Overall it was a lovely experience. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location with great public transport connections via Moorgate and Liverpool Street station.

The room itself was beautiful, we stayed in a Junior suite. Which had a wonderful bath and cosy feel with plenty of space. The mini bar was well stocked and a few additions were kindly placed in our room to celebrate an occasion such as a hand written card. Lovely touch!

However, a few downsides. You can hear the busy streets of London with sirens and music echoing through the room at night. Granted it was a weekend, definitely louder on the Saturday evening. The shower was not to our taste with the open feel. We used far too many towels trying to dry the floor after use. So despite the aesthetic was far less practical. We did have issues with the lighting flickering when in evening mode. So had to make do with using the reading lights and bathroom lighting in the evenings.

Room service was delightful. With great food being served here for breakfast and lunch. Bizarrely, though they don't offer vegan butter at this establishment, despite having a vegan breakfast on the menu. Also, be mindful when you ask for alternative milk (oat or soy) this request seemed to puzzle the staff we asked. Despite there being a card advertising this as part of the service in the room for tea and coffee.

Despite the beautiful rooms. What this hotel really lacks is good service. After a long journey it's always nice to walk into a hotel and feel welcomed. But instead we were greeted by unhappy staff. Who seemed to be giggling and talking amongst themselves at our expense. Too busy to ask if we needed help with our bags. Not the most pleasant check in.

Overall, a good hotel, in a prime location for city links. I'm not sure it quite compares to some other 5* hotels we've stayed in. But certainly could be if more work was put into to staffing and quality. Front of house staff could benefit from more training on 5* star service and how to provide a warm and friendly customer experience.

A chaotic stay. We arrived early and stowed our luggage. We were told we would get a text when the room was ready, no text. Returned at 5:30 anyway and room had been ready for ages. On checkout we were told we would be charged £100 arrived home and was charged over £240 as well as the £125 deposit. On Monday we were then charged £102.01. Not the £100. Called to ask for clarity on the charges were told it’s an error and will be sorted. It’s 4 days later and the £125 charge is still showing. No apologies at any point. Why can’t I check out when I leave instead of all this. Very poor service in a lovely hotel.

I had a great experience with Gregory, the night shift manager, who provided excellent customer service. However, the other manager, Andrea, was incredibly rude and unpleasant. Right from check-in, he was aggressive, and upon check-out, he attempted to add fake charges to my invoice, which I had to have reversed. His behavior also bordered on racism, in my opinion. Additionally, I had to switch rooms due to mold and rust in the tub. Overall, I cannot recommend this place or consider staying here again. It was a disappointing experience and not worth the money I paid.

A stylist boutique hotel with comfortable rooms, quality bathrooms and great catering. Best thing though was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive and professional.

I’ve booked the best room in this hotel. However, they are at nowhere nearby five star hotel, quality and hospitality. The facilities are not at 5-star hotel level. That could be okay as long as the hospitality is at that level but they don’t have such a team. Their team has to be trained and they are not just far from 5-star they are even far from 3-star. Would never recommend it if you are not looking for careless, stubborn team.

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, and to begin with, unfortunately, the first room I was given had stained sheets, which to me looked like blood. They apologised and offered me a new room with a free breakfast, which was appreciated as the food here is amazing, I will get to that. The second room, however, unfortunately had an issue with the shower nossle for the handheld shower head, so the overhead was the only one in use.

The pictures below are what I had ordered for dinner, which was haddock,chips, mushy peas with pardron peppers, and ratatouille, which were all divine, plus the fresh tartar sauce really completed the battered haddock.

Overall, without the issues with the rooms, this hotel gets a 7.5 out of 10. The service is amazing, and the location is again amazing. The food exquisite, but.....the room issues I have faced had stopped this from being a solid 9. out of 10.

Estuvimos durante el puente de diciembre en el hotel. La verdad que la habitación me pareció encantadora y la ubicación para movernos por la ciudad fue inmejorable.

Sin embargo, el servicio y la atención al cliente es pésima. Será un hotel de 5 estrellas pero el trato a los clientes es de 0. La noche de antes de irnos, preguntamos si podíamos hacer el check out ya que la salida iba a ser de madrugada. Nos dijeron que no habría ningún problema. Cuando bajamos a la recepción a las 5 de la mañana, poco más que los dos recepcionistas estaban durmiendo. Solicitamos la factura/recibo y nos dicen que nos lo mandarán por correo electrónico esa misma mañana. Han pasado 10 días y seguimos sin haber recibido nada.

Por supuesto que tampoco son capaces de contestar a ningún correo electrónico de los que les hemos enviado.

Ya, el colmo de los colmos es que nos cobren y además, nos retengan en cuenta un importe superior incluso al de la reserva.

Nice hotel near Liverpool Street station and Moorgate Stations. We visited to attend the Halloween party night that they hosted on their 1st floor.
There were some issues with getting in as they only had one staff member checking tickets with a QR code reader.
However after some time was rectified.
The staff were nice and friendly.
There is a bar and dining area on the ground floor.

Loved my stay here for the weekend, great location but also had the best nights sleep. Bar downstairs had wonderful selection of cocktails for the predrinks before going out the night before. Highly recommend.
