Maison victorienne de style Queen Anne Beaux-Arts de 1883 avec tapisseries à fleurs sur les murs. Le tout combiné à un mobilier ancien, et on ferait presque un voyage dans le temps. Heureusement, il est tout équipé. Une partie des 36 chambres avec salles de bains ont vue sur le Golden Gate Park, pensez donc à le demander au moment de la réservation. L'équipe est aux petits soins pour combler vos attentes ! Une adresse romantique qu'on choisira pour son emplacement entre le parc du Golden Gate et le quartier hippie de Haight-Ashbury.

Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Old fashioned, musty, drafty rooms that might have been decorated by your great grandmother.
Despite the weird rooms and decor, this was actually my favorite place to stay in San Francisco. The location more than made up for the weirdness. I’d definitely stay there again.

My daughter and I had a great experience at this hotel. I loved the old charming San Francisco vibe with wall papers and old furniture. The room was clean, bright and welcoming. They include breakfast and wine hour with snacks. The location is exceptional, across the street from the Golden Gate Park, stores and amazing restaurants. There’s also a public garage a few steps away. We felt safe and the staff was great.
After reading a few negatives reviews here I was a bit skeptical, but I have to say that it exceeded my expectations.

We stayed at a family suite; the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent. However, our suite faced Waller Street, not the park, and there was a big construction site on Waller Street. I was disappointed; I booked Stanyan Park because it was right across the street from Golden Gate Park, but all I could see was the construction site. The building is old, so we could hear steps upstairs and the talking next door. The toilet could not fill the water tank by itself, so we had to prepare a bucket of water to fill the tank.

Wonderful find! A small, well furnished hotel across from Golden Gate Park. Good parking (paid lot) close by. Quiet neighborhood.
