Bonjour, bienvenue à l’un des incontournables de Florence : la Cathédrale Santa Maria !
La visite du Duomo est tout simplement génial mais faites attention de réserver au moins 3 semaines voir 4-5 semaines (pendant la haute saison) à l’avance !
Le reste de la Cathédrale peut se visiter en achetant un ticket à l’agence qui se trouve à droite de la Belt Tour (numéro 14). Ce ticket inclus l’entrée de la Cathédrale, de la Belt Tour (qui n’est à ne rater en aucun cas en raison de sa vue époustouflante sur tout Florence), le Museo del Duomo et la petite coupole qui se trouve devant la Cathédrale.
La vue du haut de la Belt Tour est comparable à celle du Duomo. Il n’est donc pas indispensable de visiter le Duomo même si vous pourrez quand même voir de plus près ses fresques en le visitant.
Toutes ces activités pourront vous remplir votre après midi.

I couldn’t go inside because it’s not open on Sundays. I’m sure it’s worth it though, and the main cathedral is free. The dome and other parts are pay to go though, and often booked out for months. Book early if you plan on seeing more than just the entranceway and exterior. I hear the dome is very, very worth it for the special view of city center.

After the busy exterior, the inside is much more simple in the renaissance style which I liked. Be prepared to wait to appreciate it from the inside as well.

Katedra zrobiła na mnie niesamowite wrażenie. Pierwszy raz zobaczyłam ją w godzinach nocnych i sprawiała wrażenie,jakby była malowana. Dopiero kolejna wizyta w świetle dziennym pokazała,że to marmur w różnych kolorach. Przepiękna, ogromna. Podziwiałam tylko z zewnątrz.

Such a beautiful and amazing cathedral in Florence. it is a MUST-SEE! Climbing it was definitely a highlight of my time here in Florence, and the waiting was not too bad either! Highly recommend coming to not only see it, but to see the view from it as well:)

A catedral é verdadeiramente majestosa quando vista do lado de fora, impressionando pela sua imponência no coração da cidade. No entanto, por dentro, a experiência deixa a desejar, pois é bastante simples em comparação com a grandiosidade externa. Ainda assim, é um ponto de referência imperdível para qualquer visita à cidade

De l'extérieur le bâtiment est impressionnante mais la file d'attente, pour y rentrer, l'est tout au moins!! Si vous avez l'occasion, allez-y hors saison et de bonne heure!!

Cathédrale majestueuse, immanquable à Florence. Je l'ai trouvé plus impressionnante à l'extérieur par sa taille et l'originalité de la façade qu'à l'intérieur (peu richement décorée). Armez vous de patience pour rentrer... ou venez très tôt.

Magnifique, très impressionnante d'extérieur. Ne pas hésiter à se promener autour assez tôt le matin, quand tout est encore calme, très agréable (avant 9h).
