This is THE find in Marseille. Excellent location in thePanier quarter, one block from a friendly square filled with terraces, spacious suites, and very nice host, Florian, who makes sure your stay is a positive experience. We will stay there every time we go back to Marseille.

Great location for restaurants. Lots of stairs in the alleyway to access front door. Five flights of stairs inside the building to reach apartments. The pictures of the rooms on the website date back to the opening in 2007. The reviews I have read are years out of date. The settees are now well worn. The king size bed is good, so is the shower. The crockery and glassware are well used . The refrigerator when set on max hardly cools liquids. The French windows in the kitchen are draped with an old thin curtain. The view is on to a barren courtyard which appears to be used by an institution for break purposes where people smoke and chatter. To the left of this is an infants school where Children play and scream during breaktimes. There are two communal washing machines and drying facilities half way down the stairs outside the apartment. The apartments are managed by the owner's son who was obliging but very prone to changing his mind when the cleaner intervened. Beware! There are better alternatives for holiday accommodation at these price.

Mooie grote studio. Geen hotel.
Jammer dat er geen buiten plekje is, bv. terras/ balkon/ gemeenschappelijke tuin. In de zomer, wanneer het erg warm is, misten we dit een beetje.

Rustig. Geen straatlawaai. Voldoende keuken. Sanitair prima. Bed ook. Proper. Bezoek aan de stad: alles te voet.

Une résidence exceptionnelle en plein cœur du Panier. D'abord l'endroit est magnifique, super bien rénové avec de très beaux volumes et une déco design et soignée. Nous avions l'appartement 8 au 2ème étage très spacieux (52 m²) et confortable tant au niveau de la literie (excellente) que du coin cuisine (très bien équipé) ou de la salle de bain (douche au top). Clim efficace et silencieuse, calme absolu (comme son nom l'indique, c'est un ancien couvent et l'isolation des fenêtres est parfaite). Et l'emplacement est nickel, près du Vieux Port et des stations de bus et de métro ainsi que des restos de la place de Lenche. Le tout pour un prix très raisonnable en plein cœur du mois d'août. Ma femme et moi avons halluciné d'un tel rapport qualité-prix.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Couvent in Marseille. It was conveniently located in Le Panier with easy access to Vieux Port, metro, and other parts of the city. The property is beautiful with comfortable beds and a large shower. There was a small kitchen for those who want to prepare meals. Be prepared to walk up some steps though as there is no elevator. I would stay here again.

Tout était parfait la localisation, le logement, un accueil de grande qualité et une disponibilité sans faille de la propriétaire ????. L'endroit idéal pour visiter Marseille tout en étant au calme et dans un quartier où il fait bon flâner ????
