Ein 5 Sterne Resort, mehr geht nicht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, alle Mitarbeiter waren aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, wir waren im Paradies. Unser bester Urlaub, den wir bis jetzt erlebt haben. Alles sehr sauber.

I got to visit the Ruins of Balaclava many times and I must say that Maritim Resort & Spa has surpassed itself in the renovation and maintenance of this place. It's a must-visit!
Such a serene and peaceful atmosphere... oh-so-gorgeous!
I have absolutely no words to describe the beauty of this heritage. More than the hotel experience itself, a simple visit of the ruins is what won me over. The hotel has done a fantastic work!

Es ist eine traumhafte Anlage direkt am Meer, trotz ausgebuchtem Hotel war es am Strand oder Meer nie überlaufen: Ruhe pur...diesen Urlaub werden wir nie vergessen und ist kaum zu toppen.!

Very beautiful place. The unfortunate thing is that the neighbour outside is no so lively. You will need a taxi to get to a busier area like Grand Baie with an active night life.

Sind gerade vor Ort.Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und ein geräumiges Bad mit freistehender Badewanne. Eine kleine schöne Gartenterasse uns fehlts an nichts. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam . Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und auch bei Regen gibt es viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Die SPA Angebote sind super. Der Strand ist ebenfalls sehr sauber und auch dort findet man nur freundliches Personal.
Die gebuchte Angeltour war spitze...alles in allem einfach nur zum Empfehlen.

Chambre confortable mais service très très insuffisant pour un 5 ⭐️. Le personnel n’est pas formé à l’hôtellerie, toute demande leurs semble une montagne! Le buffet est catastrophique et les alcools de très médiocre qualité! Il y’a des hôtels de bien meilleure qualité et bien moins chers!

Soirée de "Gala" avec des mets/vin/ champagne de faible qualité.
Le poulet était très bon par contre ! Les limbs également

Nous sommes vraiment désolés de lire que votre expérience dans notre hôtel n'a pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes.
En ce qui concerne la nourriture du buffet, nous organisons chaque jour une soirée à thème différente. En outre, un écran numérique placé à l'entrée du restaurant principal permet aux clients de connaître le thème de la soirée.
Pour les forfaits tout compris, les clients reçoivent un livret de bienvenue à leur arrivée pour qu'ils sachent à quoi ils ont droit en fonction du forfait qu'ils ont choisi. Si le client souhaite profiter de quelque chose qui n'est pas inclus dans son forfait, il devra payer un supplément, ce qui est normal dans tous les hôtels du monde.
Comme vous devez le savoir, les industries hôtelières de l'île Maurice et du monde entier sont confrontées à un véritable défi, celui de trouver des travailleurs qualifiés de la nouvelle génération. Actuellement, des personnes originaires d'Inde, d'Afrique et de Madagascar viennent renforcer la main-d'œuvre locale. Une formation complète est en cours et nos clients nous font part de leurs excellents commentaires.

A charming hotel on a beautiful property. However, the continuous and repetitive music in the breakfast restaurant and beachside seafood restaurant is truly a challenge; every 3 minutes, the same tunes start over. It must be agonizing for the staff working there. Fortunately, as a hotel guest, you can escape this constant musical background after 1-2 hours without significant harm.

Wir waren im September in der wunderschönen Hotelanlage. Wir hatten von unserem Zimmer aus einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und haben von dort die fantastischen Sonnenuntergänge erleben dürfen. Der Sandstrand war wunderbar, das Meer herrlich. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen.
Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren stets freundlich und sehr bemüht. Auch beim Service in den Restaurants und Bars hat alles gestimmt, vor allem der Barkeeper Neetin kreierte uns den ein oder anderen hervorragenden Cocktail.
Die weitläufige Anlage bietet den Gästen viele interessante Möglichkeiten, wie Bogenschießen, Minigolf, Spaziergänge, aber auch tolle Wassersportmöglichkeiten, wie Kajak und Tretboot fahren. Beeindruckend waren auch die großen Schildkröten. Wir waren absolut begeistert und können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Hôtel agréable et chambre confortable. Le complexe offre de belles prestations, belle plage avec possibilité d activités nautiques, piscines, ballades, golf, tennis,… tout est fait pour passer un bon moment. Le personnel est gentil et souriant.

We didn't stay at the maritim hotel, my husband and I went horse riding ,at the maritim stables, down to and along the beach the horse's are so well cared for and so well behaved, we loved every minute of it and it wasn't to expensive about 20pound each, we also went and did golf there ,the staff were very helpful and friendly to us even though we were not staying there.

My Sister was there for her wedding, she and her guests spent tens of thousands between them, they have had food poisoning, didn't get the full wedding package they paid for. The staff do not care, they've been paid. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Pro:
Schöner gepflegter Strand mit ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen.
Das Zimmer war riesig, schöner Ausblick ins Grüne und ins Meer.
Sehr schöne aber auch weitläufige Anlage und viel Angebote für Unternehmungen (kostenfrei). Das kleine Gym reicht für ein paar Urlaubs Trainingseinheiten gerade so aus.
Die Tauchschule war super!
Es gibt viele Katzen und Hunde aber keine aufdringlichen oder böswilligen (Ich habe eher Respekt vor Hunden).
Contra:
Service ist teilweise nicht so gut. Gerade an der Rezeption fehlen manchen (nicht allen!) die notwendigen Englisch Kenntnisse und die Hilfsbereitschaft die man bei einem 5* Hotel unserer Meinung nach erwarten kann.
Zimmerreinigung kann auch gerne mal die Ecken reinigen und nicht nur den Boden wischen.
Das Essen ist gut aber eher Masse statt Klasse. Teilweise gibt es einzelne Gerichte die super waren, diese findet man eher in den immer aus gebuchten A La Carte Restaurants. Hier würde ein anderes faires System zur Tischvergabe helfen!

Concerning the service, as you must be aware hotel industry in Mauritius and around the world are facing a real challenge to find new generation skilled workers. We have currently people from India, Africa and Madagascar supporting the local manpower. Full training is ongoing and we do have great feedback from our guests.
We have analysed your comments and that housekeeping has been informed accordingly. The Head of Department is himself ensuring that this situation does not happen again in the future.
Coming to the Reception, we taken good note of your comment, rest assured there is now an ongoing on-the-job training for the staffs.
For our à-la-carte restaurants, it is mandatory to pre-reserve due to a limited seating capacity. Your constructive comments shall be shared with the department concerned, which will act an added inspiration to maintain the high standards and help us to serve you better during your next visit to the resort.

Wir haben einen der schönsten Urlaube Mitte September 2023 unseres Lebens im Maritim Resort & Spa verbracht. Vielen lieben Dank an alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels.Wir haben uns jederzeit sehr willkommen gefühlt. Eigentlich müsste man jeden einzelnen Namen nennen. Damit die Bewertung nicht ausufert, geht ein besonderer Dank an dieser Stelle stellvertretend für alle an Henning dafür, dass sie unseren Aufenthalt so unvergesslich gemacht haben. Er hat sich immer sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit mit seinen Kollegen um die Gäste gekümmert und hat als Bindeglied zwischen Einheimischen und Gästen ein aussergewöhliches gutes Händchen. Er hat sich einfach auch die Zeit genommen und Fragen ausfühlich zu beantworten. Vielen Dank.

Das Buffet im war sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen riesig und ließ keine Wünsche übrig. Wer hier nichts findet, hat immer etwas zu meckern. Die zusätzlichen Spezialitäten Restaurants sind alle sehr zu anzuraten, das Essen köstlich. Auch das Lunchpaket, das uns zu einem Ausflug mitgegeben wurde, war lecker und üppig. Der Strandbereich ist einfach klasse und sehr gepflegt. Liegen gibt es ausreichend, der Service am Strand ist top.
Wir können das Maritim Resort von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen. Wir waren nicht das letzte mal bei euch. Viele liebe Grüße von den vier Hamburgern.

Wir haben vier Tage unserer Flitterwochen hier verbracht. Das Maritim sollte dabei eins der Highlights werden, nach drei von insgesamt vier Hotels, gefielen uns die anderen Hotels allerdings besser.
Positiv:
- Alle Touren des Bootshauses (!!!), wir konnten Wale beobachten, Delfine und Riesenschildkröten. Zu empfehlen ist besonders die private Speedboattour, welche wir zweimal gebucht haben. Die Kapitäne waren super und haben uns an die Wale, Delfine und Schildkröten geführt und wussten genau was sie tun.
Auch haben Personen, welche Whale Watching gebucht haben und dann keine Wale sehen konnten, ihr Geld zurück bekommen.
- die Anlage ist sehr groß und schön angelegt, allerdings auch ein bisschen klassischer Strandbunker. Die Bilder täuschen da geschickt drüber hinweg. Allerdings meekt man dies auch in der Anlage nicht, weswegen die schöne Natur, die Ruinen und die Animal Farm die Anlage auf jedenfall zu etwas besonderem machen.
- Das Essen am Buffet und auch in den Restaurants war in der Regel sehr gut
- Das Aktivitätsangebot ist sehr umfangreich.
- Die Anlagen und Pools sind meist gepflegt und sauber
- Obwohl wir nicht die Mindestanzahl an Tagen für das Honeymoon-Paket gebucht haben, haben wir trotzdem ein Candle-Light Dinner sowie ein Frühstück geschenkt bekommen.
- Der Service am Strand war gut, auch die Cocktails haben hier einigermaßen geschmeckt.
- Die Rezeption war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Negativ:
- Der Service in den Restaurants war durchwachsen, mal sehr positiv, mal auch sehr schlecht. Durchschnittlich war es okay.
- Der Service an der Hauptbar war durchgehend schlecht. Sehr lange Wartezeiten, falls überhaupt mal ein Kellner zum Pool gegangen ist. Mit 4-6 Kellnern 30 Tische zu versorgen sollte eigentlich kein Problem sein, hat hier so gut wie nie funktioniert.
- Die Getränke an der Hauptbar, vor allem Cocktails waren sehr schlecht gemischt und absolut Minderwertig. Schlechter Alkohol, schlechter Sirup, verwässert. Wenn ich für die Cocktails hätte zahlen müssen, wäre ich sehr sauer gewesen.
- Die Damen und Herren beim Handtuchservice, wo man auch Aktivitäten wie Minigolf oder Bogenschießen bucht, haben uns nicht auf veränderte Veranstaltungsorte hingewiesen (die Karten der Anlage sind veraltet, die Orte stimmen teilweise nicht mehr) und haben uns bei einer Veranstaltung versetzt. Auf unsere Nachfrage wo man gewesen sei, wurde fest behauptet man hätte auf uns gewartet, der Reaktion der anderen Mitarbeiter nach zu urteilen, war diesen diese Lüge bewusst.
- vegetarisches Essen: obwohl wir sowohl beim check-in als auch bei der Reservierung der Restaurants darauf hingewiesen haben, dass meine Frau vegetarisch isst und uns versichert wurde, dass dies in allen Restaurants, auch beim BBQ, gar kein Problem sei. Beim BBQ wartete dann auf meine Frau der Beilagensalat (einzelne, nicht alle), sowie Potatoe Wedges und Reis. Die Dame am Pizzaofen bereitete ihr dann noch spontan eine Gemüsepizza zu, trotzdem erwarte ich von einem BBQ das auch vegetariern empfohlen wird, mehr als das. In allen weiteren Restaurants, wurden uns ebenfalls nur fleischlastige Menüs angeboten, die Info dass meine Frau vegetarisch isst wurde nicht weiter gegeben. Hier wurde allerdings mehr oder weniger gut reagiert.
Insgesamt hatten wir trotzdem eine schöne Zeit, die 5 Sterne des Hotels sind aber einfach nicht verdient und für ein Luxushotel, was das Maritim wohl gerne sein möchte, ist der Service deutlich zu schlecht. Hier verschenkt man viel Potential.

Pokoje czyste. Apartamenty są w pewnej odległości od głównego budynku, restauracji I recepcji. Można przejść spacerem lub zamówić przewóz elektrycznymi wygodnymi samochodzikami (jak nasz Melex, ale większy dla 6 osób). Hotel zajmuje bardzo duży teren parkowy z boiskami tenisowymi, mini golfem, stajnią koni, żółwiami, ruinami murów obronnych, zamkiem (restauracja, ale tylko oddzielnie płatna i dość drogą. Należy też mieć strój wieczorowy). Koło apartamentów jest oddzielny basen, przy hotelu głównym nasen i plaża nad oceanem. Serwowane posiłki smaczne z miejscowymi akcentami. Duży wybór posiłków. Owoce, sałatki, surówki i ciasta.
Obsługa życzliwa, profesjonalna.
Hotel jest na uboczu od miast, sklepów. W hotelu można zamówić taksówkę hotelową. Jazda do Port Louis z 2 godzinnym oczekiwaniem kierowcy w obie strony to kwota 220zł., podobnie do Triolet. Byliśmy w Triolet, w okresie świąt Diwali (Święto Światła). Niezapomniany widok ì przeżycia.
