Das Hotel ist eigentlich sehr schön, speziell und mit wunderbarem grünen Garten. Der Spa-Bereich kann privat gemietet werden. Auf der Tarifliste steht jedoch nicht, dass der angegebene Tarif dann pro Person berechnet wird. Wir fühlten uns schlussendlich etwas abgezockt.

Camere bellissime curate nel dettaglio , tutto in sintonia con l architettura e la struttura dell epoca . Il servizio e la disponibilita' del personale ottima . Il giardino nel mezzo e la cura del dettaglio impeccabile . Uno dei migliori boutique hotel dove sono stato . Consigliato per rilassarsi . Colazione molto bene

The hotel has lots of character, is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the old town and a ten minute walk to the train station.||There is an unheated swimming pool in the grounds as well as seats in the grounds.||We stayed in The Chapel, which is on the ground floor with a garden terrace and is next door to the spa. This is a room to be avoided. When you go into the room there is a separate area with a cupboard and an image of the virgin Mary with a kneeler in front of it. Two of the light bulbs in the chandelier were broken so there was very little light in the area. However it does have a door leading to the garden, so during the day it is possible to open this and throw light into this area. This is the only area where you can open your suitcase or hang your clothes. However the cupbard with the rail is not full length so, particularly for women, there is nowhere to full hang your clothes . The cupboard also smelt slightly damp. The floor is flagstones, which were very cold.||From this side chapel, you move into the bedroom. This has a double bed that virtually reaches to the patio doors that lead to the garden terrace. You need to be pretty slim to walk around the bed with the garden doors shut. Again the floor is flag stones which were very cold for the entirety of our stay.||The bed was very soft and dipped in the middle. When we first got into it felt very cold and slightly damp, as if it hadn't been used for some time. The pillows have embroidered on them Luxury Hotel. Any hotel that needs to keep reminding you that it is a 'luxury hotel', probably isn't (as this wasn't).||In the bedroom there wasn't anywhere to put or hang your clothes.||There wasn't a room fridge and the safe was small and not secured, so a thief would have had no problem simply picking it up and taking it away. In the bedroom there was a solitary small bottle of water, which was 10 Euros if you consumed it. ||The bathroom was very basic. A shower with two taps so you had to mix the water each time before you got into it. The two shower doors did not meet so there was a gap in between. There was no where either here or in the bedroom to hang or dry your towels. There is a large armoire where slippers, dressing gowns and towels can be found. The towels did not feel dry when we took them out from there. There is no shaver point/tooth brush charging point in the bathroom (or in the bedroom). The floor was again very cold flagstones. There was also no space to put your things - make up, deodrant, etc in the bathroom.||The bedroom was cold at night and there was no means to heat it. There is a large air-conditioning unit, but only for making the room colder.||At night we could hear the trains running.||It was nice to have the garden terrace, however on the second day a large car parked outside, people got out and could clearly see straight into our room. The car was parked there for the remainder of our stay.||It isn't possible to book a rate including breakfast. It is worth noting the continental breakfast is available at 28 Euros per person, however you need to decide the night before if you require it. The first night when I was unsure whether we wanted it and wanted to check with my wife, a member of staff escorted me to wife to get a decision. The evening of our second night we received a call after 10pm to ask whether we were going to have breakfast. Fotunately we hadn't gone to sleep by then. We didn't breakfast at the hotel and there are plenty of places in the old town that serve a good breakfast at a reasonable rate.||When you leave the hotel, you need to press the buzzer on the hotel gate to be let back in. The reception will then remotely unlock the gate. All the keys are laid on a chair next to reception, which is often unmanned. On one occasion I was handed the wrong key and only realised when I got to my room. On another there wasn't anyone at reception, so I picked my key up from the chair, obviously have the choice of practically every room's/suites's keys. This did not make me feel very secure about who had access to my room.||Overall we would have liked to have checked out after the first night, but knew we would be liable for the second night so we ended up staying. On neither night did we have a good night's sleep.||The Jardins Secrets is a quirky hotel, with a lot of bracante on display, much of it for sale. We may have been unlucky with the room that we were allocated, but by all means stay there, just recognise some of the issues with it.

Incroyable endroit hors du temps où nous avons séjourné lors d’un passage à Nîmes. Personnel charmant, maison et jardins fantastiques, décoration incroyable, tout est réuni pour passer un bon moment loin des tumultes du centre ville toutefois suffisamment proche pour y aller à pieds.|Un petit bémol quand même, une sur facturation de 10€ pour avoir demandé un œuf à la coque en plus du petit déjeuner proposé.|Passé cette petite déconvenue, je recommande sans réserve les jardins secrets et y reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

I’m absolutely in love with this place. This hotel has a soul — full of charm, elegance, and character. Every corner tells a story, with thoughtfully curated antiques and refined taste. I must have taken hundreds of photos — the details are simply mesmerizing. It’s a true embodiment of the French spirit, authentic and full of atmosphere. A magical experience. Highly, highly recommend.

Nous recommandons vivement cette hôtel de charme, discrètement logé dans un joli parc de verdure à proximité du centre-ville de Nîmes. En passant à côté, personne ne se douterait de l’existence de cette oasis reposante et vivifiante à quelques pas du centre-ville. Un service parfait, et le terme n’est pas galvaudé : un personnel aux petits soins pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable.

I booked Jardin Secrets as a special treat for myself and my boyfriend for New Year’s Eve, I found it on Mr and Mrs Smith which is usually reliable in terms of a certain level of service.

It is a beautiful building and I’m sure lovely in summer but unfortunately in winter it just felt a bit like a drafty old house.

We booked a jnr suite which was barely bigger than a regular room in most hotels, the heating in half the hotel was off and therefore unusable which was a real shame and took away any magic that might have been there. Since there were only 2 rooms occupied when we arrived and half the heating was off there was an issue with the hot water so using the lovely bath in the room also because a chore of going back and forth to reception.

Everything was charged as extra (i have never stayed in a 5* hotel boutique or not that charges for the spa facilities) we ended up just feeling ripped off rather than looked after as you would expect from somewhere charging €500 a night.

I’d come straight from being away for work and wasn’t able to make plans for New Year’s Eve before arriving, when I asked the man that served us the first night for suggestions I was told to try google or Facebook which literally blew my mind - zero local knowledge.

Overall a very disappointing experience.

A spectacularly beautiful establishment full of charm and curated antiques. We loved our stay at Jardins Secrets, it is indeed a unique and special place for pure relaxation at the heart of Nîmes. We are a family of four with a little doggie and initially booked the family room but the charming Victoria who greeted us at reception advised that since we had 2 adult daughters it would be more comfortable to have 2 separate suites. The girls had the chambre mademoiselle and they absolutely adored it. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with period style furniture which reflected the soul of the old Coach house. The owners have done an amazing job of decorating each piece and public spaces (there are about 5) beautifully curated and styled public spaces including the bar and 14 unique and absolutely stunning gorgeously decorated rooms. It was like being in a fairy tale, the gardens and inner courtyard merited to be called secret garden as it had a stunning pool, with lovely plants and birdsong accompanying one, when you sat outside. I would have like to keep this place a secret as it was indeed a beautiful discovery. My daughters have traveled the world with us, be it in Asia, Africa, Europe and the US, stayed in luxurious accommodations but the Jardins Secrets was one of the best hotels in the world by far. The hotel manager Victoria is a real gem, her warmth and hospitality coupled with her kindness and enthusiasm made our stay memorable and wonderful. Victoria is a real star and asset to this establishment. Breakfast was served in the lovely garden and on a rainy day in the antique kitchen, we even had candlelight for breakfast service indeed a treat. One night on our return from dinner in Nîmes, the whole place was lit with candles and the perfume scented spaces were outer worldly. We were not surprised that a slew of celebrities had stayed here for its serenity and anonymity that a 14 bedroom luxury mansion could only offer in comparison to chain 5 star hotels. Names like Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Sting, Billy Halliday, Phil Collins were whispered amongst many other guest of great but discerning taste. An exceptional elegant and exquisitely crafted establishment.

Super charmantes Hotel mit herrlichen Zimmern und ganz viel Platz. Die Betten sind hervorragend, sowie auch das Frühstück im Garten. Die Gastfreundschaft des Hausherrn und seinen Angestellten sehr zuvorkommend und persönlich. Wir suchten etwas Besonderes und nicht Alltägliches, etwas mit Charakter und Charme, und haben es dort 100% gefunden. Der Hotel Namen verspricht nicht zu viel.

Absolutely deserves the 5 stars. Unique boutique hotel with a personal approach and massive attention to detail. It is history made modern and comfortable. The rooms are large and spacious, and every common area is an art. Yes, many items are everywhere so that it can be challenging with kids. The staff is accommodating and polite, and at the same time, they are natural and casual. Victoria is the primary driver and ensures that every guest has everything needed at all times.

Un hôtel a coupé le souffle, un voyage dans le passé dans un Jardín luxurieux, maison bourgeoise d’antan qui a conservé tout sont charme d’époque avec un service élégant et agréable. Piscine et sympas à la romaine. Les chambres vastes avec une hauteur sous le plafond vous laisse flâner avec liberté et nager dans les grands lits qui sont d’un confort exceptionnel à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte lors des visites de Nîmes et de ces Arènes

If Madame Pompadour ran a hotel this would be it. Red velvet curtains, candles, chandeliers and charming hosts.

Für alle die gerne aussergewöhnliche schöne Einrichtung schätzen. Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal da (innerhalb von 10 Jahren). Die Zimmer und auch das Haus sind gepflegt und werden wahrscheinlich von Zeit zu Zeit rundum erneuert, sonst würde man das sehen.

Très bel établissement, les 5 ÉTOILES sont à la hauteur du séjour.||Petit bémol, les toilettes de la chambre ont été signalé, car dysfonctionnement de la chasse d'eau. ||Personnel attentionné et disponible.||Endroit qui réserve bien des surprises et découvertes...||A tester en couple ou ami es...famille.||Petit déjeuner copieux et confitures maisons. ||C'est à souligner, tout comme les minis viennoiseries.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la chambre Chapelle. Les jardins sont luxuriants et impressionnent dès le passage de la porte d'entrée. Le petit déjeuner servi dans un partie privative du jardin est un moment charmant. La décoration de notre chambre était étonnante en mêlant un mobilier liturgique et une vue magnifique par la verrière sur la végétation extérieure. Un bémol toutefois, la chambre laissait très peu de place pour circuler ou défaire ses valises. Au petit déjeuner très copieux en viennoiseries, il manquait des propositions salées (œufs, bacon, fromage, autre ?)
