One of those rare pearls you once in a while but not too often find. A small restaurant (so make your reservations on time!) by the very friendly and professional chef, who also act as server and sommelier. The dishes are delicious and tasty. We’ll be back!

L’une de ces perles rares que l’on trouve de temps en temps, mais pas trop souvent. Un petit restaurant (alors réservez à l’avance !) dirigé par un chef très sympathique et professionnel, qui fait également office de serveur et de sommelier. Les plats sont délicieux et savoureux. Nous reviendrons !

A wonderful little restaurant. The ambiance, food and service were all excellent. Flavours and portion size were perfect. We have reserved again already for our next visit to Beaune.

Le chef Matthieu fait tout : il vous accueille, vous sert le vin, il se met ensuite en cuisine. Au choix deux menus, un bourguignon, un autre qui change chaque semaine. De jolis plats, bien préparés, service efficace et attentionné, de bons échanges avec le chef. Nous reviendrons, c’est certain

Acceuil très sympathique par ce cuisiner qui est à la fois en cuisine et en salle. Sa cuisine est généreuse et savoureuse. Une très bonne adresse qu'il faut penser à réserver à l'avance !

This was one of the best evenings we had during our holiday in France, not just the food, but the whole evening out. Having a seasonal menu in addition to the traditional one is great and we always appreciate local and seasonal ingredients. The service was very friendly and we appreciated the wine recommendations. Would recommend.

Amazing meal! Love the super-small space and it's an impressive one-man show. Both menus were amazing. Great flavours - the cauliflower soup was the best I've ever had. Wine was lovely. Highly, highly recommend a visit.

Très agréable moment et belle expérience culinaire!
Nous avons pris un menu versatile et un menu chauvin. Les deux étaient fabuleux!
Belle surprise avec le menu versatile ,végétarien cette fois, association de saveurs, de textures, de couleurs, toute en finesse. Le chef assure la cuisine et le service,
dans une ambiance intime et chaleureuse. Nous reviendrons lors d'une prochaine visite à Beaune, le menu versatile change toutes les semaines au gré des produits du marché!

Everything was fantastic! Super impressive one-man shop. It is hard to get a reservation, but well worth the wait. Service, food, wine were top notch. We went at lunch, and left very full.

A one man show for the front and back of the house and he couldn’t not have been more hospitable or talented. One dish was better than the next. Do not miss the opportunity to experience authentic and creative Burgundian comfort food at this very quaint restaurant.

Wir haben extra eine Übernachtung in Beaune eingeplant, um im Soul Kitchen zu essen. Es war unser zweiter Besuch, und wir waren wieder begeistert. Essen, Service und Ambiente einfach ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Wir kommen auf der nächsten Frankreichreise wieder.

De setting was goed. Een klein (maximaal 15 personen) gezellig restaurant waar de kok alles zelf doet (ontvangst - eten klaarmaken - bediening - sommelier - ...). So far so good. We konden kiezen uit 2 menu's van eur 32. Eentje was een vast menu, het andere veranderde wekelijks. Mijn vrouw en ik namen elk een ander menu zodat we konden uitwisselen. Het ging om een voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht en een dessert. Het was allemaal wel lekker maar echt heel zwaar. Ondanks het feit dat het volume van de gerechten niet zo groot waren, zaten we allebei na het hoofdgerecht helemaal dik. Dit was niet normaal. Het dessert hebben we slechts gedeeltelijk op gekregen. En eigenlijk zijn we met een slecht gevoel (letterlijk en figuurlijk) naar het hotel gewandeld. Voor ons helaas geen tweede keer.

Peu de couverts, « patron » navigant entre la cuisine ouverte et la salle, très accueillant et de bon conseil sur les vins.
