Premetto che ho lavorato come receptionist quindi probabilmente il mio giudizio è condizionato da un occhio da “addetta ai lavori”.

Abbiamo scelto di prenotare con il mio compagno un soggiorno in questa struttura, con cena, spa e massaggi. Ci eravamo già stati nel 2019 usufruendo solo di pernottamento e spa.

L’accoglienza si è limitata ad un leggere la prenotazione, senza empatia né entusiasmo. Idem al check-out: “il totale di cena e massaggi è questo.” Nessun “è andato tutto bene?”.

La nostra camera, pagata €337 in BB, presentava il pavimento con segni di usura da hotel a 2 stelle, la porta aveva degli spifferi da cui poteva tranquillamente passare un topolino (causandone una totale assenza di insonorizzazione). Il phon era del discount e le prese accanto al letto di tipo usb, quando ormai tutti i cavi per caricare i cellulari sono dotati di tipo us-c. Speravo questa volta in una camera più distante dai binari, ma purtroppo così non è stato.

Nel pomeriggio abbiamo usufruito della spa, sicuramente bella ma priva di manutenzione basica: il pulsante per l’idromassaggio era pieno di calcare, solo il mio ragazzo riusciva ad azionarlo esercitando parecchia forza. L’acqua non era pulitissima, avrei preferito che odorasse più di cloro ma che fosse almeno più pulita.

La cena è stata eccellente, principalmente perché la qualità del cibo e gli abbinamenti sono stati incredibili. Le uniche due cose che non mi aspetto da un ristorante stellato, sono che in sala non si accorgano che dei commensali abbiano i calici vuoti e che le preferenze alimentari non vengano poi rispettate. Per due volte ci siamo versati il vino da soli, il che non è un problema, è un problema se lo si contestualizza in una cena stellata. Inoltre a inizio cena ci è stato chiesto cosa non mangiassimo, essendo due menu “a mano libera”: il mio ragazzo non mangia cipolla e io non mangio ricotta. Nonostante questo abbiamo trovato una pietanza a base di cipolla e una a base di ricotta negli entrée, la cipolla caramellata nel suo secondo di pesce e un altro dolce alla ricotta nella piccola pasticceria.

La mattina a colazione ho chiesto un cappuccino e la tazza è arrivata sporca di rossetto. Anche questo può capitare, ma va contestualizzato. Ricordo il prezzo della camera + colazione: €337.

Abbiamo poi fatto i massaggi, 80€ a persona: piacevole ma non indimenticabile. Dalle vibes “sono qui perché devo”.

Insomma, il posto è pretenzioso, solo che non rispetta ciò che promette di offrire: un listino da 5 stelle e un servizio/experience da 2.

La zona è bella, l’agrumeto idem, ma non basta. Occorre la sostanza.

Abbiamo speso in totale €740, a questa cifra non ti aspetti tutte queste “sviste”.

Non credo torneremo per una terza volta.

Gut - aber bei weitem nicht Exzellent.

Wir haben im Zash die ersten drei Nächte unserer Flitterwochen verbracht. Wir haben für drei Nächte in der Pool & Spa Suit ca € 2400,0 bezahlt. Das sind stolze € 800,0 pro Nacht. Dementsprechend hoch waren auch unsere Erwartungen an die Anlage. Leider gibt es nicht nur positives zu berichten.

Pros:
- Sehr schöne und top gepflegte Anlage zwischen unzähligen Orangenbäumen.
- Der Pool für alle Hotelgäste ist groß und der Service bei der Poolbar sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
- Unsere Suit war groß und hat über einen eigenen Pool verfügt. Die Ausstattung war modern und schick.

Cons:
- Da wir etwas früher vor Ort waren mussten wir ca drei Stunden auf unser Zimmer warten. Nachdem das Zimmer fertig war wurde uns vom personal nur beiläufig mitgeteilt das das Zimmer schon fertig ist. Es hat sich so angefühlt als wäre auf uns vergessen worden.
- Die Anlage ist schön, liegt aber direkt neben einer stark frequentierten Eisenbahnlinie. Gefühlt alle 30 Minuten fährt win Zug vorbei.
- Die Einrichtung der Zimmer hat teilweise starke Gebrauchsspuren. Möbel sind abgeplatzt und die Poolsessel nicht sauber. Für € 800,0 pro Nacht ist hier viel mehr zu erwarten.
- Die Klimaanlage konnte nicht bedient werden da der Sensor der Fernbedienung hinter einem schweren Holzpanel verbaut war. Nachdem wir das Panel entfernt haben konnten wir endlich die Temperatur einstellen.
- Wir wurden mehrmals vom Reinigungspersonal am privaten Pool gestört. Es gibt durch die Lage bedingt nicht die Möglichkeit ein Bitte nicht Stören Schild anzubringen.

Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel nicht empfehlen. Das Preis\Leistungs Verhältnis ist nicht mal annähernd gegeben.

We booked the "cheapest" room and ended up in a room which should have probably been a closet for room service. The interior was cheap white plastic, with the charme of a microwave and one window overlooking a few bushes in the garden and loud fans together with the kitchens bottle dump right underneath. When complaining to the reception we received a raised eyebrow as an answer and a promise to turn off the fans at night... The service thinks that it is on a 5 star level but actually is lacking basic hotelier training. The setting is very nice (despite the train tracks just behind the hotel), and the pool is great, other than that really not worth it.

Forse non ci sono parole per esprimere il benessere interiore che ho provato per tutto ciò che mi circondava in questo luogo incantato...
Dove il passato e il presente si fondono trovandoti al centro della natura fresca e succosa che ti circonda...
Questo posto è decisamente nel mio cuore

Ho prenotato per il percorso benessere di un’ora, incredibile location. Unica pecca che allo scadere dell’ora prevista del percorso benessere, la signora dei massaggi inizia a chiamare imperterrita, vanificando il beneficio del servizio che ho acquistato.
Altro appunto, riguarda il bagno, stra pulito, l’unica cosa è che dopo esserti fatta la doccia, l’acqua arriva sino alla porta ed è molto pericoloso perché è proprio lì che si trovano le prese di corrente per asciugarti i capelli. Per il resto lo consiglio, molto particolare!

In occasione del mio compleanno io e il mio compagno abbiamo deciso di trascorrere una giornata da Zash comprensiva di spa, pernottamento e cena presso il ristorante dello chef Raciti. Un’esperienza di grande relax, magnifica accoglienza e sapori sorprendenti, abbiamo apprezzato ogni singolo dettaglio e momento trascorso. Torneremo senza dubbio

Wonderful boutique hotel situated in a forest of citrus trees, with an amazing Michelin star restaurant on site, and the most beautiful rooms.

Where to start in reviewing this hotel?

Well - the room was absolutely amazing, with a large bedroom and lounge overlooking the lemon grove and and our private pool with spa options.

The Michelin star restaurant was very good indeed. We had the 7 course taster menu, but I think that was actually a bit too big. The wine list was good and the sommelier was helpful without upselling too much.

On a Tuesday they have a pizza night, but otherwise the Michelin star restaurant is the only choice, and thats a bit too much if (as we were) you are there for a few days.

Breakfast and lunch were in a small outside bistro area. Breakfast was lovely - cooked to order and plenty to choose from, if a little to carbs based - but lunch was pricey and a bit limited.

The Spa is okay, but don’t come here if you are specifically looking for a spa break. There are only 17 rooms in total, and the spa reflects that.

Service was lovely. With only 17 rooms and a small team everyone quickly gets to know you and make you feel at home. This was most noticeable at breakfast where I was made to feel like an old friend from day one.

Finally, this hotel is very convenient for Etna, not to be missed

Absolutly extraordinary experience. Luxurious spacious rooms with gardens or balconies. Picturesquere pool area and fabulous restaurant and bar. One of the best hotels ever visitrd. It a life time experience, worth to experience. The staff membera were very kind and helpless, trying to make you feel very special. All this together made our holidays in this 5 star hotel with Michellin star restaurant just peefect. I hope we will come again and spend more than 2 nights in the middle of citrus fields grown by the owner.

Struttura potenzialmente eccellente gestita da dilettanti allo sbaraglio. Abbiamo avuto modo di provare Zash in tre diverse occasioni, usufruendo di tutti i servizi offerti. In particolare, hotel, spa e ristorante “stellato”.
Punteggio hotel: non classificato, peccato sia impossibile dare zero stelle.
Le tre addette all’accoglienza sono state incapaci di gestire un inconveniente inaccettabile: box doccia sporco, qualità dell’aria pessima e filtri clima da ostello del terzo mondo(vedi condizione filtri e splitter in foto), ecc. Arroganti e scorbutiche, poco professionali; incapaci di gestire la clientela di riferimento.
Nota positiva per la signora addetta al bar della piscina: cordiale, preparata e brava in tutto.
SPA: discreta e dozzinale, un vero peccato.
Ristorante: eccellente, ma fossi nello chef cambierei aria. Sia il maître sia il sommelier hanno dialogato ad alta voce con due clienti qualificatesi come ex colleghe del vicino ristorante facendo baccano tutta la serata a detrimento dell’atmosfera. Noi basiti. Mai più.

I recently stayed at the Zash Spa Hotel in Sicily, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I had high expectations for a relaxing and luxurious getaway, but this hotel fell far short of those expectations.

First and foremost, the location of the hotel is problematic. The rooms are situated right next to a train track, and the trains start running as early as 5 am. The noise from the passing trains is not only disruptive but also makes it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. It's astounding that a hotel claiming to be a spa retreat would overlook such a fundamental issue.

Furthermore, the overall maintenance of the rooms was subpar. The air conditioning unit in my room was old and incredibly noisy, making it difficult to find any respite from the stifling Sicilian heat. The condition of the floor was also disappointing, with noticeable scratches and marks, giving the room a tired and neglected appearance.

The lack of attention to detail and the noisy surroundings made it impossible to relax and enjoy the supposed "spa" experience that this hotel promises. It's disheartening to see a property that boasts luxury and tranquility fail so miserably in delivering on those promises.

My stay at Zash Spa Hotel was a major disappointment. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. It is essential for the management to address the noise issue, invest in room maintenance, and improve overall guest experiences if they hope to attract and retain customers seeking a true spa retreat.

Cena da favola, personale splendido, location unica. A chi dice che nei ristoranti stellati si mangia poco invito a provare Zash, pieni e felici!

The room we were allocated (room 9) had a huge bath in it which was a complete waste of space and the pictures we had seen on booking.com were very different to this. The bathroom door and shower door were broken and the room felt really worn/unclean. The shower leaked onto the main floor. Not what you would expect when you’re paying £350 per night! We asked to be moved and got another room (room 8) which was better and were told the reason the bathroom door didn’t shut was part of the ‘design’ . The whole design/feel of the hotel is very cold, minimal and it’s very much form over function, nothing is comfortable, there are concrete walls in the rooms. The pool area is lovely but there was no staff around to take drinks orders. The train line runs right next to the hotel so our sleep was disturbed. We were really disappointed with our stay and would not visit again or recommend it. It’s not worth the money and the surrounding areas/town are not very attractive. We had a much better time in Taormina and paid much less for a more comfortable hotel. The pictures paint a much better picture than the reality.
