Das Hotel liegt nicht in Basel, nicht einmal in der Schweiz, sondern 50 Meter hinter der Grenze in Frankreich - und ist daher deutlich günstiger. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle "St. Louis - Grenze" ist kaum 100 Meter entfernt, und fährt tagsüber alle fünf Minuten, bis zum HBF sind es knapp 20 Minuten.

Vom Flughafen nimmt man den Bus bis Fr. Miescher-Str, und läuft dann etwa einen Kilometer.
Wichtig: Auch wenn das Hotel in Frankreich liegt, ist die Anfahrt über Frankreich VIEL aufwendiger, als über die Schweiz.
Tipp: Die Fahrt vom Flughafen mit dem Bus bis Fr. Miescher-Str. kostet über 6 Franken, auch wenn es nur drei Haltestellen sind. In der Tageskarte für 10 Franken für den gesamten ÖPNV auf Schweizer Seite ist jedoch auch die Fahrt zum Flughafen inklusive.

Die Zimmer sind für ein "Aparthotel" überraschend klein: Eigentlich ist nur an der Wand zum Bad noch eine winzige zusätzliche Küchenzeile, das Zimmer ist vielleicht ein oder zwei Quadratmeter größer als ein ganz normales Hotelzimmer.
Das Zimmer ist sehr spartanisch: Es gibt gar keine Designelemente, ein nüchterner, einfacher Raum. Sogar der Mülleimer ist quasi schon ein Einrichtungsgegenstand.

Die Kochnische ist winzig, hat aber theoretisch alles, was man brauchen könnte, eine winzige Herdplatte, ein Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, und eine Grundausrüstung an Geschirr. Sogar eine Kaffeemaschine und ein Wasserkocher sind da.

Wichtig: Im Hotel gibt es Aushänge, die davon abraten, das Leitungswasser zu trinken, da es im gesamten Bereich mit PFAS belastet ist. Es schmeckt außerdem stark chemisch. Im Foyer steht ein kostenfreier Wasserspender mit einem Filter, der laut Angaben auch PFAS herausfiltern soll.
Dafür kann das Hotel nichts - daher fließt es von mir nicht in die Bewertung ein.

Wichtig: Wir sind der Ansicht, dass das Hotel keine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern hat. Es gibt zwar oben unter der Decke Lüftungsschlitz, aus dem auch Luft raus kommt, die fühlt sich aber null gekühlt an - und bei über 30 Grad Außentemperatur war auch nichts von irgendeiner Kühlung zu bemerken. Es gibt auch kein Bedienpanel irgendwelcher Art, und im Zimmer steht Ventilator.

Die Zimmer werden zwischen normalen Aufenthalten nicht gereinigt, eine Reinigung bei Aufenthalten unter einer Woche muss man bestellen und bezahlen.
Außerdem scheint das Hotel zu erwarten, dass man den Müll grundsätzlich selbst weg bringt.
Es gibt außerdem eine Zusatzgebühr für die Reinigung der Küche, falls man diese nutzt.

Das Bad ist sehr klein. Die Dusche ist schmal, aber breit, weswegen sie überraschend praktisch ist. In der Dusche ist GAR keine Ablage. Das heiße Wasser kommt stabil in Druck und Temperatur, die Tür ist fast vollständig dicht, nur wenig Wasser tropft ins Bad. Es gibt fast keinen Luftabzug im Bad - ein Auslass ist zwar über der Dusche, aber er zieht kaum Luft.

In der direkten Umgebung des Hotels gibt es zwei Kioske, einen in Frankreich, einen in der Schweiz, ein paar Bars, die auch ein wenig Essen servieren, und auf Schweizer Seite Geldautomaten, die EUR und SFR ausgeben.

Auch wenn man nur knapp hinter der Grenze ist - es gibt fast kein schweizer Handynetz, wir haben nur das französische bekommen. Das WIFI ist stabil und schnell.

Die diversen Kommentare, dass das Hotel nicht sehr sauber sei, konnten wir nicht nachvollziehen: Ja, es ist nicht auf hochglanz poliert, aber SAUBER fanden wir es schon.

Das Personal trat uns gegenüber grundsätzlich SEHR freundlich und fröhlich auf. Eine Verständigung auf Englisch war möglich, wenn auch nicht flüßig.

Wir würden hier wieder buchen, wenn die Temperatur draußen unter 25 Grad bleibt.

Horrid place. No air con - baking hot room so I had to open the balcony doors, but anyone could have walked in all night long. I did not feel safe.

No. It is close to the border and the tram. The room was dirty, hair in the shower, next to the sink, and the wardrobe shelf (there was only one) was covered in dust balls. Moreover, the window is a French door that opens to a shared balcony and cannot be opened as tilt and turn, so it is either wide open or shut. Not ideal in summer.

Könnyű és gyors volt a bejelentkezés. A személyzet nagyon kedves, kijelentkezés után is vállalták az ingyenes csomagmegőrzést. A szoba olyan volt mint a képeken, tiszta, jól felszerelt a konyharész. A reggeli elegendő választékú és nagyon finom minden. Közlekedés szempontjából nagyon jó helyen van, buszmegálló közvetlen a szállás előtt a villamos megálló pedig pár méterre.

Légkondi nincs a szobában, bár ez nekünk most nem kellett, de a nyári melegekben lehet jó lenne, mert ha nyitva van az ablak akkor kicsit zajos.

Jól éreztük magunkat ezalatt a pár nap alatt szívesen megszállnánk újra itt.

Nice and friendly staff, liked the free coffee and had a pleaseant stay

cette fois j'ai eu une tres belle chambre, silenceuse et avec balcon. J'ai tres apprecié
juste quelque petite remarque:
1. les rideaux occultants sont pas tres efficaces, le matin ca passe trop de lumiere
2. le check out cest a 11h, par rapport d'autres hotels du group qu'ils le font a midi. En demandant un peu de tollerance, on laisse que a 11.30 on disant qu'il faut pas tarder plus. C'est un sujet que mormalement ca me pose pas trop des problemes dans les autres hotels, le derniere fois en plus j'ai pas croisé trop des femmes de menage lorsque je partais, en imaginant que c'etait pas trop plein pour le soir.

Dojazd do centrum Bazylei najlepiej szwajcarskim tramwajem którego pętla jest kilka minut na piechotę od hotelu.
Można też spokojnie chodzić na piechotę np na piękną starówkę Bazylei. Mi to zajmowało ok 30-40 minut. Bardzo przyjemny spacer

Location is good which is close to tram station, easy access to Basel city.It is close to supermarket too.

Buen hotel, magnífica relación calidad precios, buenos apartamentos tipo estudio, con todo lo necesario para cocinar. La ubicación es perfecta, con parada de bus en el frente y tranvía a 200 metros, tiene aparcamiento de pago. Un único detalle, el plato de ducha no drena bien.

Great location. Walking distance to the boarder. No grocery shops or decent restaurants in sight. The room is riddled with rules, a little nagging and takes away from the experience.

Buen trato de recepcion. Habitacion limpia con cocina. No se oten ruidos. Debes dejar limpia la cocina sino cobran suplemento pero me parece bien asi somos mas cuidadosos. Puedes parar en la ouerta el coche para hacer cheking y descargar y tienen parking bueno de pago unico justo a un lateral . Cerca de tranvias y frontera Suiza. Lugar tranquilo. Precio dentro de lo normal alli . Pongo 4 estrellas porque comparo con otros pero volveria a este hotel.

Hotel is well located. Walkable to all main attractions within 30 mins. I would recommend to book a rooms with a balcony worth it. Few small supermarkets on a street and another one bigger in 10 mins walk. 15 min from Gare Saint Louis.Room was big and clean!!! Nobody cleans my room for entire stay. No housekeeping at all. That was pretty disappointed

The location is the main catch - 7 mins drive to the airport and 1 min walk to the France/Swiss border. Bus stop is right in front of the property and the tram stop is just 4 mins away.The apartment is ok, just basic. The property is a bit old but well maintained but can use some renovations especially the carpet. I perceived a funny smell as I stepped into the room (I think it's from the carpet). The service is fantastic, the staff attends to you with smiles always. There's a private swimming pool . There's a kitchenette in the room with some essentials(fridge, kettle , pots, plates, microwave, cutlery , induction and co)though I didn't get to use them. The room is spacious but the shower room is small.The cleaning can be done better - found some hair strands on the floor, dust/stains on the chair and the barrier at the back door/balcony. I like that the main door is always locked and you are given a code to unlock it from outside, feels safe. There's someone at the front desk 24 Hours. There is a restaurant directly opposite the property, I had dinner there on my first night, not bad and the price is reasonable. More cafes, shops and restaurants down the street about 3/4 minutes walk. The Lady at the front desk assisted me to order a taxi to the airport. New hand towel and sponge in the kitchenette Overall, not bad and it's reasonably priced.

I love the stay! It was a tiring travel early in the morning and we were assisted by Murad. The early check in for a Silver Member was a big help because we dont have sleep but the Hotel Staff was nice to accommodate us. The room was quiet and comfy. The lady staff with dark hair was amazing as well|As the staff at the breakfast area! This deserves a 5 star! Location is perfect and walkable to Basel!

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, nicht ganz sauber und freundliches Personal.
Zimmer sind groß genug, aber sehr warm, weshalb wir schlecht schliefen.

Simple et basic mais c’est propre et les chambres sont grandes.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, superb location at the triple border. Bus stop to Basel city center is right at the entrance. Surveillance cameras all around the streets as well as various restaurants offering different cousins from french trough asian all the way to slavik grill, American burgers within walking distance. Staff at reception speaks French and English for sure other members of the stuff mostly French. Rooms are comfortable and quite decent. Laundry room with washing machine (soap included) and drier. Pool is great for ones travelling with children.

주방이 있는 호텔이라니..수건도 넉넉하고 냉장고에 선풍기까지 있어서 좋았습니다.음식을 해먹을 수 있도록 씽크대, 전자렌자, 인덕션까지..테라스도 있어서 분위기 좋았네요.낮에 리셉션 보는 여직원분은 정말 친절했는데..밤에 보던 흑인 할아버지는 왜 성질을 그리 내는지..투숙객이 뭘 모르면 친절하게 설명해 주면 되지, 왜 소리를 질러대는건지...다음날은 더 가관입니다.차량을 렌트해서 하루 주차가 필요했는데 주차장이 비어 있음에도 주차 할 곳이 없다며 길거리에 주차를 하라고 합니다. 게다가 우리가 엘리베이터를 기다리는데 굳이 우리 뒤에 다가와서 박스를 부수는 작업을 하며 펑펑 소리를 내더군요.첫 날부터 인종차별이 아닌가 싶었는데 확실하게 느끼게 해주네요~ 백인은 흑인을 인종차별 하고 륵인은 동양인에게 인종차별 한다더니.. 그걸 몸소 체험하게 해주는 분이었습니다.정말 화가 났지만, 함께 간 일행이 있어서 그냥 넘어 갔습니다.그 흑인 노인네만 아니었다면, 이 후기는 별점 5개가 맞습니다. 워낙 마음에 들어서 하루 더 숙박을 추가한건데..그 노인네로 인해서 아쉬운 후기를 남깁니다.

Les chambres sont propres, la cuisine est suffisante pour cuisiner. et la piscine est également géniale

il y a aussi une machine à laver et un sèche-linge, ce qui est aussi très bien

En ce qui concerne l'emplacement, l'arrêt de tram St.Louis Grenze n'est qu'à 5 minutes à pied et cet appart-hôtel est idéal pour un séjour à Bâle. Mais aussi pour des excursions en Alsace.

L'établissement devrait être fermé immédiatement pour mauvaise qualité de service et manque de propreté et d'hygiène : draps tachés, moquettes sales, salle de bain très petite avec les différents coins du sol sales et pleins de cheveux. Chauffage en mauvais état. Sol de la cuisine sale. En ce qui concerne les services : du signal piscine intérieure eau pas chaude ; impossibilité d'acheter des bouteilles d'eau à apporter dans la chambre ; sans parler de la salle de petit déjeuner.... tables sales, buffet avec une variété limitée et ce qui était présent a été arrangé de manière chaotique et sans couverture due.|Rapport qualité/prix très mauvais, absolument ne reviendra pas.
