Wir waren in diesem wunderbaren Hotel 2 Wochen lang im November 2023 gewesen und, abgesehen von ein Paar regnerischen Tagen, war das ein unvergesslicher Urlaub gewesen!
Das Hotel verfügt über 3 unterschiedliche Strände und es wird viel geboten: Wasserski, SUP, Kajak, Schnorcheln usw.
Das Essen war sehr gut, außer eines Hauptrestaurants gibt es 4 kostenlos buchbare a la Carte Restaurants.
Der Service und die Crew insgesamt war 1A, alle sehr freundlich.
Wir können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Es ist wirklich ein sehr schönes Hotel.
Es ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.
Das all in Buffet ist immer sehr reichlich gefüllt und es wird für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei sein.

Wir haben als Familie unseren Urlaub dort verbracht. Ich kann das Hotel zu 100 % weiterempfehlen! Die Anlage liegt traumhaft auf einer Halbinsel und ist total sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt verschiedene Strände zum Schnorcheln, zum schwimmen und für Wassersport. Das Wassersportangebot lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und nie aufdringlich.
Wir haben hauptsächlich in den Restaurants gegessen, die man reservieren muss. Das würde ich auf alle Fälle empfehlen, da man dort einfach ruhiger und in schöner Atmosphäre essen kann. Aber auch das Hauptrestaurant ist sehr gut aber es ist einfach mehr los.
Die Flugzeuge sind uns überhaupt nicht störend aufgefallen.
Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt!

Staying 12 nights we were utterly spoiled from the minute we arrived until we departed. This hotel really lives up to the many first class reviews in terms of service and the food and drinks on offer. The spa is also worth making time to visit and enjoy one of the many treatments on offer. Special thanks to Jean Yves who is fantastic and really does go that extra mile in customer service.

Nous avons séjourné dans beaucoup d’hôtels à l’île Maurice, et le Shandrani a été l’une de mes plus belles découvertes. Un paysage à couper le souffle, des plages incroyables et un personnel incroyablement chaleureux. Franchement cet hôtel n’a rien à envier aux plus beaux 5 étoiles de Maurice. Mentions spéciales à Bernard, Preetee et Iqbal de la réception qui ont été vraiment super! Et merci également à Ashvin du boathouse qui nous a permis de profiter des activités nautiques. Et aussi merci a narvin notre valet qui a rendu cette expérience encore plus unique

Wir haben fast zwei Wochen im Hotel verbracht und es war ein durchwegs wunderbarer Urlaub. Toll ist die Nähe zum Flughafen, so dass man innerhalb weniger Minuten direkt im Hotel ist. Man hat das Gefühl in eine eigene kleine Welt zu kommen und ist trotzdem abseits vom Trubel des Flughafens. Beeindruckend ist es auch, wenn man die Flugzeuge starten sieht. Manchmal kann es dadurch kurz laut werden, uns hat das aber überhaupt nicht gestört. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr freundlich, vor allem Shaaima von der Rezeption ist uns schon bei der Begrüssung positiv aufgefallen. Besonders ins Herz geschlossen haben wir das ganze Team von der Boutique. So herzliche, freundliche und tolle Menschen. Wir danken Corinne, Kristelle, Ruby, Annabelle, Raneetha und Esha ganz besonders für den exzellenten Service und die schönen Gespräche. Es gab neben den tollen persönlichen Momenten auch schönen Schmuck und hübsche Kleidung im Shop zu kaufen. Ein Besuch ist lohnenswert. Das saubere Meer im Blue Bay Marine Park ist toll geeignet um zu Schnorcheln. Es fühlt sich an, als ob man in einem Aquarium schwimmt und wenn man die Chance bekommt, wildlebende Schildkröten am hoteleigenen Strand zu beobachten, ist das ein riesiges Highlight. Auch sonst wird viel geboten, von Wasserski bis Glasbodenbootfahrt. Wir waren stundenlang im Meer und auch die Liegen am Strand inkl. Sonnenschirme waren super, wenn man doch mal etwas rumliegen möchte.
Das Abendprogramm im Hotel ist ebenfalls super. Es wird jeden Abend entweder Live-Musik gespielt oder es werden spektakuläre Shows aufgeführt, von Zaubershow über Zirkus ist alles dabei. Das Spa ist ebenfalls sehr schön und Masseurin Artee weiss definitiv, was sie tut. Es war eine tolle Thai-Massage.
Wir könnten noch viel mehr Positives berichten. Zusammengefasst, einfach ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

The hotel is located in between the coral lagoon and the southeast cost of Mauritius Island. The hotel has many viewpoints and activities for guests. It is a kids friendly environment, and children will enjoy their stay with entertainment activities in the resort.
The coral lagoon provides a unique experience for snorkeling while seeing marine life. The hotel has a boat house that provides boats, pedaling, and snorkeling devices. I recommend buying snorkeling equipment prior to your trip as the market may not have the one that suits you.
Restaurants are good and provide a variety of choices, but I can't rate them on par with other facilities in this resort. In my five days of stay, I found repeated menus, which limited our choices.

Achtung Familien Resort!!! Wir waren auf unsere Rundreise 5 Tage in diesem Resort. Vor Ort angekommen mussten wir leider feststellen das es sehr sehr viele Kinder hat. Wir habe nichts gegen Kinder, jedoch habe wir uns zum Teil wie auf dem Spieltplatz gefühlt. Ob am Strand oder im Restaurant war es immer sehr laut durch das ständige Kindergeschrei. Die beiden Pools waren durchgehend durch die Familien belagert. Zudem sah ich wie sich ein Kleinkind darin erleichtert hat. Beim Buffet hatte ich mehrmals gesehen, das Speisen direkt oder über den Schöpflöffel von Kinder abgeschleckt wurde. Essen an sich war jedoch gut. Die Sitzordnung im Buffetrestaurant war auch deutlich auf gross Familien ausgelegt. Die Anlage an sich wäre grundsätzlich sehr schön und die Zimmer sehr geräumig. Ich finde es schade das es für Paare kein Rückzugsort gab. Beim nachfragen im Hotel wurde uns gesagt das es ein Familienresort sei. Von 700 Gästen waren 400 Kinder. Der Service war zum Teil sehr herzlich und zum Teil sehr schlecht. Bekammen am morgen zwei mal ranzige Milch und zwei mal waren die Servierten dreckig. Unser Fazit ist dadruch, wer Ruhe und Zweisamkeit sucht ist in diesem Hotel falsch. Wir würden nicht mehr in diese Hotel gehen.

We recently visited Shandrani from 11Oct to 15Oct with a large group, we were 2adults and our daughter of 2.5years old, everything was perfect but unfortunately we were very unhappy about the information provided on your website with regards to the Kids Club,Petite Club and Babysitting services offered and reality.
This is not communicated clearly by your establishment.
I advise anyone that wishes to travel to Shandrani with a child under 3 that you should know that the hotel does not include in any means or club for someone to look after your under 3 year old unless you get babysitter.
You must also know that you have to pay for the taxi fare,lunch and or dinner and hourly rate fees for the Babysitter and they make use of "outside"(not related to Hotel) to babysit.
For full day from 8am to 5am you are looking at just over 2000Rupes for the day.
Hope this helps anyone traveling to Shandrani with a child under 3.

Wir haben uns im Shandrani Beachcomber sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich alle sehr nett. Als wir ankamen hat uns Frau Sheima persönlich begrüßt. Eine sehr nette Dame. Unser Zimmer wurde von Herrn Laval gemacht. Ein toller Service. Das Essen in den Restaurants war ausgezeichnet. Die Kellner waren ebenfalls alle sehr nett. Das Zimmer war toll. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Dankeschön liebes Shandrani Beachcomber Hotel.
Eine kleine Anmerkung: wenn man nur Halbpension gebucht hat, sind die Getränke, wie zB Bier und Wein etwas teuer. Aber uns hat Wasser auch gereicht.
Aber wirklich ein tolles Hotel. Wir kommen wieder.

Dieses Hotel liegt in der Bucht 'Blue Bay' und hat uns super gut gefallen.
Die Anlage ist sehr groß und es gibt viele Aktivitäten wie Golf, Tennis, Tischtennis, Kajak fahren, Tretboot fahren und sogar Wasserski und Wakeboarden.
Das Personal ist immer super hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Es gibt jeden Tag ein Tagesprogramm, wie Wasser Gymnastik, Volleyball usw.
Abends nach dem Essen, gibt es oft bei der Bar Live Musik oder eine Show.
Das einzige, was nicht so entspannend war, sind die Lautsprecher auf den Dächern, die Vögel Geräusche nachmachen. Diese sollen die kleinen Vögel vom Hotel abhalten. Diese Geräusche sind teilweise nur sehr schrill, oder der Lautsprecher war defekt.
Die Abschreckung hatten wir aber auch in unserem ersten Hotel dort. Also scheint es hier normal zu sein.
Alles in allem waren wir super zufrieden und würden wieder kommen.
