De passage à Carcassonne pendant le festival cet hôtel est idéalement placé. Le Jardin est très agréable pour le petit déjeuner. Les propriétaires sont à l’écoute et très sympathiques. Merci pour ce moment !

Great location - you can easily walk to both old and new town. Friendly staff with helpful advice for food and drink options. Plentiful breakfast choices in a lovely garden setting. Loved this place with it’s great views of the ramparts. Stayed 2 nights.

Great location between old and new town with easy access to both. Breakfast buffet offers plenty of yummy choice. Staff are helpful and friendly. If you want a great view of the old town ask for room 19.

Lovely host, helping us out in everyway, rooms were absolutely lovely and so was the garden so relaxing. The location was fabulous, sitting in the shadows of Le Cite.

We spent only one night at Hotel du Vieux Pont but we really enjoyed our stay. This is a charming hotel from the 18th century and we knew that there was no elevator so we planned and used a duffel bag and left the suitcases in our vehicle parked in their secured garage at about 50 meters from the lobby. Bathrooms have been renovated and they are very nice. We had a beautiful view from our room and there is also a terrace on the roof. They have a beautiful garden where they serve the breakfast and it was delicious. They also have a small store where you can buy wines and some goodies. Jean Michel and Catherine are very good hosts.

Un petit bout de paradis!!!
Un hôtel en plein centre de la vieille ville , un lieu magique avec un très bon accueil, un lieu reposant avec une décoration très élégante, un grand jardin sublime pour se poser boire un verre ou pour le petit déjeuné et en plus une petite terrasse en haut pour admirer les remparts et tous cela avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel qui fût pour nous un des meilleurs.
Nous avons hâte de revenir vous voir, ne changez rien vous êtes tous super :)

Au pied de la cité l'hôtel est idéalement placé avec son parking. Accueil très agréable, chambre parfaite. Petit déjeuner en terrasse très copieux avec un grand choix de produits. Et le café est bon... Vue exceptionnelle sur la cité du toit terrasse !

En las fotos parecia mejor. Habitaciones algo pequeñas. El cargador del parquing no funcionava bien, lo conecte a las 17h, pero se desconectava todo el rato, y no llego a cargar el coche al 100%, pero me cobraron la tarifa regular de 25€ como si se hubiese cargado al 100%. Solo llego al 90% de 17h a 8h.

My partner and I stayed here as part of our Canal du Midi cycle trip booked through Nature Occitaine. The room was very comfortable, great ac (during heat wave), excellent breakfast and service. The location was unbeatable, steps away from the Medieval City and many restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

I'm giving this quiant little hotel 5 stars because the attention to detail, effort, comfort, hospitality and services are really amazing. It's located at the foot of Chateau Comtal and the little medieval cité de Carcassonne within the castle walls. So it's a short walk from the Hotel du Pont Vieux. The hotel is also within walking distance from the train station and bus stop that's located in the central area of Carcassonne.

Brilliant hotel - easy, friendly and quick check in, good size rooms, great location, and very good access to all the main sites around Carcassonne. Nice recommendation for restaurants by check in staff. Good wifi, bed and shower. Great value!

Wonderful little place, though bigger than you'dthink.. Spacious room and a spacious bathroom. Nice garden to have breakfast in. I could see the entire walled city from my room window. Sloping ceiling, though, so the room that I had on the top floor would maybe not have been comfortable for really tall people. It was perfectly fine for me.

Heerlijk hotel als tussenstop op onze reis. Ontvangst prettig. Konden auto kwijt in garage, was even puzzelen en vrij krap maar lukte gelukkig wel. Ontbijt heerlijk met lokale gerechten. Kamer was eenvoudig maar super schoon en hebben heerlijk geslapen. Natuurlijk de oude stad bezocht, was maar paar minuten lopen. Voor de deur van hotel gezellige barretjes.|Zeker de moeite waard om hier een tussenstop te maken.

Would love to give this charming authenic hotel 10 stars. We had a wonderful 3 night stay, the hosts were so kind and helpful. The location was perfect just at the base of the medieval city, great photo spot from their roof terrace. Beds were good as was the shower in a very quiet location. The garden was a delight and able to enjoy a good bottle of wine (from their shop) there. Many thanks,

Nous venons de faire une étape à vélo dans cet hôtel. Nous n'avons que des compliments à faire. L'accueil et la gentillesse des propriétaires, la qualité de la chambre, le petit déjeuner excellent, la position de l'hôtel, proche des remparts et enfin le local à vélo très bien organisé. Merci.

My self, my wife, bother and Sister in law took a trip to Carcassone in early April and chose to stay at the hotel du pont viex.|Well, we expected a small, quaint, independant hotel. We found a small independent hotel, butcertainly not quaint or stuffy, but a lovely hotel with a small team running the desk and breakfast room. |The rooms were well sized, clean and smart, the views were great while the breakfast had a good range of tasty options. |The hotel is well worth the cost.|Further, it is well placed for walking into the new town as well as up the hill to the old town and castle.|This hotel really is a treat!

We spent a couple of nights at Hotel du Pont Vieux in late-April and found it to be very comfortable. The rooms are clean, large, well appointed and even include Nespresso coffee machines. While it has to be acknowledged that there is not an elevator it also has to be noted that the ‘Panoramic Terrasse’ on the 3rd floor (US 4th floor) alone is worth the climb at any time of day or night for a totally captivating view of the old castle, wall and ramparts that many would pay for by itself - see attached photo! Breakfast was a comprehensive buffet with enough options for all and a lot of local items such as sausages and cheeses. Jean Michel Robbe and Catherine Forestier were both very pleasant and helpful with good recommendations for restaurants either on the same street as the hotel or in the Medieval City. Secure covered parking was available at a nominal cost and we have already enquired about dates for a return visit. Make sure you say ‘Hi’ to the Isadore, the resident hotel cat!

Chambres très propres et confortables
Amabilité des propriétaires sans faille.
Un petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner car en mettant des plages horaires c'est la cohue quand tout le monde arrive en même temps et les derniers servis doivent se dépêcher pour laisser leur table aux suivants . . .
Mais c'est très variés et copieux !
