wir in derselben Woche gleich noch ein zweites Mal vorbeigekommen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen
