Hôtel fonctionnel aux chambres un peu étroites mais propres à Chiessi, sur l'une des plus belles côtes de l'île d'Elbe.
Installé au cœur du petit village de Chiessi, cet établissement est une adresse bien fonctionnelle, avec des chambres un peu étroites, mais très propres, et bénéficiant d'un beau panorama. L'hôtel Aurora, ouvert depuis 1960 (tout de même !), et toujours géré par la famille Piacentini, est situé sur l'une des plus belles côtes de l'île d'Elbe, léchée par des eaux transparentes. En ce qui concerne la demi-pension, la cuisine proposée est savoureuse, elle mise sur des plats locaux, des produits de saison et en grande partie km 0.

If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax without crowds I would absolutely recommend to come to Hotel Aurora in the amazing Island of Elba.
The hotel is owned and run by a family and from the first time you arrive, you have a sense of being at home thanks to the incredible and welcoming hosts Giorgio and Venusia who are the best hosts that I met.
Giorgio was so helpful and kind with the guests and cares a lot about them and is always at disposal in case of asking for recommendations or advices.
For the breakfasts you can taste delicious homemade marmalade as well as homemade cakes and pastries.
The hotel is also just a few metres away from the town's beach with crystal clear water.
The room is really clean and tidy, and it's cleaned every day and also has air conditioning which is really helpful during hot summer days and the bed is also really comfortable.
If you are coming without a car and would like to visit other places on the island this hotel is also situated in a really nice place as the bus stop is just in front of the building.
I hope I will return to this incredible place.

Hotel Aurora is located in a small beautiful village of Chiessi. The host was very friendly. The room that we get (and ordered) was a little bit too small for 4 persons. There was a strange smell in the appartment, eventually from the air conditioning. The breakfast was good and there was a nice view from the hotel to the beach and the village. The stone beach was only 1min walk from the hotel. The worst thing was the search for a parking place every time. A very small supermarket was in the next village.

a due passi dal mare.
Ottima posizione per chi cerca un po' di relax, fuori dal caos.
Tutto molto fresco e pulito, le camere con aria condizionata, sono arredate con armadi e cassettiere.
Ripeto, complimenti per la pulizia.
Le colazioni sono sia salate che dolci servite a buffet con una bel tavolo imbadito.
Sono rimasta colpita dai prodotti locali come marmellate e miele dell'Elba.
Molto bello il terrazzo vista mare per la colazione.
