Four of us stayed here in June, the whole experience was a joy!|Emmanuel and Stephane, the owners were exceptional, helpful in every way and an absolute mine of information, they added greatly to our experience of Avignon.|Our room was of moderate size but very well equipped, the location of the hotel is excellent, perfect as our Avignon base.|We intend to return to Avignon and will definitely choose the Garlande!

Excellent stay at this very good location small hotel. Close to public parking if you have a car. Our room was very comfortable and despite the fact we were at street level it was very quiet. The breakfast was good . The staff especially the manager was exceptional in terms of being helpful and supportive when we had a car hire issue. The location is very central for shops, restaurants and the historic buildings. Would recommend.

A perfect little hotel when you want to locate centrally within steps of some of the best restaurants rather than along the boulevard of hotels and restaurants leading from the Palace. Our room was comfortable and spacious despite the tight spiral stairway leading up to it. Our host Emmanuelle provided impeccable service -- and breakfasts!

Hôtel bien tenu où nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre au rez de chaussé. Tranquille, confortable, bon petit déjeuner. Pas de frigo dans la chambre. Propriétaires bien présents. Secteur piéton mais restaurants proches. Près stationnement Palais des Papes.

Stunning place to stay due to position in the old town. Feel part of the village!

Take the time to enjoy the hotel breakfast before a day walking and exploring the old streets.
We particularly loved visiting the town market (look for the parking lot on the map) and grabbing lunch and wine for a picnics over the river.

Garlande Hôtel Avignon Centre is amazing. We loved it. The owners and staff are friendly, nice, and professional. They go above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing stay in Avignon. We stayed in one of their apartments, La Madeleine, and it exceeded our expectations. Their breakfasts were the best we had on our entire trip. I definitely recommend. We would stay here again.

Spent 4 nights in early May and was very satisfied. Always quick to respond to questions online. Nice folks, very accommodating, good location. We did not do breakfast but I took a look and it looked good! Merci!!

Loved everything about our stay here. The hotel is so historic and has so much character and charm. The location is great, close to everything and an easy walk to the train station. |The host was incredibly nice and helpful, giving us great suggestions for things to visit. The only downside is the spiral staircase leading up to the rooms, although it’s not a surprise as the hotel makes sure you understand there is no lift before you book. It is a bit of a challenge though, even without carrying luggage. You know it’s a steep staircase when the handrail is completely vertical! But it also ads to the character of the historic hotel.

Great little hotel in the heart of Avignon. All good reviews are well justified, Everything very walkable. Really no cars are even possible. Stefan and his wife Emmanuelle were awesome. My wife and I loved interacting with them. Great petit dejeuner prepared by Emmanuelle. They set us up with awesome dinner reservations (Le Joat and Le Chatelier Toque). Our room on ground floor was small(typical) but very comfortable. Great value. We had just spent three nights at the over the top Hotel Negresco in Nice. It was also awesome but on a completely different monetary level. Avignon is a beautiful old walled city to spend a few days. Great Provence home base to venture out from. The Hotel Garlande is that perfect home base. It was parfait for us for three nights before heading out on the next southern France adventure. Merci and au revoir Stefan and Emmanuelle. Emanuelle and her husband, Stefan are the proprietors and were exceptionally welcoming and helpful in making our stay in Avignon to be memorable and outstanding. The rooms were comfortable, reasonably priced, quiet, and perfectly located for access to all of Avignon. This hotel is a must stay when you are traveling to Avignon !

We hebben vier nachten in het appartement madeleine gelogeerd. Perfect voor een famile van vier. Op 30m van het hotel zelf, volop in het centrum, dichtbij het Pausenpaleis. Mooi appartement, leuk terras, twee ruime slaapkamers, goeie bedden, alles netjes en proper. Vriendelijk ontvangst en alle nodige informatie. Een aanrader !

The host Stephan was very kind and helpful and gave us great information and tips for all our trip in Provence.
Breakfast was also very delicious and all pastries were made by Stephan’s wife.

Accueil extraordinaire et explications fluide, chambre impeccable et très propre, tout était parfait jusqu’au succulent petit déjeuner.|L’hôtel est très bien situé en pleine ville avec facilité de déplacement car proche de tout ( gare, magasins,restaurants.) |Ce séjour fut très agréable

Un petit hôtel bien situé dans Avignon où tout à été parfait durant notre séjour. Un personnel extrêmement gentil et accueillant, une chambre d'une propreté impeccable et avec tout le nécessaire à disposition, et avec une salle de bain assez grande. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner mais celui-ci est fait maison. C'est aussi très calme le matin, parfait pour ceux qui veulent dormir.

Ich habe hier sehr schöne Tage erlebt. Das Hotel ist zu Fuß gut vom Bahnhof (Centrale) zu erreichen. In der umliegenden Altstadt gibt es unzählige Café, Bars und Restaurants. Das Paar, welches das Haus betreibt, ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf ihre Empfehlung habe ich bspw. den sehenswerten Markt in L'isle sur sorgue entdeckt. Mein Zimmer war sauber, passend möbliert und hatte eine angenehme Größe. Fazit: Für einen Städtetrip die passende Unterkunft.

De taille humaine dans un cadre authentique et tout prêt du centre .
Un accueil chaleureux et prévenant et un petit déjeuner fait maison de qualité.
Attention cependant car la maison qui a de l’histoire n’a pas d'ascenseur …

Nouveau séjour à Avignon. Le petit déjeuner est toujours fabuleux (mieux que dans certains ****) dans des chambres re-designées. Le nouveau petit salon d´accueil est ????????. Bref, un emplacement exceptionnel au cœur de l´intra-muros avec l´accueil d´Emmanuelle et la disponibilité de Stéphane qui font mieux que certains concierges de palaces.

Hôtel très bien placé, personnel agréable, souriant, serviable aux petits soins pour les clients. Petit déjeuners copieux, fait maison !!!! Très bon. Chambre propre est spacieuse. À proximité du palais des papes et bien d'autres belles choses à visiter. Restaurants à proximité très bien. Nous recommandons.

Nice small hotel in the city with lovely owner. Very quiet although it's in the middle of the city center. And the best breakfast we ever had in a hotel! Everything home made.
The only downside was that the room looked less fancy than what was expected based on the website, but still quite nice.
