Deuxième séjour dans cette belle |« Maison de famille » à l’âme chaleureuse et accueillante. Belles pièces de décorations chinées ça et là, chambres cosy et impeccables, lumineuses et reposantes. Tout concoure à rendre votre séjour agréable. Accueil adorable, petits déjeuner à la carte, confectionnés avec attention. Mille et une petites attentions. Salades de fruits de saison, réalisées sur l’instant, absolument délicieuses. Quand on quitte le lieu, une seule envie… y revenir. Un grand merci ???? à toutes et tous.

More than a stay, an "experience". Came with another couple and had an amazing time in this old-city jewel. Silvio and Emma took such good care of us, even helping me in advance with a birthday champagne greeting for my wife and arranging a car service to our next destination. Take advantage of the beautiful courtyard and lobby for drinks with friends before exploring the city's nightlife and restaurant scene. As others have mentioned, there are stairs but the staff brought our luggage both up and down without hesitation. Right in the downtown. Need to know that your Uber can NOT drive to the front door, so have their WhatsApp handy to call and they meet you on a nearby street, a short walk away. Again, no need to lift a thing. Would absolutely recommend and return again.

We had a lovely one night stay at this very nice small hotel. The hotel is furnished beautifully and staff are friendly and very helpful. Including giving recommendations for places to visit and eat. We sat in the garden in the evening drinking a bottle of wine we bought from a local shop. We ate breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Location is great, everything walkable. The staff very attentive and gave us many restaurant recommendations. Room very clean and comfortable. Quiet side street. Slept well. There are stairs, but they are very kind to help us with bags. So the stairs are not a problem. The art and general decor is fashionable and fun. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Endroit magnifique où nous avons été très agréablement accueillis! Ce fut un plaisir de rester dans cette si belle maison; dans la chambre "Ponti" qui est vraiment très agréable et qui donne sur le jardin de la maison. Un véritable bonheur ! Merci encore pour votre accueil si chaleureux.

Le lieu est charmant, atmosphère cosy, et comme son nom l'indique parsemé d'objets d'art de toutes sortes. Très bien situé près du centre, tout en restant dans un secteur très calme.|Mais son grand plus vient de la qualité de l'accueil et de la gentillesse des gérants qui apportent un supplément d'âme à l'endroit et ont fait que notre séjour était parfait. Merci.

Struttura molto elegante e raffinata per gli arredi e per le camere, davvero molto belle e spaziose.|Ottima posizione a due passi dal centro di Aix en Provence; colazione davvero molto buona, decisamente preferibile rispetto a quella delle varie brasserie che si trovano in centro.|Menzione d'onore a Emma e Silvio: gentilissimi, disponibilissimi a soddisfare qualunque tipo di richiesta, rappresentano il vero valore aggiunto di questa struttura, chapeau !!!!!

Un lieu d'exception, idéalement placé, où la simple nuit et son petit déjeuner vous dépayse. Tout est pensé avec tant de gout ! Bravo et merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil.

Un lieu magique, presque caché, où l'art de l'accueil se décline de façon efficace et discrète. On est séduit par le bon goût du lieu, à la fois élégant et provocateur. Mais ce ne serait que froideur matérielle si le sourire et le charme d'Emma ne venait faire vibrer cette jolie maison. Tout est fait pour que l'on s'y sente bien : un grand merci !

Great location and easy to walk into town. The host are extremely helpful and friendly with recommendations and directions! Clean rooms and Delicious breakfast! Recommend 2nd floor rooms. 3rd and 4th floors have many stairs and hard to carry heavy luggage. Location is hard to find if you are diving.

Excellent location in Aix, with delightful staff and an excellent breakfast. Our room overlooked the garden, had a very comfortable bed and very good bathroom.||I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a charming hotel with attentive and helpful staff.

Silvio ist Gastgeber und Kunstsammler..... schön.
das Hotel ist in einer ruhigen Nebenstrasse gelegen. Gut zu erreichen und nahe dem Zentrum.
Zimmer sind super, schön, sauber und haben wunderbare Kunst und man fühlt sich wie zuhause.
Wir können den Ort nur empfehlen und werden eim nächsten Aufenthalt in Aix, dort sicher wieder loggieren.

This is a very nice, comfortable, small hotel with, I think, six guest rooms. The rooms are tastefully decorated, including with a lot of interesting art collected (hence the name) by the owner. It is very nicely located just off the rue d’Italie in the historic residential district just south of the Cours Mirabeau, which is the main street and best place for orienting yourself in Aix. Even the street-side rooms are quite quiet. The people who run the place are remarkable—warm, helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable and efficient. It’s kind of like staying with friends of good friends, but with more fun people than usually found in that situation.

My wife and I stayed only one night at this wonderful specialty inn. It is a renovated old home in the middle of Aix, very close to most every tourist site in town. The home is beautiful and our room was spacious, well appointed, and clean. The bathroom is new with outstanding shower. Breakfast which is ordered a la carte was very good. We had more of a continental breakfast but eggs, etc. are available. The property manager is Emma and she is wonderful and made our stay special. Her colleagues were all great as well. We parked in the nearby municipal garage as the property is in a restricted zone. The walk is 5 minutes so this might not be great if you have a lot of luggage or have limited mobility. I think you can arrange access to the location if that is the case. We hope to return for a more extended stay if we are lucky enough to do so.

Maison du Collectionneur was the perfect boutique hotel in Aix. Our gracious hosts did everything to make our stay extra special. The rooms were clean and generously sized. The location is ideal and walking distance to all major destinations in Aix. We highly recommend!

Our daughter in law from Avignon discovered this wonderful guest house. It is situated on a quiet street in the center of the city, convenient to all the fine shops and restaurants. Our hosts were kind and hospitable. Our room was so comfortable, decorated tastefully with lovely views onto a beautiful courtyard. We slept well. Breakfast was excellent. Your visit to Provence must include a stop here.

The best hotel of our stay in the south of France. Very friendly and helpful staff. All rooms original furnishings and decoration, but extremely comfortable and practical. |Breakfast was lovely and generous. |It’s right near to major sites and the staff gave good advice/information about what to do during a short stay. As everyone else says, this boutique art hotel, so unassuming from the outside, is very cute once you enter the red door. We had a spacious artfully decorated room with the Nespresso machine, fridge, good closet space, great wifi, etc. BUT note that there are no elevators - a big problem for my 83 yo mother - but not hotel’s fault. Also our room only had a bathtub, no shower - again, big issue for my mom and a bit difficult even for me too.

However, the location is killer, walking distance to the super cute Old Town. We picked up our picnic stuff - bread, wine, rotisserie chicken, olives - at the nearby stores and enjoyed our lunch on their cute terrace.

Most importantly, their staff is awesome. They have a washing machine…for FREE! Huge benefit after coming off a cruise. They even sent the clean clothes back to our room folded. Way above expectations.

Het warme welkom en thuisgevoel van zodra je binnen stapt. Een prachtig, statig pand die de passie van de eigenaren uitstraalt, zijn goed gekozen naam meer dan waardig. De kunst en keuze van de inrichting, de perfecte harmonie van oud, nieuw en vintage. Top !!!! Daarbovenop gegoten, de kennis van hun stad en de hulpvaardigheid, de perfecte ligging en de uitermate vriendelijkheid van de eigenaar en zijn team. Wij waren er 4 nachten en hadden 2 totaal verschillende kamers, anders, apart en toch een perfecte match. Geweldig. Een echte aanrader .... dankjewel, merci ...Kathleen & Anne

It’s been a while since we visited but this hotel stays with us as one of the best during our trip around Provence! The lovely owners were so friendly and helpful at breakfast time, and the rooms absolutely beautiful in one of our new favourite places. Would highly recommend, thank you.
