Also, this hotel is not a hotel. There is no cleaning service. We were given one towel each and told to wring it out and let dry between uses. We were given two very small rolls of toilet paper and had to ask the front desk for more.
I was required to pay for the breakfast, even though it had already been paid for on the first reservation. And even if I didn't want their breakfast, I still had to pay for it. We tried their breakfast one time and did not eat it again. There were small pastries, and raw eggs that we were supposed to boil in their little hot water boiling station. This did not work and even after boiling for 12 minutes the eggs were raw when cracked open on the plate.
The hotel was very dirty. I could feel the dirt on the floors of my room under my feet. The carpet in the halls were very old, ripped , and black from being walked on. And there were ants everywhere!
In my studio room I did not have the ability to adjust the temperature. The AC stayed in all day and night, it was very cold.
This particular location is not near the city center. It is a walkable distance, but not in an area we felt comfortable walking at night.
Toilet paper was limited
Extra towels non-existent “wring them out and dry them on the rack” did not work.
No napkins for dining; cook your own eggs or take the inedible gastronomic experience of their scrambled eggs; cold meats and cheese were average
Worn hallway carpets - torn up and not vacuumed in days
Rooms not clean - ants, finger nail clippings, floors questionable
The young woman concierge was as friendly as a honey badger, the others okay. Several of the other concierges seem to struggle with wanting to greet people as they enter or leave the establishment.
Seriously understaffed. The cook/server/cleaning person was the only one hustling to care for the entire hotel. There were some other cleaners we saw once but that’s it.
The bathroom specifically the bath/shower was a death defying act to take a shower.
The toilet was on the opposite end of the living area so washing your hands became a trek through the living area to the bath/shower.
The person who designed the interior may never have designed a bedroom let alone a hotel room - first year interior design students would have done a better job.
No balcony but a garden area which was nice until the gardener started blowing his debris into our “living” area and people walking just outside our bedroom door. Privacy non-existent.
Oh and the garden area if you choose the wrong table to sit, you have a Sahara hot wind from the a/con blowing on you full force.
Location not great completely on the opposite end of where anything was happening in the city center. It was walkable but not very enjoyable walk through grimy streets.
The carpets in the halls are torn and very dirty.
For a full breakfast I don’t expect to have to cook my own egg that actually never fully worked. The other choice tastes like powdered eggs.
Our room had no tissue just an empty box and we also ran out of toilet paper.
