Chaudement recommandé. Comme son nom l’indique, cet ensemble de grand charme, crépi de rose, à deux pas de Sunset, comporte un hôtel et des villas environnantes. Il se présente comme un village, avec ses cours, ses chemins anciens pavés de brique, ses bosquets de bananiers, ses deux piscines, ses pelouses et ses poteries. Les 102 chambres (juniors et normales) sont situées dans le bâtiment principal, mais nous vous conseillons, si vous en avez les moyens, l’une des 40 villas posées dans le vaste et luxuriant jardin, véritables maisons de rêve avec belle cheminée et moquette très épaisse. Le plus important tient à l’esprit du lieu. Une terrasse délicieuse fait face à une piscine, un restaurant tout à fait informel mais très confortable sert une cuisine simple. Recevant la clientèle du show-biz, l’hôtel possède son propre studio d’enregistrement, ce qui est unique à Los Angeles. Il a reçu des groupes comme U2, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Wu Tang Clan…

The grounds of this property are magnificent - somehow managing to be relaxing and exciting at the same time. If not for the occasional sirens it was easy to forget that we were in the middle of a very urban area.
The restaurant has great food and a fun bar. We never stopped in the other bar but it sounded like great fun whenever we walked past.
The house keeping is awesome! Not intrusive and made sure everything looks refreshed when we returned to our room.
It was also nice that there is a town car available to take us short distances.
The only improvement I would suggest is to offer reduced parking rates in the evening so that local friends/family could drive over and visit us.
