Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Die Preise ortsüblich hoch. Das Service ist sehr gut. Gesamthaft eine Empfehlung.

Isolation between bedrooms is really bad..there is nothing walkable around the hotel, maybe that's why they charge ridiculous prices, 39€ a basic cheeseburger, mojito 20€.
I only stayed there a night visit friends, that was enough.

This was our second time here. This is a truly superb hotel. The personnel is super attentive and the athmosphere is sophisticated, but still relaxed. This kind of service is rare these days. The rooms are nice, all the facilities in good shape and the spa is a heaven. Not for party people, but for those who look for class and style. Thank you, we will be back.

Unbelievable experience. The staff is so nice and helpful, the restaurants are so so good, the grounds and location are so beautiful, the kid friendliness was perfect for our family, the gym/spa so perfect. Honestly the price/value is insane, especially in the area. Will definitely come back.

Superb welcome from the reception staff who were very helpful assisting us with reservations for lunches / dinner.||Pool area is very well maintained and serviced.|Cushioned loungers and the pool is heated to a prefect temperature.||Grounds very well maintained.||Hotel restaurant and beach restaurant are both very good ( albeit expensive although typical for the area ).||Room was very well maintained and the layout was perfect.||Really we could not fault the property or the staff apart from one small comment which would be at breakfast the pastries were kept outside uncovered which is not ideal.

The hotel was recommended to us by friends, and we were really looking forward to it. My husband and I travel a lot around the world and always stay in very nice, unique hotels. Upon our arrival, we were very disappointed with the hotel; everything seemed devoid of character and leadership. Furthermore, we found the suite, which had a beautiful view, to be very worn and not up-to-date in terms of furnishings...it lacked attention to detail. Even the pictures and the mirror behind the television were hanging crooked. Furthermore, the carpet in the stairwell, on the steps, and in our room was very worn. We had the feeling that nothing had been done to this expensive hotel in decades, and that there was no hotel manager who truly cared about its guests. The staff was visibly overwhelmed and insecure. While I was working on my computer in the lounge area, they were vacuuming around me. During breakfast, no one came to ask if we wanted anything else or to clear away the used dishes. We would definitely never come again and are very surprised that this is supposed to be a Relais Chateaux Hotel.

Hôtel très bien tenu avec un personnel à l'écoute et très sympathique||Restaurant gastronomique mérite largement le déplacement.||Je recommande cet hôtel idéalement placé.

Une très belle adresse.Lieu idéal pour se ressourcer, l'endroit est magnifique, l'odeur du jasmin au petit déjeuner, tout est fait pour oublier le quotidien. Le service est très professionnel mais pas guindé, un merci tout spécial à Heiva, une jeune fille adorable.La chambre que nous avons est immense avec de nombreux rangements, ce qui est rarement le cas. De plus le ménage est vraiment impeccable.

Such a wonderful experience. The location, ambience, and food were all incredible. My waiter was so helpful. The food was not only tasty but also works of art. I look forward to returning when visiting France. The chef is magnificent and can’t wait to try new masterpieces

Enttäuschender erster Eindruck – unfreundlicher Empfang||Wir sind beim Vorbeifahren auf das Hotel aufmerksam geworden – die Schlossanlage mit dem palmenumsäumten Weg zwischen den Gebäuden ist wirklich beeindruckend. Leider wurde dieser positive Eindruck sofort durch den Umgangston vor Ort getrübt: Als wir höflich um Informationen baten, wurden wir sehr herablassend behandelt und mit dem knappen Hinweis „Schauen Sie online“ abgewimmelt.||Ein so kühler und desinteressierter Empfang ist für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie völlig unangebracht und lässt wenig Gastfreundschaft erkennen. Schade – bei einem so schönen Ort hätten wir deutlich mehr Herzlichkeit erwartet.

Nous avons eu la chance de passer trois nuits au Château de Valmer, dans la cabane des Écureuils, et ce séjour a été tout simplement inoubliable. Tout était parfait : l’accueil chaleureux, les attentions délicates du personnel, le bistrot, le restaurant La Palmeraie, le petit déjeuner, le spa… Nous avons pu profiter de toutes les installations dans des conditions idéales.||||Ce séjour avait une signification particulière pour nous, car j’avais prévu d’y faire ma demande en mariage. Grâce à l’extraordinaire gentillesse et au professionnalisme des équipes, j’ai pu vivre ce moment exactement comme je l’avais imaginé. Tout a été mis en œuvre pour rendre cet instant magique, et nous en garderons un souvenir précieux.||||Le Château de Valmer est désormais un lieu symbolique pour nous. Nous avons déjà prévu d’y revenir pour célébrer nos anniversaires de mariage et avons hâte de pouvoir, un jour, faire découvrir à nos enfants l’endroit où papa a demandé la main de maman.||||Un immense merci à toutes les équipes pour avoir contribué à rendre ce séjour inoubliable. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Considering this is a self producing 5* chateau and winery, we were expecting something special and to be honest, something more welcoming. We didnt feel a hospitality. We have travelled a few places in the world and we all agreed that this kind of service should not be rated as 5*.

We had a really lovely stay. My wife’s favorite Relais property from the dozen we stayed at. The gardens are very peaceful, path to beach is clutch, and service was top notch. Not sure why people complaining about the service, everyone we encountered was kind , smiling , and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We were treated well from our arrival to our departure. The grounds are lovely. The outdoor and indoor pool are well maintained. The walk to the beach through the vineyard is something to remember. The beach club loungers were very good and the attendants were always there to help. Dinner at La Pinede Plage was very good with a view on the beach. I would return again and I want to thank everyone who helped us during our stay.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and two children (aged 7 and 9) in a family suite for just under one week during September 2024.||The first thing I would point out is that the family suite we stayed in was two storeys; I hadn't known this in advance. Therefore if mobility is of concern, be sure to check in advance whether your desired suite is split over two levels or not.||Our suite was very impressive and importantly, had enough space for the four of us to store our clothes. In theory, this suite could host 6 people, and it has three bedrooms! However, I note there is only one fairly small bathroom, which might make hosting 6 people tricky. As a family of four, we were extremely happy.||Location||The location is lovely. This chateau is set among vinyards and is approximately a 1km walk from Plage Gigaro, the beach. When we were there the wind was quite strong and was whipping up significant waves. The water is somewhat cold but pleasant.||This is not, in my opinion, a particularly paedestrian-friendly area, with winding roads and cars whose drivers make, at times, choices that are arguably sub-optimal. Nevertheless, it is "possible" to walk around, and to bike around, however we found the roads to be narrow and I would not risk it with young children. Note there are not many restaurants or attractions in the immediate vicinity of this hotel - just the beach and a couple of beach restaurants.||Eating||I mention the food due to the lack of restaurants in the area. There is a formal restaurant, a casual restaurant, and the "sister" restaurant, the beach restaurant. The beach restaurant is expensive by almost anyone's standards, with the bistro being the most reasonable option on offer. All food was of an extremely high quality.||Rooms||Our suite was lovely and immaculately clean. The minibar was a bit lacklustre and lacked stock - just some small bottles of soft drink and water. No snacks. The three bedrooms were a real luxury for us, and we were very happy. As advertised there is no kitchenette. There are two balconies (small). A drying rack could improve the amenity of the room.||A laundry service (albeit expensive, per piece) is available, however it was so pricey for a family of four that I washed some items by hand and dried them (no drying rack available, not even for wet bathers). ||The circuitry in our room was idiosyncratic, and to charge our phones next to our bed, we would have to leave the bedside light/s on (one circuit). This meant charging our phones far away from the bedroom. ||Spa||The spa is lovely and I highly recommend it, with pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna, in addition to the many lovely services on offer. You can relax outdoors if weather permits (there are various sunlounges outdoors).||Activities||As mentioned, you may find that a car is helpful. We certainly did. The hotel was very helpful to us by booking a boat cruise and some horse riding. ||Service||The service is second to none and the staff go above and beyond to assist you. Their English is great, which really helped us as Australians. It is really the service, the food and the cleanliness (plus three bedrooms!) that lead me to say I would recommend this hotel to a friend! ||I hope this information helps you :)

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans votre hôtel, nous sommes heureux de l'avoir découvert entre les installations superbes, les jardins, la plage et la mer à côté, les navettes qui nous emmènent dans les restaurants aux alentours, l'accueil pour notre petit chien, le petit-déjeuner tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir
