Our 1st time in Cassis and Calank bikes offered really smooth MTB rentals. Well, it was probably the best rental company we've experienced in France so far!
Good communication, we could get all the spares we needed (helmet, pump, even a backpack!) to be able to have the most awesome times on the bike

Absolutely the best bike rental company near Calanque National Park! Great communication, amazing bikes, friendly English-speaking staff, and perfect trail recommendations via AllTrails. Highly recommended!
Long Version:
This is hands down the best company for bike rentals in the Calanque National Park area. I contacted a few others, but Calank Bike stood out right away—there were no communication issues, and everything was smooth and clear. Their bikes are by far the best in the area—other rental places couldn’t match the quality.
Joseph and the Team are fantastic people — super friendly, helpful, and they speak English, which made things so much easier. They're based right near the park, and one of the best things they do is load a few amazing trails directly into your AllTrails app, so you can explore the area without missing a thing. The routes they suggested were stunning. One day I decided to ignore their advice and try my own trail... big mistake! Trust their suggestions—they really know the area.
They also have parking right on-site, so if you're putting the bikes in a car, you can leave your vehicle there and head off straight into nature. The location is perfect—you’re right near Cassis and La Ciotat, with easy access to cliffs, hidden beaches, scenic mountain tops (which you can actually cycle to with eMTB!), and even local wineries. It’s an amazing base to explore from. Travelling through mountain tops and valleys is something I'll never forget.
The bikes themselves are top-notch—high-quality, very well maintained, and clearly looked after with care.
I can’t recommend Calank Bike enough. Fantastic company, fantastic people. A must if you're biking in this area! Just make sure you take a lot of water with you, as there's so much to see so prepare for long, fun days.

Excellent service. Bikes were robust, easy to ride, fully charged. Gabin was charming so soo helpful. Showed us the app for a route around the calanques to follow. All in all would recommend. Best way to see new area.

C'est la 2eme fois que nous louons des vélos à Calank Bike. Le personnel est très sympa et les vélos sont top. Les parcours proposés sont également super sympas.

On a loué 2 vtt tout suspendu pour aller découvrir les calanques. On regrette pas notre notre choix d'avoir fait confiance à Calank Bike.

Calank Bike was the perfect find for sneaking some mountain biking into our honeymoon trip to Cassis. The shop is super easy to get to, and the team there is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We're experienced mountain bikers from Colorado, and the owner went above and beyond—he even shared his personal favorite singletrack route with us, which turned out to be an absolute blast. The trails were fast, fun, and scenic, and the gear was quality. Great bikes, great service, and great people. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic riding experience in the area!
