On se sent comme chez soi, tout le confort est disponible.
Seul bémol, l'isolation phonique laisse indésirée. ???? j'entendais toute la conversation de mes voisins.
We’ve returned to stay at Citadines Opera again (probably for the 4th or 5th time) because the property holds a special place for me and my wife—this is where I proposed to her exactly five years ago.
However, this will be the last time we stay here from the poor experience and shocking level of service.
At check-in, the reception staff did not recognize the Platinum status, and we had to remind not to charge for the complimentary breakfast. No information on luggage storage was provided.
At check-out today, the two reception staff had no knowledge of our second booking or that we would be returning in two days. We were then told we couldn’t leave any luggage with the property because there was limited space available and the reception staff insisted that my request hadn’t been put up in advance and the policy requires "manager approval but the manager wasn’t around and wouldn’t respond today".
Additionally, this policy was printed in small print that was hardly noticeable, and it wasn’t communicated either by email, at check-in, or through any other means.
This was hopeless despite us pleading with the two reception staff for help with even one piece of luggage, as we were heading out of the city for a couple of nights and needed to travel lighter.
The level of service received was deeply disappointing, and the two reception staff did absolutely nothing to help.
Reception staff also insisted Citadines Opera is not a hotel and does not need to provide luggage storage to guests.
I have cancelled the second reservation and will not be returning.
What was once a place full of special memories has now been overshadowed by poor service management.
