I was traveling with a friend who had luxury watches and cash stolen directly from his locked hotel room at Hotel Sezz. The worst part? He wasn’t the only one. Other guests had money stolen from two separate rooms just the day before — by the same hotel employee.
The hotel knew exactly who did it, thanks to key card logs and surveillance — but still let him work with master key access. And during the theft? The cameras were mysteriously turned off for 10 minutes. What kind of hotel disables its own security cameras during high season?
The thief was arrested at the hotel, yet management continues to hide behind their insurance instead of doing the right thing and compensating the victims.
Hotel Sezz failed to protect its guests, failed to act when they had clear warning signs, and failed to take responsibility when it mattered most.
No one should risk staying here.

I was at Hotel Sezz with a friend when his luxury watches were stolen from his locked room and suitcase, even with the Do Not Disturb sign on. It was quickly confirmed by the hotel that the thief was one of their employees, caught by key card records and internal footage.
Even more disturbing: we found out this same staff member had stolen cash from two other guests just the day before — from two separate rooms! And yet the hotel still allowed him to keep working with full access to all guest rooms via a master key.
Security cameras were conveniently turned off for exactly 10 minutes — the window during which the theft occurred.
The employee was arrested at the property, yet the hotel continues to deny responsibility and offer no compensation, just excuses about insurance.

This is not a 5-star experience — it’s a 5-star disaster. Avoid at all costs.

Room was excellent and the staff were all very kind and attentive. The shuttle to get around St Tropez was incredibly helpful. The concierge team is world class and Maxime helped us get some exclusive reservations at restaurants and beach clubs that made for a truly memorable trip! Without his help, there was no way we could have got those reservations.

Hôtel magnifique avec une immense piscine ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et le petit déjeuner est juste incroyable. Nous venons tous les ans et c’est toujours avec grand plaisir, merci encore à Yannick et Maxime pour leurs prévenance et gentillesse toujours aux petits soins. La navette à disposition pour aller en centre ville c’est vraiment un plus. |Nous avons déjà hâte d’y retourner

Great luxury hotel which offers a quiet retreat from the nearby town and beaches. Staff were very friendly and the shuttle service (for no additional cost) was very convenient. The shuttle service offers rides to either town or the nearby beaches. Would highly recommend for couples!

Extremely accommodating staff, everyone was lovely. Room was amazing, clean and tidy. The food and drinks were fabulous, the pool and the location couldn’t have been better, it made our stay that much better. Lastly the recommendations from the concierge were amazing. They planned the whole trip and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Couldn’t recommend a better place!

Not your usual St Tropez chic. This hotel has screaming kids dominating the pool all day long. To be avoided by anyone looking for sophistication. This is not the peaceful oasis advertised. Disappointing gym area positioned on a small outdoor platform squeezed between two rooms. Breakfasts look good at face value but ingredients and service are terrible. Many wait staff do not understand English. I have been multiple times and hotel is not what it used to be. Definitely choose another hotel like La Bastide or Arev. I don’t plan to come back.

I am compelled to respond once again, as your recent reply was not only disappointing but also deeply misleading.
First, there is absolutely no exaggeration or lack of accuracy in what I wrote — everything was a precise account of what we experienced during our stay.
You claim to have reimbursed us for the Uber ride, which is simply false. To this day, we have received no refund. On top of that, you wrote to my husband suggesting he demanded a full refund for the stay — another fabrication. When we were asked what type of compensation we expected, we clearly stated that **we would not dictate that**, but that we expected a fair and meaningful gesture given the distress we experienced. **At no point did we demand a specific form of compensation.** Please stick to the facts — and for the record, we filmed the conversation with Sebastian. So we strongly advise you to avoid bending the truth.
Regarding the so-called "upgrade" you provided — that was your decision alone. It amounted to a welcome glass of champagne and a room that looked nearly identical to the one we originally booked. That gesture does not even begin to make up for the poor service we received.
Bringing a gardener to work right outside our private terrace on the **morning of checkout** and informing us with a casual note in the room is not only inappropriate — it's insulting. Maintenance should be done **when rooms are unoccupied**, not when guests are still paying to enjoy their final hours in peace.
The jacuzzi felt more like a cold swimming pool. Perhaps the temperature meets regulations, but it was not comfortable or relaxing — and even your own staff member acknowledged this at the time.
Throughout our stay, we voiced our concerns politely and respectfully, despite the fact that the **level of service was among the worst I have ever encountered.**
After being left waiting for 90 minutes and having to return at our own expense, we still haven’t seen a refund. And now, to add insult to injury, you are asking my husband to send you proof of a receipt? That is frankly embarrassing.
Even a quick look at your responses to other low-rated reviews reveals a pattern — your customer service is laughable. One of your **own staff members even took the time to leave a negative review** about your hotel. What does that say?
I will not continue with this ridiculous back-and-forth. You should seriously reflect on the way you handle guest relations. Yes, your rating might be high *for now*, but with only about 70 reviews, that can change very quickly — especially if you continue to ignore real feedback instead of learning from it.

We stayed at Hotel Sezz to celebrate our honeymoon and a birthday, expecting a luxurious and peaceful experience. Instead, we encountered repeated service failures, poor communication, and a lack of accountability.
* The jacuzzi was cold and unusable despite staff acknowledging the issue. It was never fixed.
* Shuttle service was completely unreliable—we were left waiting over 90 minutes and ended up having to pay for an Uber ourselves.
* When we returned to the hotel after this ordeal, there was **no one at the reception desk at all for several minutes** (er have a video), adding to our feeling of being abandoned.
* Communication was inconsistent and often unresponsive, including the WhatsApp guest line.
* Our room had multiple issues: broken curtain, non-functioning safe, and no water bottles provided when requested.
* On our final night, we received an impersonal message that gardening would take place right outside our private terrace the next morning—clearly inappropriate timing and communication.
* Worst of all was the dismissive and defensive attitude of several staff members, including the assistant manager, who seemed more focused on proving us wrong than actually helping.
We sent a detailed letter to management outlining all of these issues, but received only a generic reply offering a vague future discount—completely inappropriate given the occasion and level of service failure.
This stay was meant to be special. Instead, it was frustrating and disappointing. Definitely not recommended.

Très bel hôtel contemporain à dimension humaine !|Nous avons adoré la chambre spacieuse et d’une propreté irréprochable !|Nous avons apprécié la préparation pour la nuit avec une petite attention chaque soir!|Même avec 20 degrés extérieur la piscine est à 28 degrés ????????|Ce que nous avons testé de la table et du petit déjeuner, était délicieux … frais … préparé à la minute ! Nous n’avons pas profité de la table gastronomique …||Ce qui ajoute au « luxe » de l’endroit c’est que plusieurs mini van sont mis à votre disposition pour vous déposer au cœur de saint Tropez ou ailleurs (fini la galère du parking) !|Maxime, le concierge saura vous faire de belles reco pour les plages et restaurants, en fonction de vos goûts ! Nous avons fait un break de 4 jours absolument parfait …|Bravo à toutes les équipes

I will give sezz 5 stars, primarily for the excellent food! If you value high quality ingredients and just plain good cooking, go here. Rooms are okay, good. The pool is nice. Location close to the beach (by walking). Ideal for a couple days to relax and wind down.

This is the 6th time I have stayed here and the staff and management have continued to maintain the high standard service and luxury. The concierge team went to great lengths to make sure they recommended the best beach clubs. The bar food and relaxed atmosphere helped us get away from the stresses of life. Great squid and pigeon dishes in the main restaurant. We also asked for a simple roast fish which they got from the market that morning especially for us. Thank you all.

Perfect weekend spent at this lovely hotel during Les voiles. Yannick and Maxime are the most knowledgeable and helpful concierge, all staff is attentive and friendly, our room was spacious and very clean, we loved the outside shower. My boyfriend who’s very hard to please was very impressed by the level of service and quality. A special thank you to the wonderful manageress Angelique for leaving such a thoughtful gift in our room for our anniversary, we will definitely be back soon.

Filthy dirty bedroom with dead insects, cob webs and unclean floor. Cold food served at breakfast on two days. Long delays for tea and coffee only to be served luke warm. Pool service very slow. Pool food tasteless and expensive offering no value. Cocktails disappointing. Transportation organised by hotel was a sweat box with non functioning air conditioning. My wife asked to meet with Angelique (manageress) who refused to meet at any part of our final day and was totally disinterested and unprofessional. Far better hotels to stay in St. Tropez that are stylish, clean and quality. Disastrous and disappointing stay at Sezz Hotel.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous 5 night stay at Hotel Sezz in July. It was our first time in St Tropez and the concierge team, Yannick and Maxime, are phenomenal! Their professionalism, knowledge of the region, and warmth made them a pleasure to work with and they helped us develop the perfect itinerary for our likes and interests. The hotel is minutes drive from the beach and center of town. The pool area is luxurious and relaxing, and rooms are spacious and modern. Will definitely return.

Es war für uns bereits das 4. Mal, dass wir zurück in’s SEZZ kommen. Bereits bei der Vorfahrt wurden wir begrüsst mit « ab jetzt sind sie « eingeladen » , sie müssen sich um nichts mehr kümmern » Genau so wird man in diesem Haus behandelt. Ein super Service von A-Z!! Beim super feinen Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal angefangen , über die seit Jahren fixen Concierges Yannick und Maxim (Ihr Zwei seit echt der Hammer!!!) über die Valet Parkers und Shuttle Fahrers bis zu den Zimmermädchen, für uns ein Paradies!! Herzlichen Dank und wir kommen sicher wieder!! Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz

In general, our experience at the resort was positive, but the Wi-Fi left much to be desired. Despite our repeated requests for assistance, the Wi-Fi quality was similar to that of an airplane. It’s surprising why a luxury resort like this couldn’t resolve such a minor issue, and we found it frustrating to have to bring it up every time. In the end, I resorted to getting internet from a local company.

Les chambres sont agréables, les salles de bains spacieuses et la douche extérieure est un petit plus.
Un cadre idéal pour se détendre et passer de bons moments sur Saint-Tropez

By far best hotel we stayed in at st Tropez! Staff . Friendly staff , great location and they have shuttle service which is quite convenient for the beach or town in the evening. Highly recommend . Thank you Sezz Team for such a great stay .
