We had an amazing stay with them which was mainly made possible by the friendly & professionalism of Bavish at the frontdesk who assisted and helped us out when they had to do routine maintenance at our initial preferred room. Thank you so much.
Rayan at the frontdesk was also immensely helpful.
Basically all the staff- including manager Sham, were all friendly, effective and professional..

Pokud hledáte klidný hotel s luxusní kuchyní a rádi šnorchlujete, tak navštivte tento hotel. Musím také vyzdvihnout "perlu" tohoto hotelu.☝️ Naprosto dokonalého číšníka "Antonyho", protože tak profesionální přístup se už opravdu nikde nevidí.????????????

We spent the last 2 nights of our 2-week trip around Mauritius in the Astroea Beach Hotel. We had chosen the hotel for the beautiful beach and the great price for value. So we didn't expect any luxurious rooms or accommodations only a nice beach and some simple and clean rooms.
Unfortunately, we saw on arrival that the beach looked completely different from the pictures that the hotel is advertising. As we found out the bigger part of the beach was swept away during a storm a few years ago. On top, we were really disappointed by the rooms, not because they were old and worn down, but because they had been really dusty and dirty.
So i would recommend the hotel only if you can get a room really cheap (2-star or lower prices) and don't book it because of the beach as advertised.

Kleines einfaches Beachhotel...supernetter Service...gutes Essen...wunderbare Strandlage...perfekter Ort zum Schnorcheln...Zimmer sind einfach aber zweckmäßig mit Terrasse und wunderbarem Blick auf den Indik...schöne Anlage,guter Parkplatz...bin sehr zufrieden...Preis-Leistung stimmt.

We had a fantastic stay at Astroea Beach Resort Mauritius. It's a very beautiful place and we had an amazing time. Food at Astroea was succulent. Very quick service and welcoming staff.
10 mins from the airport .
The hotel has a beautiful location offering a private beach just some few steps away from your room.
The lounge chairs on the balcony made sure we spent the maximum amount of time outside which I loved. At night there were so many stars, it was just beautiful.
We also make a point to wake early for a beautiful sunrise.
Breakfast was included and very good
Lot of water activities like snorkeling ,kayaking,parasailing,fishing ,diving submarine
The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and a fantastic view of the ocean.
I would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius. The Astroea Beach, I'll be back soon ????

Bed bugs.
Walked in and noticed them immediately. Got offered another room which was worse in quality, which also had bed bugs. No cellular reception there either. Room was super dirty even before I saw the bed bugs. I had to go to holiday inn super late due to how filthy it was. The lights were broken, as well as power sockets.
Please, never come here.

We had a fantastic stay at Astroea Beach last month for my brother's birthday. It's a very beautiful place and we had an amazing time. Food at Astroea was succulent. Very quick service and welcoming staff.

The hotel has a beautiful location offering a private beach just some few steps away from your room. I believe its the only positive thing I found about this hotel as its ideal if you want a peaceful break from the routine busy and noisy city.
However, there's so many things that really need improvement from the management. The room was not properly cleaned, the bed sheets and duvet were old and dirty. So many things from electrical sockets to bathroom tap were broken and there was no hot water as well.
For the food, it was really basic and despite being offered a choice of 2 on a menu a la carte, we still had to wait for ages to get our food which was worse than canteen food. For dinner, I had chosen grilled fish and was really shocked to find out that the main dish was just a square piece of grilled fish measuring 5cm by 5cm served with some salads and chips. For dessert, i had a moelleux chocolat but i recon it was prepared in the microwave as it was as chewy as a chewing gum.
With regards to the staff, despite being friendly, it was obvious that they lacked professional coaching as I don't find it normal for them to be refering to tables by the personal traits of customers instead of the table number. For example, it was the cocktail for the Chinese guy, the starter for the Bald guy, the fat lady looking for her dessert and it went out like that during the whole service.
When I found out that this hotel was the sister hotel of the very famous Preskil, i really had high expectations for the standards but I was much disappointed. I really hope that the management can refer to my critisms as something constructive and an opportunity to improve where needed cause this hotel has very good potentials!!! It's just like a brut diamond that needs a proper polishing to shine like a beautiful gem!

Schönes Hotel am Meer. Zimmer sind leider schon alt und die dusche ist auch nicht so sauber und schön. Aber der Ausblick macht einiges gut.

We had an amazing time at Astroea this weekend.
Even though the weather was not in our favour, the staff made sure everything else was perfect.
The food and the cocktails were so good, it was my husband's birthday, they even surprised us with a l'il birthday cake.
We had a great time, highly recommended.

The front desk here were not so friendly except for their supervisor. The guy we found the first day at the front desk when we checked in was not helpful at all! They do not offer many options for activities neither to they give detailed information regarding other activities in the area nor provide clients with alternative options to navigate the area
Apart from this they have a great private beach area. Next time I am in Mauritius I will try their parent hotel Preskil Island Resort. It looked more organized and it’s a beautiful place too. Though we never stayed at Preskil…

Stayed for one night as it's relatively close to the airport. Staff were extremely helpful and made our rather late check in a seamless experience. Rooms are great of one or two nights before heading out for your Mauritian adventure.

Le camere al piano terra, fronte spiaggia, hanno una vista suggestiva; una posizione da sogno tropicale. Il bagno è da sistemare per essere a livello della struttura. Alla reception e al ristorante il personale è in generale molto giovane e questo si ripercuote nell'esperienza con i clienti. Cucina ottima, consigliato per piatti di pesce.

The property is decent but I had an extremely bad experience with the manager working over there
Her name is Karina
It was our honeymoon trip and first hotel booked in Mauritius
So we had booked a deluxe room with the balcony
It was clearly mentioned on the booking with the picture that we had booked the bigger room
And I had written mail in advance regarding my honeymoon so that we can get the room with a bigger balcony
But Karina refused to give us the room inspite of literally begging her so many times
She said the room was occupied but room wasn't occupied
Room did not have any occupancy
She told that we need to request for the room with bigger balcony
But online we already booked the room with balcony and she refused
I was extremely disappointed with her service and my honeymoon started on a bad note with her experience
On the other hand
Ryan was extremely hospitable and was very sweet to us.
I would request the management to not let this happen again to others who travel so far for honeymoon only to get disappointed by such acts of people working in the hotel

situated in pointe d'Esny direct acces to the sea. located on the main road leading to blue bay. the sea is of a turquoise blue and the fine sand make you want to stay even longer and enjoy the sun. nice view on the sea.

Lovely place close to the airport and great for a first and/or last night on the island.
Staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful and the resort very clean.
The place is older and and a bit tired, but the cleanliness makes up for that in my mind as long as you’re aware going in. We had a huge room above the lobby and restaurant with a large private balcony overlooking the beach. The lounge chairs on the balcony made sure we spent the maximum amount of time outside which I loved. At night there were so many stars, it was just beautiful.
We also make a point to wake early for a beautiful sunrise.

J'ai testé le resto pour déjeuner.
Le seul point positif c'est la vue incroyable.
La nourriture est insipide , c'est coupé à l'eau je pense , vraiment aucun goût ! Pour le prix c'est scandaleux !
Je ne parle pas de la lenteur du service juste catastrophique .
