The food, wine and service were all excellent, and I had a wonderful time.
I ordered a set menu, but the pâté en croûte was not included. They were kind enough to arrange for it to be included.
The wine list was also very extensive, and I think that if you can drink wine a lot, you will want to enjoy many of the wines on the list.
Thank you for your hospitality.
I look forward to coming again.

Keuken is uitstekend. Interieur is mooi, mineralistisch stijlvol. Ontvangst en bediening is ok maar onpersoonlijk en niet meer hartelijk zoals vroeger

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. The best meal we had in France! Served was kind and friendly and we loved all the extra’s from the chef. Very nice, clean restaurant and very relaxed.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le repas dans votre restaurant. Le menu était exceptionnel et très savoureux.

Le seul point que nous avons remarqué, ce sont les couteaux à viande émoussés. La viande de bœuf, qui n'était parfois pas très tendre, était ainsi presque impossible à couper

Beaune has exceptional restaurants and La Benaton is one that sits comfortably in that category. The food is absolutely delicious and is Michelin Star worthy. The service is excellent but you do need to keep an eye on over zealous wine pouring waiters, who top you up constantly, which can leave you with the impression that you are being rushed through a bottle of wine. The restaurant is quiet and had an air of exclusivity, lacking a warmth and vibrancy which may dissuade young foodies from visiting, which would be a great shame as the food is absolutely superb. Dog friendly and well worth a visit!

The classic french dishes....high class ingredients and not with small thing just and not with decorations things nowadays lots of fench restaurants like that .

Really are very well. French with a twist of Japan. Really tasteful, very subtle. Really nice to look at and surprising to eat. The dishes are near perfection and service was very good and attent. We walked out being very happy

A culinary peak. This is a restaurant with ambitions and with an outstanding service. We did the set menu (5 entries), and each serving broadened our smiles. The wine list is impressive: From the affordable but acceptable to the unobtainable.

Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle, assurément l’un des meilleurs restaurants que j’ai pu tester, un cran au dessus des étoilés dans lesquels je suis allé sur Paris et le Val d’Oise. Créativité, originalité, audace concernant le mélange de certaines saveurs, ce fut un sans faute du début jusqu’à la fin du repas et c’est un avis partagé pour les 4 convives que nous étions. Encore un grand merci au Benaton pour cette soirée d’exception !!!

Bien accueilli, belle expérience culinaire également. Serveur un peu hésitant quant à l'explication des assiettes. Pâté en croûte a recommander bien évidemment, choix de fromage exceptionnel.

Nous avons dîné au Benaton fin novembre 2023. Ce restaurant est situé près du centre-ville de Beaune et jouxte la moutarderie Fallot.

Le service est aux petits soins, le personnel est souriant et attentionné. Nous avons apprécié le conseil de l'oenologue sur la carte des vins (vin naturel à température idéale, c'est à dire proche de 10° pour du rouge de Bourgogne, carafé avec soins).

La cuisine était délicieuse tout en étant légère. L'étoile est amplement méritée. Le seul point négatif notable sur la salle d'intérieur est le bruit, un petit aménagement acoustique serait idéal. Nous reviendrons.
