Just a minute across the park from the central train station. Good security: press the door bell and the staff at reception open the sliding door promptly.
We stayed here the night before, and the night after, our trip to Europa Park (Eurostar from London, with a transfer in Paris, direct to Strasbourg).
A smooth check-in except for a minor glitch a few days before with credit card pre-authorisation (may have been a card issuer problem as we were in the UK and the charge authorisation coming from France). Solved by staff over the phone and paying upfront.
We had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the park and station.
Very clean room.
Good climate control during heatwave hitting 29°C outside.
Very good breakfast selection with tasty espresso - it's France; it has to be good coffee!
Our room on the way back was a newly renovated one on the 4th floor but it faced the side street, not the park. It was a nice room too.
Both rooms had very comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was great.
We used their baggage locker to store our luggage whilst we spent the day exploring town. Easy walk into town to see sights including the gorgeous cathedral; or catch the H bus at the train station to get to the EU parliament and nearby Orangie park (all recommended).
Tip: if coming from abroad including uk, pack a short multiple plug extension card so that you can fit an adapter to it and plug all your electronics into your extension's sockets -- the USB chargers are too heavy to stay fitted in the wall sockets with an adapter... as we discovered!

All in all great value for a great stay.

I Needed a hotel on short notice as the variable pricing as I arrived in town meant the usual hotels had raised their prices and rip people off. I called into the Grand and they had a sensible price included breakfast and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are spotless the public areas are fine. Perhaps it’s a little dated in the public areas but the hotel staff member KALID was excellent and had me booked in very quickly. I would use it again certainly. The breakfast choice was extensive indeed and staff on hand to show people where the features were and the coffee machine.

Très bon hotel proche de la gare ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, très spacieuses même pour certaines. La litterie est confortable, tout est propre et calme. Le petit dejeuner est assez varié. Et le personnel très agreable, qui parlent plusieurs langues, car beaucoup de clients non français sont de passages.

Habitaciones amplias, y limpias.
En un sitio inmejorable para estar cerca de todos sitios, y sobre todo del centro.
El desayuno de buffet es amplio y generoso. El personal en general muy amable y atento e intentó ayudarnos con nuestro pequeño conocimiento de idiomas y entendernos con ellos sin problemas

Quel bel hôtel !
J ai eu le plaisir d'apprendre à l'arrivée que j'étais surclassée, j'ai donc pu bénéficier d'une immense chambre, grande douche spacieuse, la literie était top, le double vitrage insonorise totalement du bruit...
Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, il y en a pour tous les goûts et le personnel, vraiment aux petits soins!

Almanya-Fransa seyahatimizde bavullarımız olduğu için garın hemen karşısı diye tercih ettik ve çok memnun kaldık. Kahvaltısı da harikaydı. Temizlik, güleryüzlü çalışanlar ve özellikle Gabriel çok yardımcıydı. Benim için temizlik ve kahvaltı çok önemli. Mutlu ayrıldık.

We spent a great night at Le Grand Hotel, located directly across from the train station. We arrived 3 hours early. We were able to easily secure our luggage in a secure locker in a baggage room. Upon our return 3 hours later, we were offered an upgrade to a very spacious, comfortable suite. After spending 3 weeks in small room spaces, we felt like we won the loto! Delicious, varied breakfast. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Solid 3 star! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Im Rahmen einer politischen Bildungsreise sind wir mit dem Zug nach Straßburg gereist und in diesem Hotel nahe dem Bahnhof untergekommen. Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen: Die Zimmer waren sauber, das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Von unserem Zimmer hatten wir direktem Blick auf den Bahnhof - siehe Fotos. Im Verlauf der Reise nahmen wir auch an einer Stadtführung teil und waren begeistert. Hotel und Stadt können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Strasburg tren istasyonunun tam karşısında eski şehrin hemen yanında mükemmel bir konumda yer alıyor. Strasburg ve Colmar gezisi için geldik, konakladık. Öncelikle otel eski ancak gayet temiz. Oda da ihtiyacınız olan pek çok ekipman ve malzeme mevcut. Wİ-Fİ sorunsuz çalışıyor. Resepsiyon personeli güler yüzlü, ilgili, yardımcı. Öğlen saat 12.00 da gelmemize rağmen hiç bekletmeden üst katta büyük ve ferah bir oda verdiler. Kahvaltı süper değil ama güne başlamak için yeterli ve doyurucu. Ayrıca otelden çıktıktan sonra bagaj saklama ve kilitli dolap hizmetleri harika teşekkür ediyorum. Ancak ilk kez bir otelde odamızda dinlenirken hiç bir şekilde kapımız çalınmadan ve haber verilmeden bir çalışanın aniden kapıyı açıp odanın içine girmesi korkunç bir deneyimdi. Görevliye neden aniden içeri girdiniz niye kapıyı çalmadınız diye sorduğumda özür dilerim deyip hiç bir açıklama yapmadan kapıyı çekti ve gitti. Hemen aşağı resepsiyona indim bize check in yapan çalışana durumu anlattım çok özür diledi ve gereğini yapacağını belirtti. Elbette çok şaşırdık ve üzüldük.

Muito bem localizado, o quarto ótimo é confortável, acessível aos pontos turísticos, com facilidade. As funcionáriaa bem educadas , e exlicaram tudo certinho com uma carta guia da cidade. Só faltou um pequeno frigobar. Pois no caso do meu marido, temos essa necessidade por conta do medicamento que ele toma para diabetes. Mais não tivemos problemas, descia e a funcionária colocava no frigorífico. Depois pegava, sem problemas. O café da manhã bom,

Sehr angenehmes Stadthotel.
Wir haben zwei Nächte im Grand Hôtel verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof – ideal für Bahnreisende. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten sind angenehm fest (im besten Sinne des Wortes), mit bequemen Memory-Schaum-Kopfkissen – wir haben sehr gut geschlafen.

Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas eng und kann zu Stoßzeiten voll werden.

Parken vor dem Hotel ist nicht möglich, aber in der Nähe gibt es ein Parkhaus (Parking Wodli). Am besten fährt man direkt dorthin, stellt das Auto ab und geht dann zu Fuß zum Hotel. Beim Auschecken erhält man eine Rabattkarte, mit der man beim Bezahlen im Parkhaus spart. Wir haben für zwei Nächte nur 31 € bezahlt.

Fazit:
Ein sehr gutes Stadthotel mit fairen Preisen, idealer Lage und toller Ausstattung. Wer Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit und guten Schlaf schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Clean and beautiful hotel. Nicely decorated and not too much. Staff is nice and very helpful. Breakfast is just what's needed with really great products. Rooms are spacious and clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

A perfect location if, like us, you are travelling Europe by train, as the station is just a couple of minutes away, across the square; and the centre of the city is all in walking distance. Our small room was ok for two nights - recently renovated, we were told, with a very good shower in the ensuite. And you can open the windows wide for fresh air. Breakfast was buffet-style, not much hot food choices but plentiful. There's some outside space where you sit and eat, too. The reception staff and cleaners were very pleasant people. The hotel met our needs, which is what we like!

Molto pulito e moderno , peccato che non c' è il bidet. Camera molto spaziosa e silenziosa con una vista mozzafiato.
La colazione è molto curata , abbondante con cibi di qualità.

Einen Stern gibt es für das Personal, weil die sind echt top und freundlich. Der große Pluspunkt. Einen weiteren Stern gibt es für die Lobby und das Frühstück. Gut gemacht und lecker. Der Rest ist leider zum vergessen: sehr alte Zimmer, total abgewohnt und altmodisch. Dringend Renovierungsarbeiten notwendig.
Lage und Sauberkeit waren gut.

En reportage à Strasbourg pour le blog pichonvoyageur.ch, j'ai passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel standard, très bien situé juste en face de la gare. Certaines chambres viennent d'être transformées; ce sont sans doute les meilleures. Lit et literie confortables, petit déjeuner sans surprise, mais suffisant. Accueil souriant. Attention : il faut sonner pour l'ouverture de la porte !

Parking pratique à proximité immédiate, excellent emplacement pour le centre historique, personnel aimable et compétent dans le hall, excellent petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix, chambres propres mais un peu vieilles, excellent rapport qualité-prix.
