We booked through a third party and did not expect that our private bathroom for room #3 would be an entire hallway away. We also found the door unlocked after cleaning, which made us feel odd about leaving things in there. I got locked inside the bathroom because the lock literally fell off, and the staff member just said “okay I’ll fix it” with no real condolences that I had to call to be let out by sliding the key under the door. The room was small (couldn’t fit through the door with our backpacks on) and noisy from bridge traffic, and the staff member that we interacted with was fine but not as wonderful as I expected from reading other reviews. We did enjoy the location and understand we chose a less expensive room, but we wished we went with a standard hotel room for a similar price honestly.

Hotel Galleria was in an excellent position, close to water ferry terminals, restaurants and attractions. The rooms are elegant, clean and ours had an ensuite. The owner was very helpful, friendly and advised us on places to eat dinner and breakfast. A must place to stay when in Venice.

All ingredients of a dream simply which one hopes to come back to.
Location, service and view are beautiful. So is what real genuine aspect of Venice this great hotel houses.

Amazing! For this price, counting how touristic is the city, and this is a high season during August - it was just above all expectations! Friendly staff, great cleanliness. If I ever come back to Venice will stay there one more time for sure.

Thank you so much!!! It was amazing. The hotel is sweet as candy and the view is phenomenal. The staff at reception was very friendly. You immediately felt at home. Thank you for this great stay. When we come back to Venice we will book another night in this hotel. ❤????????????????????

Idéalement situé au pied du pont académie.
Chambre surchauffée pour nous
Une chambre avec salle de bain dans le couloir, celle ci était un peu vétuste. Un léger manque d'insonorisation (claquement de porte) mais excellent rapport qualité prix.

Hotel 1 étoile qui en vaut 2, voire 3.
Rapport qualité prix plutôt favorable si on recherche un vieux palais authentique.
Attention, pas de luxe, mais un lieu superbe au bord du Canal Grande, qui plus est à 2 pas du pont de l Accademia, permettant d accéder à San Marco très vite.
Pas de TV, mais une très belle chambre telle que se l imagine à Venise, sans être dans un Palace.
Propre, déco vénitienne, coup de cœur.
Personnel sympathique.
Excellent emplacement en ville.

Luxus zimmer aber auf den Kanal fluss seite und zwar ein bisschen störende seite mit alle schiffe was tag & nacht fahren. Nur übernachtung sonst alles gut. Besitzer ganz nett und höflich.

Good location...very small room (#1) and bathroom but comfy. View window was not on canal...wish we had requested canal side room. Nice staff.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Galleria. The Room, while somewhat small, was clean and beautiful. We had a nice view of the Academia bridge and Canal. The owners/operators were very kind and courteous, and made it very easy to check in even after their operating hours. The location is amazing, and I would recommend spending some time on that side of the bridge before heading over to the main attractions in Venice. We walked around the area and found some great off-the-beaten-path restaurants and pubs, etc, without the crowds. There is a water bus stop right outside by the bridge as well so it is very convenient to get around. Would stay again.

This hotel was perfect, in an amazing location with a great view of the canal. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is close to the main attractions (Rialto Bridge, San Marco, etc). I will definitely stay there again.
