The restaurant was amazing, not only that the food was beautifully decorated, the view outside the restaurant overlooking the river was equally stunning!

What stood out was their service! From the way they arranged the cutlery to the way they present the food, it was simply delightful. The crews were friendly and ever ready to give an enjoyable experience!

Having frequented numerous spas in the past, my visit to the Yeatman Spa was distinguished by its exceptional attention to detail and warmth. As a regular sauna enthusiast, I was drawn to explore their facilities, already familiar with the splendor of Yeatman's 2 Michelin-star restaurant and the breathtaking views of Porto.

Despite my familiarity, an unfortunate mishap occurred when I accidentally burned three fingers while attempting to pour water onto the sauna's hot stones. It's entirely my responsibility. I should have been more attentive to the fact that different spas may use various types of stones. However, what ensued was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment I shared my predicament with the receptionist at the spa, the Yeatman team sprang into action with a level of care and professionalism that surpassed all expectations.

Their concern for my well-being was evident as they meticulously assessed the situation, offering assistance and even procuring medical supplies from the nearby pharmacy. Every member of the staff, from the spa attendants to the hotel manager and bar manager, extended genuine hospitality, ensuring my comfort and recovery.

This exemplary display of customer service left an indelible impression on me. Despite the unfortunate incident, I left the Yeatman Spa feeling not only physically better but also deeply grateful for the compassion and dedication of their team.

The Yeatman Gastronomic Restaurant was excellent and one of the more memorable experiences we have had. The food and wine was excellent, but the service ultimately was what made the experience so unique.

A young energetic team that were exceptional hosts and managed to bringing joy and laughter throughout the entire experience.

They listened to every word of our feedback and made adjustments as the night progressed.

An unbelievable experience that was worth every penny and I would definitely recommend it to anyone deciding where to dine while they are in Porto.

The moment we drove up to the entrance of The Yeatman, the service and kindness of the staff was AMAZING! During check-in we were offered welcome drinks (a glass of port wine). It was a lovely way to get introduced to the birthplace of port. The Yeatman is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. Our room had a wonderful view of the river and we especially enjoyed the turndown service (they leave chocolate ???? by your pillow). We only had breakfast at the hotel which was delicious and had lots of options including an omelette station. The gym has all the latest equipment and foam rollers to help my achy legs after walking around Lisbon for several days. There is also both an indoor and outdoor pool (too cold and rainy to use the outdoor pool) but both had gorgeous views of downtown Porto and the river. If you get a chance, take the stairs which has information on both Portuguese and world historical events. The Yeatman made our visit of Porto much more enjoyable and I can't wait to come back!

Honestly, there is NOTHING to complain about here! The Yeatman is a lovely English hotel. As soon as we drove on the grounds we knew that this place was special. We were cordially greeted by one of the doormen and escorted inside where we were promptly assisted. It was off season (February) and we did not have reservations but they went overboard to help us find the type of room to meet our needs. This immaculate process aptly describes the rest of our stay.

The facilities are beautiful and well kept, the food was abundant, varied and delicious (even during off season.) The spa was more than we could ever hope for (pool, saunas, Turkish and Roman bath, facials, massages, manicures, and more...they even had a store and that was a good thing as I forgot my bathing suit...they were so kind to help me pick out one!
The spa's little details made it inviting and comfortable.

Each and every person on The Yeatman' s staff that we encountered greeted us, made eye contact with us and went overboard to be helpful, from the door men, to the people at front desks, to the bell hops, to the waiters and waitresses, to the hostesses, barista, to the spa employees, to the housekeepers, and to the shop staff!) I honestly felt like royalty everywhere I went. NO staff member was ever too hurried to ask if we needed anything....and if we needed ANYTHING it was provided.

NO detail was ignored. Everything was cleaned and polished and swept.

The views from The Yeatman were perfect. The grounds were wonderful to wander around. There is a lovely shopping area within walking distance that also boost of restaurants, museums, wine shops, coffee, icecream, souveniers and so much more.

The rooms were so nice, plenty of room to unpack, comfortable seating (inside and out) and the beds (and sheets) were oh so comfortable.

At one point, I told someone on the staff that I wanted to live there (Who wouldn't!!?)

Wow. What an amazing 3 night stay at the Yeatman. From arrival, the reception staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Samy at the bar is a top notch professional. The breakfast team was so helpful and quick to meet any needs you may have - fixing up lattes, refilling the best Detox juice, offering to-go boxes for the sleepy heads. What really took the cake was the wellness center. I didn’t even mention the view yet! Thank you to the concierge who helped us coordinate a one-way rental car with delivery to the hotel. It’s not cheap, but we’ll remember our experience forever and appreciate the great staff and service at the Yeatman.

El hotel es espectacular, aunque solo hemos estado cenando allí. La cena no es menos que el hotel, muy sobresaliente. La calidad es superior, como lo es también el servicio que te ofrece. Sencillamente es otro nivel.

Platos muy elaborados con una selección de vinos portugueses. Te sorprenderán alguna de las propuestas.

The Yeatman Gastronomic 2 Star Michelin was beyond our imagination. The finely curated moments of the surrounding environment intertwined with the taste and textures of the dishes were executed to perfection. We included the Yeatman Wine Pairing as part of our experience and it was hands down the best pairing we’ve ever had out of the dozens we’ve tried. Their som was very patient with her time to describe the history, region, tasting notes that would complement the bite we were about to enjoy. This is a must visit for us upon every future visit to Porto!

Why is there not a separate location for the ** restaurant to the hotel?

Where do I even start? We've visited quite some Michelin starred restaurants and love fine dining, however what we've experienced at The Yeatman was out of this world. From start to finish we were shown to three different locations, from a classy lounge with live piano music, to the heart of the operation, the kitchen, finishing in a large ballroom with a view over Porto. We were spoiled with dishes so soft but yet so full of flavour, with the most unique combinations, and looked like little art pieces on our table. This combined with an impeccible service and the kindest of staff. We can not lie, it isn't cheap, but it is a once in a lifetime experience worth every cent! We usually don't leave reviews this extensive but are so overwhelmed by this experience we wanted to share our love. We we're astonished that the The Yeatman Gastronomic Experience has but two stars... Don't hesitate and just go experience it for yourself.

Petit endroit que je conseille, il s'agit d'un hotel 5 etoile mais il est interessant d'y aller prendre un café ou un verre afin d'admirer la vue.
Le prix est cher mais la vue en vaut la peine :)

On y est arrivé en curieux, sans y loger. Vieille résidence en hauteur de Porto on y respire le luxe et le calme. Grand fauteuils en cuirs, larges baies vitrées, tapis moelleux... on y viendrait!

Une vue magnifique de jour ou de nuit sur Porto, un cadre somptueux pour un confort à l'anglaise. Cadre très agréable même pour un encas avec une bonne bouteille de vin de Porto (très belle carte) à des prix somme toute raisonnable pour le cadre.
