The staff were very nice and helpful! Overall, it was a good choice.
I’ve giving this hotel 5 stars for what it is: A funky, no-frills, super charming, fantastic location place to stay for not much money (by San Francisco standards!).
Yes, the rooms are pretty basic, the mattresses a bit worn, and the bathrooms/showers communal, but if you can deal with that you get a bargain hotel in a fantastic location.
The fun decor is what made it for me. Lots of little photos, bookshelves, weird statuettes, and randomly placed couches, give this spot immense charm. It made me smile every time I walked in the door!
The staff was always friendly and helpful, a plus in any spot.
The neighborhood is safe and welcoming, with a few good restaurants (I recommend the Thai spot down the block), and lots more if you walk south east. Be sure to try Pat’s cafe for breakfast and lunch (they don’t do dinner).
Ate at the restaurant once .it was very good. And easy access to many places.ill attach my Google hilight of places I saw or wanted to see while there.
○객실
- 침구 자체는 푹신하고 아늑했다. 침대가 작아서 길이가 180cm에 딱맞는 느낌이었다.
- 2인 기준 매우 좁아 캐리어를 펼치면 돌아다니기 어렵다.
- 세면대가 객실 내부에 있어 편리하다.
- 좁지만 옷장과 서랍장이 있어 수납은 가능하다.
- 천장의 팬 성능이 상당히 좋고 고풍스럽다.
- 히터는 로비에서 대여해준다.
- 방음이 잘 되지 않는다. 대부분의 손님은 조용하지만, 윗층에서 움직일 때 아래층의 천장이 심하게 울려서 아침에 상당히 불편하다.
○공용 공간
- 엘레베이터가 없어서 캐리어를 들고 올라와야 한다. 팁을 제공하면 옮겨주는지는 잘 모르겠음.
- 세면대 공간은 잘 관리되고 비품이 늘 준비되어 있다(면봉/솜/가글/비누/드라이기/휴지)
- 화장실은 깨끗하게 관리되고 있으나 공용이기 때문에 편안한 느낌을 받기는 힘들다. 변기 뚜껑이 없어 물을 내릴 때 불쾌할수도 있다.
- 샤워실은 굉장히 좁다. 타일이 부숴진 곳도 있고, 잠금장치가 녹슬어 힘이 들어가는 곳도 있다.
- 샤워실 수압이 약하고, 샴푸/비누 통이 파손된 곳이 있었다. 파손된 공간으로 물이 들어가 샴푸를 쓰기 어려웠다.
- 욕조 샤워실은 1개 있는데 욕조가 고장나 물이 받아지지 않았다... 욕조도 깨끗하지는 않고 천장에 거미가 살고 있다. 관리되지 않고 버려진 느낌을 지울 수 없다.
- 과거에는 세탁실이 운영되었지만 현재는 세탁서비스가 운영되지 않고 있다.
- 로비 커피머신은 훌륭한 커피를 제공하지만, 시간이 제한되어있다: 아침7시 - 오후 1시로 매우 짧다. 사소한 서비스가 호텔의 만족도를 떨어뜨린다. 오후에는 대부분의 손님이 관광을 나가고 시간제한이 없더라도 관광지 특성상 숙소에서의 커피 소비량은 많아야 2잔일텐데, 서비스의 제한이 호텔을 싸구려로 보이게 한다.
○서비스
- 직원은 모두 친절했다.
- 비품은 요청하면 모두 제공해준다. 수건을 적게 제공해주어 번거로움.(객실이 좁아서 많이 제공하지 않는 듯)
- 짐을 맡길 수 있고 인쇄 가능한 컴퓨터가 있다.
○위치
- 걸어서 피어39까지 10분 내외
- 걸어서 케이블카 정류장 3분 내외
- 밤에는 어둡지만 치안이 걱정되지는 않음
- 숙소 1층에 식당, 근방에 코인세탁소, 식료품점, 카페/식당 다수
The only downside of the locatio is not a good area, was told to park my car away from the hotel. I had to park my car four blocks closer to pier 39 and yet to put it nicely, there were several peeps yelling at random things two cars down, and one looked high af.
Chambres: Elles sont vraiment petite mais elles sont dans l’ambiance de l’hôtel: petit avec pas grand chose mais avec ce qu’il faut et un décor’ à l’ancienne. Il manquait quand même un peu de lumière mais on nous a donné une lumière d’à-point (4.5/5)
Service: Les personnes étaient sympas à l’accueil et ils étaient à l’écoute. Par contre (et c’est pour cette raison que j’ai enlevé une étoile), je comprends pas le principe de faire le ménage vers 8h-8h30. Les femmes de ménages passaient l’aspirateur (donc nous réveillait) toujours vers ces horaires là. Très étrange. Sinon c’était propre, autant les pièces communes que la chambre mais ce point était quand même fâcheux.
Emplacement: Très bien placé et il travaille avec un parking pas très loin. Je vous conseille de mettre votre voiture dans ce genre de parking car SF a quand même la mauvaise réputation des vols dans les voitures (5/5)
Rapport qualité-prix: Bon prix pour cette ville
accueil super, chambres petites mais propres et fonctionnelles. et surtout emplacement idéal au centre de SF
ne pas hésiter!
