Fantastic service!!!!! But not a 5 Star hotel. The staff are absolutely fantastic and made the trip so wonderful

Segnalo che questa struttura fa pagare prezzi assurdi per le camere ma poi fa lavorare il personale 8 ore al giorno per 6 giorni dichiarando la metà della metà sul contratto( 24 ore settimanali ma ne lavori 48 di ore). Ovviamente il tutto è stato denunciato e spero che presto riceveremo una bella notizia a riguardo. Non è più accettabile lavorare in queste condizioni.

Sono tornato a soggiornare in questo Relais dopo alcuni anni. L' ho trovato un posto magico e adatto alle mie esigenze. Personale competente e disponibile, colazione fantastica, camere confortevoli e ampie. Tutto questo associato ad una posizione straordinaria, che domina la vallata e il mare. Consigliatissimo.

Wir haben im Juni 2023 in diesem Relais 2 Nächte verbracht.
Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt von Ostuni fast auf dem höchsten Punkt. Sehr zentral gelegen, wunderschöne Aussicht und die Altstadt liegt direkt vor der Tür. Da die Altstadt verkehrsfrei ist, kann man ausserhalb der Stadt auf einem geschlossenen Parkplatz parkieren (Achtung: Parkplatz kostet zusätzlich 18€ pro Tag). Dann wird man mit einem originellen hoteleigenen APE (3-rädriges Motorrad mit Ladebrücke) abgeholt und durch die verwinkelten Gassen bis vor das Hotel gefahren. Das Frühstücks-Buffet bietet ein grosses Angebot und das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein weiteres Plus ist die Check-Out Zeit um 12 Uhr.

Ostuni ist ein bezaubernder Ort, wo sich ein Aufenthalt unbedingt lohnt!

Dieses Hotel entspricht jedoch in keiner Art und Weise einem europäischen 5-Sterne Standard. Da wir doch schon in einigen 5-Sterne Hotels übernachtet haben (auch in Apulien), können wir mit Sicherheit festhalten, dass in diesem Hotel punkto Ausstattung dringend Handlungsbedarf besteht (oder man ist bereit, die Preise entsprechend der Leistung nach unten zu korrigieren).
Wir nennen hier einige Punkte: Zimmer ist extrem dunkel und beengend, da es nur ein Fenster hat. Zudem ist es im Zimmer extrem hellhörig und man kann jedes Geräusch auf dem Gang hören. Die Möbel sind stillos und veraltet. Der Kleiderschrank ist mit einem Vorhang versehen, darin befinden sich 5 (!!!) Kleiderbügel, auf unsere Anfrage wurden uns ein paar zusätzliche Kleiderbügel gebracht. Die Matratzen sind komplett durchgelegen. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut und ohne Fernbedienung. Man muss zuerst die Abdeckung öffnen, um an den Regler zu gelangen. Der Zimmer-Zugang erfolgt wie zu Grossmutters Zeiten mit einem Schlüssel.
Es gibt viel zu wenige Steckdosen im Zimmer. Man muss zuerst eine Lampe ausstecken, wenn man ein Gerät aufladen will. Es gibt ein W-Lan, allerdings ein ungesichertes. Ein absolutes No-Go in der heutigen Zeit. Der Balkon ist spartanisch und kühl mit einem alten Tisch und 2 Stühlen ausgestattet.
Dann gibt es auch noch ein paar Mängel, die nicht das Zimmer betreffen.
Das Hotel verlangt einen Dress Code. Als wir allerdings am Abend einen Blick ins Restaurant geworfen haben, haben dort Gäste mit kurzen Hosen, Kapuzen-Shirt und Flip-Flops gegessen. Da
Der Pool war bei unserer Ankunft schmutzig und hatte schwarze Ränder. Zugegeben, bei unserer Ankunft war es windiges Wetter und es hat geregnet. Der Pool wurde jedoch während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes nicht gereinigt und war während der ganzen Zeit schmutzig.
In der Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag war an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Bis morgens um 3 Uhr hämmerte ohrenbetäubende Musik. Danach bellte ein Hund stundenlang und ein Hahn krähte bis in die frühen Morgenstunden.
In dieser Preiskategorie erwarten wir definitiv etwas anderes, als das, was im Relais La Sommità geboten wird. Insbesondere dürfte in diesem Preis-Segment doch auch zumindest der Parkplatz inbegriffen sein.

Jem of Ostuni for sure. We spent a couple of nights. There is only one problem - i didn't want to go anywhere outside of the hotel! it's so beautiful and offers a variety of indoors and outdoors cozy places, and the views! Views are just unreal. Especially the sunset. The room was very clean with a comfy bed and offered a variety of pillow types: feathers, memory foam, etc. The AC wasn't loud but efficient in over +30° outside. Breakfast was delicious. Additional compliments to Daniela for extra help and to Valery. Tuk-tuk ride as compliments of the hotel is fun, as the hotel's secure garage is somewhat remote. But actually pretty walkable from, just 15 min uphill of a shortcut through the old citywall, as we discovered on day two.

Un lugar ideal para recorrer Ostuni. Deberían advertir que NO SE PUEDE ENTRAR CON EL VEHÍCULO PROPIO A LA ZONA DEL HOTEL: indicar dónde estacionar y dar un WhatsApp para pedir el transfer hasta el hotel.

Im Mai bei mittleren Wettertemperaturen sind die Zimmer eiskalt und leider kann die Klimaanlage die Zimmer nicht wärmen weil diese nicht funktionieren. Das Personal beim Frühstück ist nicht professionell. Wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt muss man selber rein gehen um den Kaffee zu bestellen. In der Hochsaison ist es bestimmt besser. Ein 5-Sterne Hotel sollte aber die ganze Zeit einen guten Service anbieten.

La struttura è assolutamente inadeguata agli standard R&C: è inaccettabile che un hotel di questo livello abbia stanze senza vere e proprie finestre (solo una sorta di oblò in alto). Purtroppo anche le stanze con finestre sono buie, senza impianto illuminazione adeguato. Le tende sono pesanti, brutte, non spostabili per fare luce (ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con un gancio fatto da noi per poter vedere qualcosa). Bagno piccolo, mal collocato rispetto alla zona notte, con ripiani minuscoli. Negli armadi non c'è il calza scarpe. Il mobilio è vecchio, anonimo, totalmente privo di aspetto decorativo. Complessivamente, le stanze sono piccole per il costo che hanno. Room service di poca scelta e ancor meno qualità, ma con prezzi elevatissimi. Frequentiamo molto spesso Ostuni, avendo una casa di villeggiatura a pochi passi da La Sommità, ma non avevamo ancora avuto modo di soggiornare: esperienza flop, non torneremo mai più, e sconsiglieremo fortemente l'hotel ad amici e ospiti: ci aspettavamo ben altro, la struttura non vale assolutamente il prezzo richiesto. Alcuni hotel 4 stelle di Ostuni hanno stanze più caratteristiche, più grandi e più luminose de La Sommità.

We can't say enough about how wonderful Hotel Relais La Sommita was. It was as beautiful as can be and the service was top notch in every possible way. We arrived on bicycle and I had a medical incident within minutes of arriving as I cut my head and needed the ER for a few stitches and the whole staff from the manager to the housekeepers to the drivers snapped into action and took such wonderful care of me. Thank you for making me feel so cared for and for your gorgeous hotel. We will be back for sure!

Avant de réserver j'ai regardé les avis dont certains n'étaient vraiment pas bons.
Notre expérience est par contre excellente, Délicieux menu aux portions copieuses présentation digne d'un restaurant étoilé, produits de qualité, service impeccable et rapide en français, anglais et italien. Tout était impeccable. Je recommande vivement

Une petite découverte après un réveil doux de l’après Covid , une bonne table au cœur d’un centre historique romanesque. Nous avons passé une bonne soirée.

Cuisine plus que médiocre et service très long, qui manquait cruellement de professionnalisme. Aucune ambiance (cadre assez froid, pas de musique). Pas de nappe sur les tables. Pas d’accueil. Ne vaut absolument pas les tarifs pratiqués ni ne mérite l’étoile qui nous avait attirés à cette adresse.

Classe mais sans chichi , service attentionné et sérieux mais sans trop , beaucoup d'humour mais attentif .. Cuisine

Magnifique cadre dans le centre historique mais cuisine décevante , pas assez italien , trop compliqué ... Nous avons tous pris le menu Aqua et n’avons pas aimé le plat , une brandade de morue avé plus de purée que de poisson !! Pas du tout digne d’un restaurant gastronomique !!!!

Situé dans un magnifique hotel sur les hauteurs d’Ostuni, ce restaurant propose une cuisine raffinée de haut niveau correspondant parfaitement a son étoile bien méritée. Le chef nous a proposé un menu sur le thème de la viande au travers d’assiette revisitant les spécialités locales. Le repas a été un sans faute parfait du début à la fin et chaque plat nous a comblé par des saveurs parfaitement équilibrées.
Je recommande ce restaurant a 100% !!!
