Mit meinem Schulfranzösisch (begrenzte Kenntnisse offensichtlich) fragte ich nach einem Tisch. Die Speisekarte brachte man mir in dann nat. in Landessprache. Den Spezialwortschatz dafür habe ich nicht. Die junge Kellnerin versuchte nicht mal im Ansatz mir zu helfen. Es gibt die Speiserkarte nämlich auch auf Englisch und sogar Deutsch! Bekommen habe ich diese natürlich nicht.
Zum Essen:
- Lachs sehr gut
- Steak von guter Qualität aber nicht gebraten wie bestellt
- Beilagensalat wurde nie gebracht stand aber natürlich auf der Rechnung
Wenn man dann am Ende reklamiert, dann verstehen sie einen plötzlich - in jeder Sprache.

I want just add something after reading your answer.
I was speaking with the waiter in French and it wasn't language barrier.
The waiter was rude with me.
I am not used to give bad reviews.
But I am telling just what happened that day.
I was just waiting for you to apologise and not to find excuses to justify the bad behaviour of the waiter against us.
Even he made a mistake in the bill and add 2 euro.
Top accueil. Réservé pour deux et finalement nous étions trois. L’équipe a trouvé la solution.

All joke aside, I don’t think the service is slow. I got my menu at 12:59, received snails and bread at 13:16, and finally the Choucroute arrived at 13:18, the speed is just reasonable.
Moreover, people there speak fluent English and they welcome Asian customer. It’s lucky to have lunch here without making a preservation beforehand (actually you are SUGGESTED to do so!). All the restaurant in Colmar at lunchtime is busy so I would say it’s a gift to visit here.

筆者（台灣人）第一次訪問科爾瑪，說真的我沒有想到在這個小鎮吃飯這麼難，因為我在到Zinc之前連續碰壁三家店（理由都是這個餐期沒有座位），輾轉來到這家店。
一切都是奇蹟，首先不但0等待地幸運入座，還如願吃到了很開心的醃酸菜香腸盤+烤蝸牛。烤蝸牛的羅勒奶油沾麵包白色的地方很好吃，肉盤超級飽足，筆者是高運動量的男生仍然覺得吃極飽哈哈哈。我拿娃娃出來拍照的時候，服務員叔叔很可愛的喊說Wow so cute！還問我說你來自哪裡，一邊熱情的給了我很好吃的第二籃麵包。
其他評論有說很粗魯跟很慢，我個人兩個都沒有遇到，印象比較深刻的是有一個黑人服務生的法文說的比較用力跟遛，但是我不覺得會粗魯，我反而覺得他很chill跟好玩，而且還會跟客人哈拉，我覺得餐廳裡面大家都超忙但是還是很熱情跟有禮貌。
筆者用餐的今天其實是耶穌升天節，大家都出去玩，所以在觀光客湧入的今天能夠有這麼好的午餐體驗，再提一次，真是奇蹟。
價格部分烤蝸牛六顆11歐+肉肉盤21歐，補充的麵包跟tap water不加價（不像瑞士），也不會跟你要小費。
世界上餐廳這麼多，在科爾瑪寫中文評論的人這麼少，如果你剛好看到這裡，那表示我們算有緣分———聽我一句，去Zinc吃飯吧❤️，祝你開心及順遂。

5 étoiles sans hésitation, surtout grâce au Monsieur qui s'est occupé de nous qui à la base n'est pas serveur, et bien j'ai rarement vu quelqu'un d'aussi professionnel. Du début à la fin un grand sourire contagieux alors qu'on était une grande table de +/-15 personnes ! Merci à vous !
Et pour les tarifs, c'est correct pour Colmar, l'emplacement du restaurant et si on compare avec les concurrents.
Cuisine variée et excellente (malgré une tête de veau un peu salée mais reconnu de bonne foi par le patron, adoucie par un petit digestif....)
Bravo à Damien pour son professionnalisme et son sourire, ne pas rater le café très gourmand
