Clean room, great view into a small park, good beds and very good location. And at the Phoenix hotel you can enjoy a good breakfast for £ 7,50 pp

L'hôtel était extrêmement bien situé. À deux pas de deux stations de métro différentes et proches de certaines lignes de bus. C'était calme, le personnel était très gentil. Proche de toutes commodités et de pas mal d'endroits pour se restaurer. Le seul petit bémol était le lit légèrement petit. Sinon, tout était parfait.

So, the rooms were really descent and clean, but what's stopping me for giving 5 stars is the breakfast. It was really not worth what we paid for, since there were only a few options. Overall, the experience was very pleasant!

UNA ESTAFA!!
Pagamos el alojamiento, al llegar se nos dieron tres llaves que ninguna de ellas abría la puerta de la habitación, y estuvimos tirados hasta las 2 de la noche. Nos tuvimos que buscar la vida y encontrar otro sitio. El día siguiente no nos querían devolver el reembolso de nuestra habitación porque decían que nunca hubieron tres llaves y que siempre fueron unas.
No nos han devuelto la fianza de 100 pounds que nos hicieron pagar!

Room is what you pay for, closet sized room for 70 pound a night. My huge issue is the WiFi is nearly non-existent, so if you need a connection you'll struggle

Nos pusieron en una tercera planta sin ascensor, cargando con las maletas.
La cama no era cómoda y la calefacción estaba muy alta.
El tercer día, cuando volvimos por la noche, no teníamos electricidad en la habitación y nos habían apagado la calefacción.
Tuvimos que bajar a la recepción, que está en otro hotel y cuando se lo dijimos al señor de la recepción, nos dijo que no iba a hacer nada, que lo dejaba apuntado para que nos lo solucionaran a la mañana siguiente.
Al día siguiente, nadie nos hizo ningún caso y al dejar el hotel ese mismo día, la señora que había en la recepción no nos pidió perdón hasta que se lo dijimos, otra vez…
Nos dijo que ya nos compensarían por las molestias.
Ha pasado una semana y aun no hemos recibido noticias de ellos.

Beware of booking online! When I tried to book, I thought my room request was unavailable and booking did not complete. I booked a nearby hotel. The second day of my trip I was charged over $200 for a no show! No confirmation email was ever sent. I had nothing showing I had actually booked this hotel. I had to go to the hotel office, which is actually at Phoenix hotel and ask to see if a room was booked in my name. The kind desk clerk confirmed I had booked a room and I had to come back the next morning to ask about the charges. No manager was there to speak to. BEWARE!

Very nice location, but there is no elevator in the hotel, I had two suitcases of 28 kg each that I had to drag myself to the 4th floor. Very small room. And it was dirty... there was hair in the shower, traces of coffee on the saucer.

I was plenty surprised by this hotel.
Positives.
Location minutes walk away from two tube stations but there is also a huge choice of cafes. Pubs restaurants right outside anyway.
Absolutely spotless clean everywhere probably cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in
Friendly staff can't do enough for you.
Powerful hot shower
Comfy beds.
Negatives
Rooms a bit small was only there for a few days so was fine but might be a cramped if u stayed for a week.
Breakfast was advertised as full English but we were actually served continental. It tasted fine but was not we were told.
If ut wasn't for the breakfast I would have given service 5.

They were under heavy construction, and my girlfriend had asthma, we kindly checked out within a 30 min crime frame and they lied and said it was longer and we used the facilities, very shady people and the room was underground with no natural lighting and no Wifi or reception DO NOT GO, id recommend any other local ones.

the room was fine, but you do get what you pay for. tv wasn't working and the shower drained so slowly that I couldn't turn it on all the way. me personally, as a germaphobe, I can't stand carpet especially next to the shower. other than that it was fine. roomservice seemed to have been in a hurry because they accidentally dropped some of my clothing on said carpet, but we're all human.

Despite our room being ready about 45 minutes past check in, this is a clean hotel in a great location. The staff offered little apology or explanation as to why the room was not ready - to us and other guests. It's minutes from two different underground stops and dozens of restaurants. The street the hotel is located on is quiet and quaint with no street noise at night. The room itself was very clean with no odors. The hotel's website says the rooms do not have air conditioning, but to our surprise our room did! The room is small with little amenities, but the cleanliness and location makes up for it (especially for shorter stays).
