The worst of the worst.
I wish I had listened to all the comments and stayed away from this place.
This place attracts all kinds of people and as a solo female traveler, I did not feel safe staying here.
On my first night here, a random guy took my bed and said I could take his bed instead for the night. So the other day, I went to reception and informed the staff we had exchanged our beds. But the staff told me that bed shoul be empty, so the guy lied. Could it be someone that didn’t pay and just sneaked in for the night?
Also, the bed is the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. Creaky and noisy, you can’t even sit on your bed without hitting your head multiple times everyday.
Also, 2 showers for all the guests? One of the shower doesn’t even have hot water! Good luck on that, it would be easier for people who are unhygienic to stay here.
What’s more? You want to buy something to eat at the hostel? Forget about that too, there are only a few chairs and they are always occupied.
This whole place is nasty, dirty, stinky. Pay more and stay somewhere else!

This was the worst stay I've ever had! There was no code of conduct for residents to follow to ensure quiet sleeping hours. Additionally, the noisy bar located downstairs from the hostel disturbed my sleep, making my time in London unpleasant.

No one is ever at reception.
They have a luggage storage but you can’t use it as there is nobody is there.
Food and service is really bad they should change the manager on charge

Whilst staying here on a school trip many questionable things happened which made me and my classmates very concerned for our hygiene and safety. At arrival a random man was found in one of the rooms for which he did not have a keycard. There were moldy sandwiches and towels found behind the beds and on the windowsills of multiple rooms. In my own room there were two massive bottles of water which had been emptied halfway. The toilets were incredibly disgusting with poo smeared on the walls, a general odour of old pee that couldn’t be covered up with deodorant, perfume or febreeze. The beds weren’t comfortable with an incredibly thin mattress. The windows were very thin which caused the outside noise to be very loud and the rooms to be cold. The rooms weren’t cleaned during our stay, except for the changing of the bin bag every once in awhile, during which trash which was in the bin would get thrown out by staff and left on the floor. The chill room had rotten and spoiled condiments out on the counters and the smell of those items plagued the whole room. The only good thing about this hostel is the location.

The bar is fine, but the rooms are horrible. The beds were disgusting, the mattresses have stains, it smells. The bathrooms weren't clean, the toilet didn't flush well. The showers barely have hot water. The staff did their best, but the overall experience was horrible.

I stayed at the hostel, was booked in for 6 days but on day 3 we were all told to leave for a bed bug infestation. I was promised a refund but after months of emailing and calling and them promising it was going to be sent to me I never saw the money
VERY disappointed in the management. I lost hundreds of pounds

The lady on the desk was very rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful. She has a curly hair. We came to check in but found out that our booking was cancelled. We didn't receive any texts, calls or notifications that it has been cancelled. She said that her colleague canceled the booking that morning. She has no idea how we can get a refund when we asked her. Also, she didn't even apologise and just left us hanging. It was my first worst experience from a hotel.

Very long wait at reception as unhappy customers struggled with staff to deal with issues. I was given a bed that was uncleaned and had to go to reception to fix this, and again had to wait for over 20 minutes along with 6 other guest waiting for 2 staff members to go around and around in circles with a dissatisfied customer. I tried to ask one of the staff to deal with the rest of us while their colleague spoke to that customer but they refused. Eventually they sorted things out with us all and offered us a free drink coupon at the bar, they were doing their best to be helpful and I appreciate that things can just go wrong sometimes. If I hadn't been up since 5.30 am and worked a 10 hour shift I would have had more patience for it all, so I guess it's somewhat circumstantial. The place is very cheap and a good location so fair enough.

Pro: location is ideal with 2 undergroundstations nearby, staff very very responsive to any issues, pretty cheap for London
Con: room got far too hot, even with the heating turned off and a window open (February isn't a hot month), triple bunk beds were a bit cramped and there was a huge amount of flies at the bins by the water dispenser
Probably wouldn't stay here again

The chicken wings with the California reaper chili sauce are crazy good. That sauce is almost perfect. It could be hotter.

This was the worst hostel I’ve stayed so far. I visited the Christopher’s Inn in Barcelona so I thought this was going to be a similar experience.
Very rude staff, please hire people who like to help guests and do not hate their job.
There were 2 shared bathrooms for an entire floor, and those bathrooms were disgusting.
Nightclub downstairs which can be heard from all the rooms, impossible to sleep, also we heard fights and drunk people outside.
Finally, the security guys from the club were unexpectedly rude to us, they use the same entrance for the hostel and the club, so if in the evening/night, you want to go outside to buy something or just to smoke a cigarette, when you try to enter again with YOUR HOSTEL CARD, then you have to face the security who demand you to immediately show your ID (one day the told me I could not enter?)Then you have to explain to them you are staying at the hostel and they let you in, but every time you want to go outside is the same uncomfortable situation. It’s crazy, like asking for permission.

I highly do NOT recommend it.

The rooms were good and have a good view from window and I would suggest don't go as walk inn for booking as don't entertain walk in only online bookings were served and from official website it's good to book as it also offer free welcome drink which you have to ask the reception straight after check in which will be served at ground floor at bar counter and they have different range of rooms I have stayed in many of them they were good and though comfortable also.

A few months ago I booked a twin room. They didn't let my friend in as he didn't have a passport. Now I booked again for 5 days for £85 and I was told they cannot refund me and I am banned. I wasn't told I was banned before and I don't think it's appropriate to ban me for not knowing everyone who stays in the room I paid for needs to have a passport.
