Super nice hostel within walking distance from the main attractions of Florence. Rooms were very clean and the staff super friendly and helpful ????

Le personnel de l’accueil ainsi que les agents de sécurité sont très peux aimables et peu souriants. Durant tout le séjour des menaces constante concernants nos moindre faits et gestes nous pèsent sur la conscience. Des cafards se baladent dans les chambres, dans les couloirs ainsi que dans la piscine. Le personnel n’aide pas à ce propos non plus.

Hotel très peu recommandé.

Malgré tout, les chambres sont plutôt correctes et l’hôtel est bien placé.

Our room was full of mosquitos which ruined our trip. We were unable to sleep at night because of this. It was not a very social hostel and the crowd of people was either older or kids on school trips. I would definitely not come back again.

A basic value for money hostel. There is no water kettle, mini fridge or cups etc in the room as these are located in a basement common room. My room for 3 persons unfortunately has only 1 electric point, which was rather inconvenient.

It is early spring and we found there are quite a few mosquitoes in the room (we did open the window for a very short time of a few minutes on the first day and that may have allowed the mosquitoes to invade the room).

For breakfast, you can walk across the road to try Caffe Rainer (see photos) than to take the hostel breakfast - better value for your euro imho.

no dejan disfrutar a los jovenes, como máximo puedes salir hasta las 23:00, y no deja ni un pequeño margen , una vez nos llamo a la puerta y simplemente estábamos hablando normal y eran las 23:10 ,hay un segurata que no te para de regañar por tonterías y no nos deja disfrutar del fin de curso.
Te ponen multas hasta por respirar , es mas fácil preguntar que hacer para que no te multen a cuales son las multas. Encima el segurata no intenta comprendernos a mi me pillo el dedo con una puerta y solo me dijo un simple perdón, en fin una vergüenza y te lo venden como un sitio super guay y no puedes hacer nada y también añadir que no me querían cambiar la toalla y la persiana de la habitación estaba rota y no vinieron a arreglárnosla , no lo recomiendo.

Größeres, aber sympathisches modernes Hostel.

Die Zimmer wirken frisch renoviert und neu möbliert, alles macht einen modernen Eindruck. Die Betten sind bequem, und das gesamte Zimmer (und insbesondere das Bad) sind sehr sauber. Etwas störend ist nur, dass die großen Fenster nicht schallisolierend sind, und so Gespräche auf dem Innenhof oder auf der Dachterrasse spätabends oder früh morgens aufbrechende Schulklassen störend sein können.

Beanstandungen gibt es im Detail:
Sämtliche Türen im Zimmer haben keinen Griff, müssen also laut auf- und zugezogen werden. Der Lichtschalter vom Bad befindet sich außen, man muss also nachts die Gäste im Bett direkt gegenüber blenden. Ferner sind die einzigen Steckdosen des Zimmers an den Betten zu finden, sodass die Benutzung eines Föns oder elektrischen Rasierers zur Herausforderung wird. Kleiderhaken, insbesondere an der Dusche, wären wünschenswert.
Störend war, dass immer eine Schlüsselkarte an der Tür stecken musste, damit der Strom nicht abgeschaltet wird. Besonders wenn andere Gäste früher abreisen und ihre Schlüsselkarte wieder mitnehmen, hat man plötzlich kein Licht mehr.

Das "Restaurant" im Untergeschoss eignet sich zwar für eine kleine Mahlzeit am Abend, die Gerichte sind aber sehr klein und vergleichsweise teuer. Im großen Raum ist es sehr laut.

Die Gepäckaufbewahrung kostet 3 € pro Person, ist dafür aber bewacht.

Pluspunkte gibt es für das gesamte Team von Hostel und Restaurant, die immerzu freundlich und hilfsbereit waren. Mit ein Grund, wieder hier hin zu kommen.

Die Lage ist nicht optimal für den durchschnittlichen Touristen, jedoch lassen sich der Bahnhof und die meisten historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten in 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen.

Leider maßlos enttäuscht von diesem Hostel. Schon beim Check in war das pure Chaos, ich musste mindestens 30 Minuten in der Hitze warten. Dann wurde man auch noch von einem Security angepfaucht. Die Zimmer sind okay, nicht ganz sauber, Badezimmer sehr klein.

Beim Poolbereich die nächste Schikane. Man muss Badekappe tragen! Ein Bademeister passt darauf akribisch auf. Natürlich kann man die überteuert Badekappen direkt im Hostel kaufen.
Im Poolbereich darf man nichts trinken und essen, auch da bekommt man sofort Anschrei. Bin mir vorgekommen wie auf Klassenfahrt, viele Regeln und Anschrei, nur ich bin zahlender Gast.

Das Hostel verrechnet für viele normale Dinge extra Geld, wie für die Gepäckaufbewahrung. 3 Euro ist übertrieben. Da die Koffer nur in einen Raum gestellt werden, keine Schließfächer. Wieso soll ich dafür zahlen, gehört normal zum Service, wenn es extra Schließfächer sind okay, doch der Raum gehört zum Hostel, was soll das?

Es steht zwar ein Security am Eingang des Hostels, doch der spielt meist mit dem Handy und pfaucht die Leute an, sich beim Check in in eine Reihe zu stellen. Es hilft auch niemand den Koffer über die Stiegen zu tragen, obwohl der Security nebenbei steht und doof schaut.

Das habe ich noch nie erlebt, in jedem Hostel oder Hotel ist normal Gäste mit dem Gepäck zu helfen. Auch beim Check in musste ich schon warten, doch da wurde mir freundlich ein Wasser bei Hitze angeboten und sich entschuldigt. Das hier ist die pure Freiheit und Abzocke.

Außerdem ist das Hostel an einem befahren Straße, es ist sehr hellhörig, man hört fast alles.

Bedrooms are very squeaky you can barely sleep at night, I do not recommend.

Also, the vending machine ate my money and the guy at reception thought we were lying and would not give us our money back. He even went to the vending machine himself with his key and it ended up working so he said that we were lying and then he drank a bottle of water infront of us while we were dehydrated and refused to compensate.

Service was terrible and the rooms were unbearable. I’ve never been treated this rudely at a hostel, I’m so disappointed with them.

Big room for a hostel.

Las instalaciones están muy bien para un hostel pero es tan grande que para eso vas a un hotel y listo. La atención del personal es muy distante y el desayuno es caro y malo.

Este sitio es una basura, uno de los asistentes (segurata) le pego a un amigo mio por ser Español. El servicip pésimo, no hay nadie que venga a limpiar la habitación ni a recpger el desayuno. Le pongo 1 estrella por no ponerle 0 debido a la maquina de café.

The service attitude of the front desk staff is poor. After the room is cleaned, personal belongings will be thrown on the floor (the pillow I brought was thrown on the floor). The room is dark and the bathroom leaks. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the station and the entire road is not suitable. with suitcase

Decepcionada de mi estancia aquí, la habitación estaba limpia pero no entraba mucha luz. Lo mejor es la ubicación pero la atención del personal del hotel arruina toda la experiencia así como el buffet de 8 euros, nos encontramos con que el huevo estaba pasado (tenía una coloración verde y negra por dentro) cuando preguntamos nos dijeron que era sal y pimienta. Otra noche bajamos a lavar ropa y tomamos unas sillas del comedor que estaba al lado para esperar sentadas. Acto seguido el personal del comedor nos dijo que teníamos que pedirle prestadas “sus sillas” y procedió a pararnos y llevárselas de una manera muy grosera.

It's a big hostel. The building looks old from outside, but nice from inside. The common rooms all close at 11 though.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Plus Hostel in Florence, and I must say it was utterly disappointing. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with rudeness and hostility from the staff. It was as if they couldn't be bothered to provide even basic hospitality.

To make matters worse, one of my friends who was staying with me was kicked out without any valid reason or explanation. The lack of professionalism and decency displayed by the management was appalling and completely unacceptable. After she was removed the security guard proceeded to follow my friend and I around for 10 minutes staring at us and making us extremely uncomfortable.

As if the rude staff and unjust treatment of guests weren't enough, the hostel was infested with ants. It was impossible to enjoy any comfort or cleanliness when constantly battling these pests. I was left with bites all over my legs and face. It's clear that the hostel lacks basic hygiene standards and fails to maintain a suitable environment for guests.

Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at Plus Hostel. The disrespectful staff, unjust treatment of guests, and ant infestation make for an utterly unpleasant experience. Save yourself the trouble and find accommodation elsewhere.

The room I got (ground-floor, street front) can't fulfil the basic requirements of a bedroom, namely it is not possible to rest or to sleep in it during the night. IT IS VERY LOUD!!! The people were shouting and singing just outside the window as they were in my bed. Busy traffic and absolutely no noise reduction as I was lying directly on the street. And the noise from the reception area and sometimes the pipes or who knows what... worst experience regarding accommodation.

Tout etait parfait !!!! La chambre privée, menage, localisation, service... Bref, vous pouvez y aller !!
