A wonderful boutique hotel in a perfect location in Aix-en-Provence. We were greeted by the manager Emma who charmingly told us the history of the house and insisted that we should feel like we lived here. The public spaces are beautiful and our room was comfortable and lovely. Emma made us an excellent breakfast the next morning and we enjoyed the cookies and local candies always available. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. I would return just to stay here again!

What an amazing stay at La Maison d’Aix. It felt completely comfortable with the utmost of elegance. The warmth of the staff made it extremely welcoming. The attention to detail from design to service was noted and greatly appreciated. A true gem.

Truly one of the best hotel experiences we have enjoyed. From the greeting by staff upon arrival to checkout evrything about this hotel is first class. The location is tremendous, an easy five minute walk to the old town. The room itself was spacious, very clean and super comfortable bed. The steam room and cool plunge are in a unique setting and was a special treat. Don't hesitate, book it now.

Magnifique! La Maison d’Aix est sans aucun doute l’une de mes adresses préférées à Aix-en-Provence. Dès l’arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par Silvio avec une attention rare et un service impeccable qui nous a fait immédiatement sentir chez nous.
Les chambres sont élégamment décorées, avec une décoration intemporelle et soignée, mêlant charme, confort et raffinement discret. Chaque détail est pensé avec goût.
L'emplacement est privilégié, en plein centre d’Aix, tout en offrant un calme absolu — comme un refuge élégant à l’écart du tumulte.

La maison a été rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. On s’y sent bien grâce à l’accueil d’Emma et Silvio sympathiques, efficaces et soucieux du moindre détail. La chambre Le Corset est spacieuse avec vue sur un jardin. Excellente literie et grand calme. Le petit déjeuner était excellent ! Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Nous revenons tout juste d’un séjour à La Maison d’Aix. Nous étions venus pour celebrer notre anniversaire de mariage. L’endroit ne pouvait pas être plus juste.
Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une attention rare. Emma nous a raconté l’histoire de cet endroit. Incroyable ! Surtout ne passez pas à côté. On se sent presque chez soi mais dans un lieu d’une beauté discrète et élégante.
Le bassin au sous sol a été une surprise inattendue et très appréciéemais meme si l’eau était un peu fraîche. La chambre, le confort, l’atmosphère, la localisation… tout est pensé avec goût et justesse.
La Maison d’Aix a ce supplément d’âme qui fait toute la différence. Nous reviendrons sans l’ombre d’un doute.

We made a last-minute reservation at La Maison d’Aix, arriving late at night, and were welcomed with warmth, care, and a delightful bottle of sparkling wine with delicious treats. From the very first moment, it felt like coming home.
We stayed in the Master Suite, and words can hardly do it justice. Overlooking both the charming backyard and the quiet front street, the room was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. The house, with just four rooms, exudes intimacy and charm—every space tells a story, elegantly decorated with impeccable taste.
Breakfast was an experience in itself—prepared with love by Emma and her team. Fresh, crusty bread, creamy butter, local jam, perfectly cooked eggs... Simple, yet elevated to something truly memorable. It was honestly one of the best breakfasts we had during our two weeks in the South of France.
The amenities were equally outstanding—the serene living room, the relaxing heated pool, and the hamman created a true haven. The care and passion Emma and her husband put into this place is felt in every corner. Their local recommendations made all the difference in our experience in Aix—genuine, thoughtful, and perfectly curated.
We are incredibly grateful. La Maison d’Aix became the highlight of our entire trip. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s an experience, and one we’ll return to again and again.

Nous avions dû faire un check out très tot et nous n avions pas eu la chance de voir du personnel en partant , nous avions un trop payé et nous sommes toujours dans l attente du remboursment malgrés plusieurs mails qui n ont jamais eu de réponses , pas très pro

Of our two hosts, Florence was absolutely amazing and provided outstanding service. He was so accommodating, foresaw what we needed without having to ask. He offered tips and suggestions on restaurants, places to see etc unlike the second host (E).

BEWARE - we booked and paid thru booking.com. They still (errantly) charged us at the hotel. We called and they acknowledged the error. In spite of four follow up calls and emails - the money was never refunded. This has been going on for OVER a month. This should be easy to fix. Additional issues with the stay (bad ac / etc) just piled onto a frustrating experience.
