The suites are nicely laid out, being on the end of the hall so very private. There are two bedrooms and two baths. One is a master suite the other has a bed with separate hall bath. The mattress was too firm and the bathroom could have been cleaned better, but overall with the room type and location we were happy with our stay.

Water coming out the tubs were brown, front desk clerk very rude.we were kicked out of our room at 12, being a platinum Elite member check out is at 4.SMH . Breakfast was cold and the host over breakfast rude also. Please hire new staff

This hotel is great. Prime shopping and dining all around, right off the highway. The rooms are clean, comfy and roomy. The staff is wonderful, very courteous and attentive.

My stay was very pleasant. The cleanliness and quality of my room was GREAT! Friendly and genuine staff assisted as needed. I did not enjoy Breakfast. They could offer better choices of food. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will stay again!

We were on a road trip from TX to the east coast. Thought we had a booked a place nearby but turns out it was the wrong location. We were travelling with a small dog and needed a dog friendly room for the night and TownePlace Suites had availability. It was safe, clean, and even had some water and popcorn in the room.

Don't forget anything; you won't get it back.
I forgot a high quality mousepad--something I bring with me to work on my laptop while traveling--and when I called later that very day I checked out, I was told housekeeping didn't turn anything in from my room. Somehow a 12x12 inch item got discarded by the staff.
It was a $30 item, not the biggest deal in the world, but it's the point that attention wasn't paid to holding onto an item that a guest left behind so that it could be returned to them. What if it had been something more valuable or important?
Everything else was just okay at best, except how strongly my sheets smelled like bleach. Mostly came away disappointed after I was informed that my personal item wasn't turned in; it didn't just disappear so I can only assume they threw it away or a housekeeper kept it for themselves.
Plenty of other options are in that area; I'll use one of them instead next time.

An excellent location for my family of six. An efficiency suitw feel with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a small kitchen, this was a really great place for my family of six during a sports tournament.

We were able to come home and relax and have a little snack from the fridge every evening and afternoon between events. I wish the morning breakfast had a larger variety and more hot foods available. It was mostly two hot items with heated packaged food, cereals and a granola bar. Very crowded space where the food is but the seating was plenty. My mattress felt like it had its day as it was very ‘springy’.

Perfectly placed in Gonzales around lots of shopping and food choices. Right off the highway with excellent access to Baton Rouge or New Orleans. I would absolutely choose this place again.

Marriott never seems to sway far from making you feel at home away from home. Room felt cozy and clean. Staff seems friendly as well.

The area is great! The hotel is decently priced and the rooms are what you'd expect. My issues lie with the staff. They are a NIGHTMARE. Housekeeping was amazing but front desk staff, and management and even the GM were lazy, visibly annoyed when being approached for service and rude. If the staff were changed the hotel would be great.
