Esperienza spiacevole. Non ho avuto il piacere di mangiare lì (e a questo punto mai vorrò averlo) e sono sicuro che la qualità del cibo e del servizio sarà ottimo, ma ho provato a telefonare per una prenotazione: mi è stata chiesta data e orario, poi al momento del numero di persone (sette) mi è stato seccamente risposto "no, non la prendo", e io "perché, mi scusi?", e lui "perché abbiamo troppe prenotazioni, arrivederci".

Très mécontente du système de réservation. J'ai réservé plus de 3 semaines en avance par téléphone en précisant toutes les informations à un serveur. Arrivé le jour J pas de table pour notre nom. Accueil désagréable on nous laisse de côté, puis on nous propose une table avec non chalence dehors alors qu'il fait 11 degrés sans protection et que la pluie menace. Nous finissons par partir. Modernisez vous par un système de réservation en ligne si vous n'êtes pas capables de prendre des réservations correctement.

Fantastic evening in Zucca. We had to book a table in advance but it’s totally worth it - stuff is super nice and food is delicious. All feels like home-made, totally recommend!

100% would recommend!
We arrived in Venice a few days ago and booked this place for dinner as soon as we did because I'd read the reviews that booking was essential. We are very glad we did this because people were being turned away and all tables were reserved for multiple sittings.
The menu is not translated well in all honestly but the waitress was extremely helpful and good translate worked a treat!
We had two mains, which were delicious and a side to share. We asked for extra bread, which came at no extra cost.
There is a service charge of €3 per person which is added to the bill but it states this on the menu so you are aware.
We finished our meal with the most delicious panacotta and tiramusu that we've ever had and we're totally thrilled with our choices. We didn't take a picture of the dessert because we ate that straight away!

Sono stata qui a pranzo con mia padre ed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Ormai reduce da una miriade di ristoranti totalmente turistici, che propongono tutti gli stessi piatti (a bassa qualità e caro prezzo) riponevo ormai poche speranze nella pia illusione di trovare un’osteria un po’ più autentica a Venezia - invece mi sono dovuta ricredere!
Menù più fantasioso rispetto al classico baccalà mantecato e fegato alla veneziana , piatti buonissimi e atmosfera reale e personale gentilissimo. Menzione d’onore per la cheesecake pistacchi e fragole - favolosa!

Che dire... Venezia già ha il suo fascino. Questo locale rimane proprio su un canale, visibile sia dai tavoli esterni che dalle vetrate interne.

We went here for our last dinner of our 2 week trip across Italy and it was my favorite dinner of the whole trip. We ordered many of the chef’s recommendations (underlined on the menu) and they were all delicious. There are a lot of vegetarian options. My favorite was the baked pasta with eggplant. It is difficult to get a reservation (keep calling if they don’t answer) but worth it.

Listen, this place is amazing!!! We are absolute foodies, we carefully pick each restaurant during our holidays - and this one (I empathise with many of the other comments) is a gem.
The food accentuates the natural flavours of simple and humble ingredients - which is the way Italian cuisine shaped so much the food in general. Fresh ingredients, fast service, depth of flavour and great views of the canal with gondolas passing by.
Would 1000% come back again. The value for money is also excellent, but for this type of food I would consider paying even more:)
House wine is also very good - we’ve had the red one and it was nice.
If you get the chance to get the asparagus with the mimosa sauce, please do. Very good! Same for the gratin cauliflower, tagliatelle with artichokes and pecorino fondue & pasta al forno with aubergine. What a dream! Thinking of the next time coming here already.

This little restaurant is a find - superb quality of food, extremely nice staff, great atmosphere! Don‘t expect to get a table without prior reservation - check out the homepage for info on that!

One of the few restaurants in Venice with lots of vegetarian choices. Our meal was excellent, and the service was attentive. Highly recommend the pumpkin tart.

A Venezia per tre giorni. mi hanno consigliato di prenotare, per due giorni ho provato con la cena, era sempre pieno! allora ho provato per pranzo ... e ci sono riuscita! Molto soddisfatta, la tipologia di ristorante che mi appartiene: cibo, ambiente e servizio impeccabili in un'osteria particolare.

The food was more than decent , not sm special though. Its a more local restaurant which we liked a lot and not so touristic. The pasta with ragu was good and the lausagne sith vegetables just ok. The servive was bare minimum and kind of rude. On the overall its an ok choice.

In June 2022, I came to the restaurant because I wanted to eat Artichoke Lasagna. I never had it before. When I came inside the restaurant I saw the old man working at the cashier by himself. I approached him at the counter by kindly asking him for a table for one, then he said, the place is completely full. And then I told him that there were five empty tables outside, and I said, I wouldn’t mind eating outside. He said, those tables are reserved and the place is completely full. I asked him if I could make a reservation for 8:00 p.m. for one person. He replied by telling me that he does not take reservations, it is about first come, first serve, and then, he apologized to me. When I left the building, I went on their website and I have found out that they do take reservations by phone. Well, I guess this guy was dishonest and I wouldn’t recommend this place who are tourists.

Une très bonne adresse, mais il faut absolument réserver, car souvent plein ! Quelques tables à l'extérieur et une dizaine à l'intérieur dans un cadre rustique charmant. La cuisine était très bonne, on s'est régalé ! Tout est fait maison et le flan de potiron était à tomber ! (spécialité de la maison) Un très bon souvenir, avec un personnel très souriant et qui parle français !

Tres bon petit resto. Ne passez pas a côté. Pensez à réserver car c'est souvent complet des l'ouverture. Les lasagnes sont magnifiques.

He spoke rudely but I gave it a pass and went again for lunch the next day.
I was told that I need reservations way in advance, but again the staff (a different person this time) was rude and mocking.
In general, given everyone who works there is either rude or racist or both, I’m glad I didn’t end up going there. I’m sure their food is great (because I read such good reviews, I went there twice) but nothing is worth being treated rudely. So good luck to all those looking to have a good time here.
