Une belle claque niveau café, un des meilleurs expresso que j'ai pu goûter. L'accueil est décontracté et généreux, je suis reparti avec 2 paquets que j'ai trop hâte de déguster !

Excellent café dans le joli village de St Romain ! Accueil décontracté et souriant, on est repartis avec deux paquets pour la maison. Hâte de les déguster ! N’hésitez pas à faire une halte, ça vaut le détour!

Fantastic coffee and a lovely host. Definitely worth the trip, but be sure to check the opening hours (only Monday-Tuesday during our visit).

Tucked away on a quiet village lane, Matt’s coffee shop is easy to miss but an absolute gem. His focus on light-roasted organic Ethiopian coffee, combined with a French wine-inspired approach (balance, terroir, traceability), offers a unique and delicious coffee experience.

Matt was warm and chatty, making the visit even more enjoyable. We couldn’t resist taking home a variety of coffee beans! You can also find him every Sunday at the market in Beaune.

It was difficult to park ????????‍♀️

Very sweet little coffee shop with roasters. Filter coffee we had was very delicious,fresh and well prepared. The owner is a nice guy who knows lots about coffee. We spent a very pleasant time here. France needs more coffee like this one. :)

Without a doubt the best coffees we've had in France, and maybe even in Europe. The owner is super kind, helpful, and knows his coffees. The shop is small, cozy, and beautifully located in a small, quiet street. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Unbelievable coffee from Matt. This was the romanee conti of coffee in burgundy. easily the best coffee we had in Europe while visiting from Australia. I would have driven from anywhere in burgundy to have one of Matt’s roasts in the morning. Super friendly and interesting chat in a great little shop. The man knows his coffee and if you do too, you must come here.

Hidden out of the way, on a small village lane you could easily miss Matts coffee shop.
