De l'extérieur, cet hôtel ne paie pas de mine, et pourtant ! L'hôtel Leifur Eiriksson fait face à l'un des monuments les plus appréciés de la capitale : la spectaculaire église Hallgrímskirkja. Il est installé dans une ancienne maison qui dispose de 47 chambres avec salle de bains privée, radio, TV satellite et téléphone, aménagé en 1993. En plus de sa situation centrale, on apprécie la personnalisation des chambres, avec des tableaux design et du linge de lit coloré en accord avec les teintes selon le type de chambres, et l'accueil du personnel.

One point to note is that some of the rooms aren't in the main (pictured) Hotel and you have to cross the road and go in to an entirely different building. It feels a bit like being a poor relation but it wasn't really an issue.
Another slight disappointment was that the breakfast wasn't great, very basic.
It's a great, reasonably priced b&b though, and we did really like it here!
One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful view of the church from my room. It was truly a picturesque scene that added to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city center, as it is just a short walk away from all the main attractions and restaurants. I appreciated being able to easily access everything I wanted to see and do during my stay.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city center.
