A great place to experience New Orleans and The French Quarter and Bourbon Street.

The Hotel St. Marie was the perfect hotel for my husband and I when we visited New Orleans last week. It was so close to Bourbon Street that we could walk in just a minute when we wanted to, but still feel completely separate when on our balcony overlooking the hotel’s peaceful courtyard. The rooms were nice, clean, and the air conditioning and water pressure/temperature worked great, and the amenities on site were extremely convenient. But most importantly, the staff were so kind, considerate, and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Great location. Walking distance to Burbon St. and many other attractions. Everyone we encountered, from checkin, bellhop, and the restaurant staff, were extremely friendly and helpful with providing recommendations.
The lobby was very welcoming. No issues at checkin. There's a beautiful courtyard for relaxing, coffee, or to sit for a drink.
The rooms were very homey and clean, not commercial. We were very comfortable, the entire stay. The only con was there was a gap under the door that let light through and we could hear people coming and going. The rooms are very close together. It wasn't a big deal because once they were in their rooms, we could not hear anything.
We did a lot of sightseeing, being gone all day and came back to a clean room and fresh towels every day.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the last day. We tried to grab breakfast at the hotel Cafe, but service was a bit slow with only one person taking orders, so we went somewhere else. Dinner was excellent, no issues. The catfish poboy was seasoned well and was very good.

Husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Would stay again. Close to Bourbon St., about a block away, and close to French Quarter (a couple blocks) just what we were looking for. The room was nice for an older boutique hotel. The bed was super comfy. The restaurant in the hotel has awesome happy hour appetizer specials if you need a quick bite to eat before a late dinner. The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful when we needed help with area activities.

I’ve stayed here before and had a top floor balcony overlooking the courtyard. Was disappointed to return this time and learn that our top floor room had no balcony. Looks like most rooms on the fifth floor only have windows. Noted for next time. The room darkening curtains let in light from the sides when closed and I’d say the bed was more bouncy than firm.
