I booked this hotel through Booking, thinking that I would find a cozy place to at least rest. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 p.m., everything in the hotel is shabby and old, you notice it simply when you get there, in the common areas, the reception, etc. They gave me the key to the room and when I entered I saw that there were live insects behind the paintings, dead mosquitoes on the walls with traces of blood, and other live ones. They tried to relocate me to another room with the same problems. I went to look for another hotel at 10:45 p.m., I didn't even touch the room but they charged the money for that night. Conclusion: if you are a traveler with the stomach to endure it may not matter to you, but I would certainly never recommend it to someone for a vacation or a few days of work.

La ubicación era inmejorable, a pocos pasos del Duomo y de la Piazza della Signoria. Las habitaciones con unas vistas impresionantes a la ciudad. El personal del hotel fue muy amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos. El mayor problema fue el desayuno ya que se queda muy pobre, solo tienen una máquina de café y lo justo para comer, para mi gusto falta variedad. El precio que se paga es por la ubicación del hotel, no por los servicios que ofrece como desayuno.

Vam aconseguir una habitació amb vistes al Duomo, cosa que va fer que el conjunt del nostre viatge a la ciutat fos molt més especial. Els llits són còmodes, l'habitació acollidora i la qualitat del menjar de l'esmorzar és bona, tot i que a Florència es pot esmorzar de manera excel·lent a nombrosos llocs.
La ubicació de l'hotel és ideal per la proximitat amb l'aeroport (gràcies al tren, línia T2, a menys de 15 minuts) i per estar al centre del casc antic, a tocar de tots els punts d'interès.
Només ens va molestar que les taxes turístiques (uns 5€ per persona i nit) no es poden pagar amb targeta, cosa que fa dubtar de la seva honorabilitat i que genera molèsties pels que no anem preparats amb efectiu.

El hotel tiene una posición magnífica. Literalmente en frente de Santa María del Fiore. Ideal para visitar la ciudad y poder pasar por "casa" a dejar compras y descascar un rato sin perder tiempo.
Instalaciónes justas.
Es bonito, bien limpio, ordenado pero le falta un toque.
Las camas son cómodas y no hay ruidos molestos por lo que puedes dormir bien. Serían más prácticas con edredones talvez.
Baño funcional y completo.
El desayuno se queda un poco corto, pero bueno, no pasa nada, la ciudad está llena de delicias.

Hay que reconocer que la ubicación es inmejorable. A mi me dieron una habitación con vistas, increíble.

Es verdad que cuando llegamos tenían el ascensor roto y subir 3 plantas fue un infierno, pero solo fue un día.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente☺️ Se oyen las campanas de la Catedral Santa Maria del Fiore.
El interior es muy acogedor y tiene su encanto. La habitación es limpia y con calefacción. El hotel merece su precio ????

Good: location.
Bad: everything. It’s not a 3 star hotel, it’s not even a 1 star. Rooms are dirty. AC? Yes it has AC, but it doesn’t makes air cold. It is making noises and dry air. Mosquitos they are everywhere. It’s impossible to feel refreshed after night in this room. Bed is dirty, bed sheets are dirty. Bathroom is dirty. Towels are dirty. Service desk lady doesn’t want to do her job. Hotel doesn’t provide enough towels for two guests (it was just one towel). I asked for one more towel, After arguing and proving that room was booked for two persons, she gave me another one, she put it directly on a lobby desk, where everyone puts money, documents and bags.

It is one of the worst hotel I ever stayed. I will never come back.

Is this the best location in Florence? Yes - next to the Duomo
Is it the most modern ? No - very traditional and all the better for that
Is it quiet? No, but you are next to some of the biggest church bells in the world and a very popular piazza!
Comfortable? Yes
Are the bathrooms modern? Not the room I was in, but perfectly serviceable and clean
Friendly? Yes 100%
good breakfast? Croissants, toast, museli, cereal fruit and coffee...enough said
Does the WiFi work - yep, very good

If you expect 8 person lifts look elsewhere but if you want an authentic hotel in a great location the Bigallo will not disappoint

La centralissima e comodissima posizione non giustifica questi prezzi, sono troppo alti; le camere sono piccole, poco curate e non tanto pulite e la colazione è davvero mediocre.

Hôtel idéalement placé avec une vue imprenable sur le Duomo, dont l'accueil reflète la gentillesse et le professionnalisme hôtelier des florentins. Les chambres sont spacieuces même si la décoration est quelque peu surannée. La literie est confortable et la salle de bain mériterait une douche à l'italienne. Bon rapport qualité prix.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour un séjour de 5 nuits dans l'hôtel BIGALLO où la tranquillité règne au coeur de la merveilleuse ville de Florence. Bravo et à bientôt.

El Hotel Bigallo ofrece una ubicación inmejorable. Sin embargo, el almuerzo carecía de algo especial. Aunque la atención fue adecuada, algunas empleadas no hablaban inglés. Las habitaciones estaban equipadas con TV y aire acondicionado, pero el baño era pequeño. Lamentablemente, tuvimos problemas con la puerta de la ducha y la nevera no funcionaba en nuestra habitación. El ascensor, aunque antiguo, cumplía su función, a pesar de su aspecto. Aunque enfrentamos problemas como la falta de cafetera por dos días, el personal resolvió la situación con otra máquina. En resumen, el hotel es ideal por su ubicación, pero no por lujos.

Отель с расположением прямо в центре Флоренции невероятно порадовал искренним и душевным персоналом. Всегда чистые номера, готовность ответить на любую просьбу от горячей воды для чая до мест, где вкусно перекусить поблизости. Завтраки - прекрасны: свежие круассаны, обилие джемов и йогуртов - что еще нужно для счастья. Ну и, конечно, утренние колокола, которые в 7 утра напоминают тебе о том, что ты в самом прекрасном городе на Земле. Спасибо большое отелю bigallo за замечательный отпуск!

Das Hotel liegt im 3. Stock, aber es gibt einen kleinen Aufzug. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind einfach und schon etwas abgenutzt, aber sauber. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert wunderbar und ist auch absolut notwendig im Sommer.
Wenn man an das Hotel keine all zu große Ansprüche hat, hat man einen super günstigen Startpunkt mitten in der Stadt.
