Avis HOLIDAY INN Reims

Decent hotel in a great location in the center of Reims. It gets the job done if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel. The room was quite large. My feedback for a hotel is that it needs a fitness center so that guest can work out.

Hôtel correct, idéalement situé dans le centre de Reims. Il répond parfaitement aux attentes si vous cherchez un hôtel à un prix raisonnable. La chambre était assez grande. Mon avis sur l'hôtel est qu'il faudrait une salle de sport pour permettre aux clients de s'entraîner.

Accueil très désagréable : on nous informe qu’il n’y a pas de place en terrasse, mais après avoir commandé une bouteille de champagne, une place se libère « comme par hasard ». À la sortie, des remarques déplacées du gérant ont achevé de gâcher l’expérience.

A fantastic hotel, centrally located. The room is just enough for what you need. We enjoyed that the shower and wc were in two separate places, with doors. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning. We parked in the nearby parking garage just a minute walk from the hotel- and that was perfect. Very safe and secure. We had peace of mind our entire stay and would recommend this place to other families looking to stay in Reims.

Dommage que la barman ferme le bar 20min avant l’heure indiqué et qui prendre de haut…groupe qui commande 20 chambres…

Goed gelegen, net hotel met Rooftop bar en restaurant. Lekker ontbijt eveneens op bovenste verdieping met zicht. Propere kamers, grote tv, enz....

La literie était souillée (urine).
Reponse inadaptée du personnel.
Pas d'excuses ni de geste commercial.
Expérience déplorable.

The staff were offhand at best, I asked why only 2 of the six British tv channels were working whilst the other 40+ channels worked ok. No answer and didn’t appear to be concerned. The car park is tiny and if you need to used the underground part the lighting is very poor it’s cramped and the lift if impossible to operate without having to keep getting into and out of the car. When checking out it’s impossible to get your luggage to the lower garage in the lift as it is “only for staff personnel”. So had to haul heavy luggage down stairs into an unlit area and ended up nearly in the boiler room! The only plus was the breakfast was excellent, but it wouldn’t tempt me to stay there again.

Bon emplacement au cœur de Reims, à 2 pas de la place d’Erlon. Parking dans les parkings publics. Chambre correcte, sans plus. Restaurant au sommet avec vue sur les toits et vue partielle de la cathédrale. Hôtel situé en face d’une boîte de nuit.. préférez les chambres à l’arrière. Pour moi, prix excessif par rapport à la qualité.

We booked a queen bed premium with balcony. No wonder there aren’t any photos of the balcony on their website… this photo is the “balcony”. The room looked nothing like the photos either. It seemed generally clean but a pair of dirty boxer shorts in the wardrobe showing how much cleaning must actually go on between stays.

Also be aware that the car park has a height restriction, which our Discovery didn’t fit in. We were on a road trip with lots in the car, tried to explain that we needed a secure car park, do they know anywhere. Got recommended a car park where we literally saw people scouting around cars to break in! Thankfully found another secure one instead.

On the plus side, the views from the rooftop bar are brilliant.

Schönes Hotel in der Innenstadt von Reims. Guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Stadt.
Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf Notre Dame.

Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Es schläft sich sehr gut in dem Bett.

Die Preise sind meiner Meinung nach ein wenig zu hoch.
Das Frühstück ist für ein 4-Sterne Hotel auch verbesserungswürdig.
Das Rührei war kalt und der Speck wird im Topf matschig.
Die Auswahl an Aufschnitt ist ebenso überschaubar.

Une petite odeur dans les sanitaires de la chambre 611. Literie très confortable. Chambre spacieuse et cerise sur le gâteau un accueil exceptionnel de Michelle au petit déjeuner. Une personne pétillante, et souriante ça fait du bien d’être accueilli ainsi. Les lyonnais. Merci à elle ????

We travelled in the car and arrived mid afternoon on the Saturday, unfortunately the car park was full so we went up the road the shopping centre, which was also busy but we managed to find one of the last remaining spaces before it got full. Whilst a bit of a faff to get cases out an navigate an exit out of the shopping centre, it wasn’t hugely inconvenient. Had we not been able to park, then it probably would,be a different story, as it was extremely busy!|We checked in quickly and easily, with the reception staff polite and courteous. We had 2 rooms next to each other and as this was a present we booked the Queen with balcony rooms. The rooms were bright and modern, with vibrant colours and some quirkily lamps. One of our rooms was better than the other and seemed in good repair, the other had sockets hanging from the walls. The balcony wasn’t what I expected, as it was an outside space, probably wide enough for a couple of chairs, but they didn’t have any, which was a shame as it would have been possible, but was nice to have the door open when the sun was out.|The,rooftop bar/lounge on the 7th floor was lovely, especially in the sunshine and had good views over the city, the drinks were really reasonable in terms of price, which was a nice surprise for a hotel. It was disappointing that it wasn’t open on a Sunday, at the very least it would have been good to allow people to use the rooftop bar, even if you couldn’t get drinks, as it was a nice outside space for just sitting and chatting, or reading, but unfortunately it was all locked off.|Breakfast was included with our room, it was okay, most of the food was warm at best, bread and bakery items where regularly handled, not using tongs, by people and the kitchen staff, which we found extremely off putting. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a germ freak and appreciate in the bakery making process people will be touching the bread, but this seemed more excessive than I have witnessed before. To be fair it might be due to the very tight and cost eating area right next to the food and therefore you can’t help,but see it! The restaurant isn’t really that pleasant, it’s fairly crammed, we were a family of 4 and on the second morning 2 large tables for 6 were reserved and we weren’t allowed to sit there, however 2 couples sat on each and we emended up sitting on a big round table for 12, which was okay, just seemed odd. I don’t think breakfast is really worth the money in terms of quality and overall experience, however if you want something quick and easy to,start your day, then it would suffice as there is plenty of choice.|This hotel is in a good location and on our second day, when returning from our travels, we did get a parking space at the hotel, so,at least checking out with our bags was a lot easier.

A little noisy at night time, we found some dirty underpants left in the wardrobe, the TV wouldn't chrome cast. We paid for a premium room with balcony (I wouldn't have described as that if I'm being honest)
The roof top bar was nice but the menu was limited, the staff we're friendly as well, car parking height can be an issue if you have a Landrover or Range rover so please take that into consideration.

The hotel pictures sent are not reality. The rooms are not maintained or created equally. They smell of mold and mildew. In addition we had dirty towels on the floor to be replaced and instead they were folded back up and placed on the shelf as new. We knew this because my husband had a nose bleed and had a little blood on a towel. The rooms were so bad my friend changed hotels at great expense since his room was in much worse condition. We were told we could checkin at 3pm, we arrived after 4 and rooms were not ready. We were told cleaning had vacated our room to walk into the lady on the patio.

Nice, clean, good location. Nothing fancy, a bit worn.
Price a tad too high for the size and level of rooms, but staff very friendly.
Nice view from the seventh floor for breakfast or night cap drink in the bar.

Nous avons passé un week end de 3 jours à Reims dans cet hôtel.
L emplacement est idéal et le personnel d accueil très professionnel.
En revanche, nous n avons pas eu d eau chaude tous les matins dans notre chambre. Le pommeau de douche était cassé et l eau fuyait dans tous les sens. Enfin la salle de petit déjeuner est bien trop petite et mal organisée. Les clients passent au milieu des tables dans un espace très petite pour se servir au buffet. Cela donne un sentiment d oppression ce qui est bien dommage. Je ne pense pas que ce hôtel soit un 4 étoiles.

This was a nice, clean and very quiet hotel with an excellent location. It’s walking distance from the train station which was perfect for us, as we were taking the train from Paris. It’s also very easy to get around Reims from this spot. The rooftop bar/restaurant with a view of the cathedral was nice as well. |The staff was very nice and welcoming.

Très bien situé - à 2 pas du centre ville et de la cathédrale. Tout est très bien. Seul petit bémol pour notre appréciation des chambres : quelques petites retouches de peintures dans les chambres ne seraient pas superflues.
Terrasse/salle à manger pour le petit déjeuner au 7ème très agréable (vue sur le haut de la cathédrale) Sinon très calme.
Attention parking en sous sol accessible par un ascenseur pour voiture. Ne convient pas à de grosses cylindrées.

This is in reference to room 302: the only way to turn off the main lights is at the corridor, by the door. The room is too dark, so you need to turn on everything pointing up towards the white ceiling to get some decent illumination at night. The shower box isn't sealed and the whole bathroom takes a shower with you. The shower drain is clogged, so if you don't put towels where the box should be, the water invades the bathroom. At the restaurant, the waiters at the bar will keep talking to each other and never ask if you need something. You have to interrupt them to ask for something. They won't even look at you. It's like you don't exist right in front of them.

No air conditioning and it’s extremely warm, the receptionist was extremely unhelpful. When I asked why the air is not cooling I was told it’s still winter in France when it’s nearly 28 degrees in the suite which is there top room. Asked for parking I was told we are fully booked when there were spaces. I drove for eight hours with kids and booked holiday inn (not express) so I can get good sleep. She offered fan initially but than said sorry I couldn’t find one. Got on phone with complaints team and suddenly vola we have a fan.

Very poor service ice do not recommend staying here. I will take this further and update this review after speaking with IHG

Très satisfaits de notre séjour dans votre établissement. Nous n'avons rencontré que des personnes très professionnelles. Très bien reçus dès notre arrivée par 2 réceptionnistes très à l'écoute et disponibles : aussi bien pour l'accueil de jour et de nuit que pour le restorant.
Cependant, difficulté à utiliser le parking à tout moment.
Dommage, que ayons été obligés de changer de chambre pour la 2ème nuit

Het was een goede locatie met nette kamer en ontbijt was in orde en personeel vriendelijk en correct, alles was verzorgd en mini bar was ook aangevuld en de garage met parking was ook gemakkelijk, alles was op wandel afstand met de winkels en restaurants in de buurt en ook een leuke oester bar op de hoek van het straat.|Prijs kwaliteit was goed

We stayed at the Holiday Inn, Reims for two nights while exploring the city. The hotel was well appointed and the room itself was lovely, though a little warm. Unfortunately, we couldn’t open the window due to a nightclub (La Loge) directly opposite, which played loud music with outdoor seating until 5am – making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On our second morning, there was no hot water, which was inconvenient, though the reception staff were apologetic. The glass lift could also use a bit of a refresh. That said, the overall stay was pleasant and the hotel served as a good base for seeing Reims.

Extrêmement confortable et fonctionnel, à des prix compétitifs. Excellente solution pour visiter Reims et la Champagne

Très bon hôtel, bien situé accueil, personnel sympathique. Les chambres sont très propre et la literie est de premier choix. Peut-être une petite critique, le petit-déjeuner n' est pas à la hauteur du prix payer.

Il n'est ni agréable ni correct de trouver des pièces sans chauffage sans avertissement, même si l'on y a remédié avec des radiateurs électriques

Ah, merci au Holiday Inn pour cette belle expérience à Reims. Les chambres étaient bien entretenues et dotées de tout ce dont vous avez besoin (Nespresso aurait cependant été parfait). Ce qui ressort, c'est le service et l'emplacement. Un séjour sans souci à l'Holiday Inn Reims !
