It was kind of disappointing. Not the best service and one of the day the closed the breakfast 30 minutes early.

They didn't met expectations!

Location kind of a drive from downtown Baton Rouge .. The rooms had a musty smell and the carpet is a little outdated.. The suite was big , but bathroom small. I called to get towels and they asked me to come downstairs and get them. Maybe service is dead. RIP also there were stains on the comforters, carpets, and the furniture looked old and had tears in it.. The other room we had for our daughter and grand baby was not clean. The tub was dirty the shower curtain dirty , pubic hairs on the toilet and the sheets were stained and they had a foul odor!

We stayed at this hotel due to a conference. This place needs a major update to the drywall and tile. It is falling apart in different spots. I'm used to most Embassy's having a newer look. This one needs major work. There was no maid service to fix up our room. I had to request towels numerous times until someone finally came at 4 pm to bring up towels in a small trash bag. The next day, the bed was halfway made, and they took all but two of the hand towels away. By then, I had enough and checked out a day early. Please fix the issues with this place!

The lobby and atrium make a great first impression. Unfortunately, I'm here for a comfortable room. While the atrium design is pretty, it means every sound from the lobby, restaurant, and pool makes it up to every room. When I walked into my room, I was hit with a musky, moldy smell. I realize I could've asked for a different room, but I was exhausted after a long trip and chose to deal with the smell. The bathroom is unusually tight for a Hilton, let alone a suite. In order to close the door, I have to tuck in between the toilet and shower. The shower is inaccessible with the door open. For some reason there are three sinks throughout the room, but the bathroom is tiny. My mini fridge was iced over, but I guess works well enough to keep drinks chilled. To my horror, there was a cockroach on the fridge door when I woke in the morning. The bed is comfortable and thankfully there is a door to add a layer of sound blocking from the lobby 5 stories below. There is no vent fan for the bathroom, which may be why the room smells moldy, There was no "do not disturb" hanger for my door, so assumed they don't clean unless you request or check out, but room service did come in. Overall, it's fine and not disgusting, but for a work trip where I need peace and comfort, I will choose a different location in the future. I don't think this location lives up to the standards of other Embassy hotels I've stayed in. It's clearly an older building and the location is convenient to the interstate. I was put off by the $7/night charge for parking, even though it's a standard, open parking lot, and not valet. I would almost rather they increase the price of the rooms by $7 and not make me feel like I'm being nickel-and-dimed.

It was a disappointment, the worst Embassy Suites we've stayed at as far as the suites go. The staff at the front desk at check in was very good. Specially Cameron & Eugleena. But the hotel itself in areas, especially the rooms, need serious attention. Definitely not at Hilton standards, they should send an Auditor to check it out because it's been neglected. We had to change rooms, the first suite felt dingy and with a strong musty smell, tiny bathroom and the floor was extremely slippery, who knows what from. It felt like soap had been applied but not washed off . Overall not a pleasant or relaxing experience in that first room. Cameron quickly gave us a different room, which was slightly better, a bit brighter with a touch more light, but still a mustiness in the air. Doesn't feel healthy. The bathroom has a flimsy, sub-standard cheap (plywood?) door that doesn't close properly, and two holes in the wall. The furniture is antiquated; everything needs serious renovation to bring the overall experience up to Embassy Suite standards. They have an evening "reception" 5:30 to 7pm but far from what they offered before, now its a bag of chips, wine, beer & maybe rail drinks. The breakfast buffet is ok-ish; they do have an omelette station and on demand egg cooking that's pretty good. Needless to say we will not return there again and Corporate Hilton needs to wake up and take a good look at it. Weary travellers need to feel rested at the end of a long day, and everyone should feel they are getting value for their hard-earned money. $135 a night may seem fair, but only if the standards meet expectations. The front door didn't close properly and on check out day, despite having a do not disturb sign on and telling the house keeper next door that we would depart in approximately half an hour (and well before official check-out time), I took some things to the car, and upon returning I found the door open. Somebody had come in and left it wedged open, maybe they were in a hurry? Not a pleasant feeling.

This is the roughest Embassy Suites I have ever stayed in. Usually, when traveling, picking an Embassy Suites is a safe bet. Not this one.
Road onstruction makes it very difficult to even access. Takes forever to get in and out of there.
The staff was the lone bright spot. Hard working and helped as much as they could.
The rooms are old. I stayed when it was cold out ( high 40's at night). My room (801) had no heat and a 1 inch gap under the door. So the cold air blew in under the door all night. I ended up having to stuff towels under the door and then use the hair dryer to try and warm up the room. My room had no note pads/ no soap/ and one lamp didn't work. I had maintenance come up but couldn't fix any issues.
They were able to move me to a different room on the 2nd and 3rd night. Which was much better but still old & and outdated.

Definitely does not hold up to the Hilton standard. We first checked in using our digital key but then requested a new room after our original room had an odor, insufficient towels and the shower was clogged. Switching rooms was easy. New room was decent. Breakfast at this location sucks! Not a whole variety of food provided like other embassy locations. Overall, left feeling unimpressed and will definitely not be back.

Friendly staff, hotel getting old. Slow elevators, sometimes 1 of the 2 is broken, using stairs is not an option, because they do not exit on first floor, just to outside.

As a Hilton Diamond member, I expect a lot more from Embassy Suites. No tissues, no extra toilet paper, small bathroom, no bottles of water, no acknowledgement upon check in. Manager's nightly special doesn't include snacks. Self parking on surface lot is $7/night.

The morning front desk agent was very welcoming. Marie The evening agent need to take some customer skills classes. First of all she had a mean look on her face as if she didn't want to be bothered. When we asked her questions she answered as if we were getting on her nerves. The room we stayed in was very nice, however, the bathroom didn't have toilet paper and towels. They should get the plumbing fix. We had to flush the toilet so many times for the contents to go down.

When booking my stay, I was very concerned with the reviews others had left. Let me say that everything was great. If you are expecting a room at the Ritz Carton for a motel 6 price, then keep looking. I can say the room was clean, they are large, and the bed was so comfortable. The only negative would be that I wish the bathroom was a little larger, but not a deal breaker. The evening reception was great and the breakfast is amazing. I stayed on a Saturday and the hotel was full of baseball and softball teams. The staff worked hard to ensure everything went well for everyone. Dont let the reviews scare you, this place is nice.

Well. Customer service did not direct us in which way to our room. There were 2 elevators on each side of the hotel, and we just chose one to get on. Luckily, the one we chose, our room was on that side. Also, we had to go to the other elevators anyway because one on the side we resided on was broken, and it literally took 15 min for it to get to us. The next time we just went to the other side of the hotel being it was people waiting, and it was super slow. Once we settled in for the night in the room, I went to take a shower, and there was long hair all over the shower wall, the floor, and the back of the bathroom door. This shows me housekeeping is not great at all and is half cleaning these rooms. I was kind of iffy about getting into bed (Are the sheets clean?). Anyway, the hair in the shower was awful. Also, the walls are so thin, while in bed, I can hear the person in the next room on each side of us, taking a shower and actually using the toilet in the bathrooms. I'm not a very heavy sleeper. Therefore, I could hear every time someone was in there. The plumbing also is not great at all. We had breakfast at the buffet. The buffet station was not wiped off from food drippings. So I only got bacon from there. However, the omlette station was AWESOME. The cook at the Omelet station was very nice and pleasant. He also kept his station clean while cooking. So yall might want to keep him there. I wish I had gotten his name. We checked out today so yall will know who he is that worked. Considering this is a luxury hotel, I would have expected better quality. The location is good, close to stores and dining.

Hospitality is this Embassy Suites specialty. From the front desk to room service and service personnel all around, this hotel excels where so many these days fail. Every aspect of my stay was pleasant and relaxing. Professionally staffed throughout. Rooms were clean and sanitary. Room service food is excellent and welcomed after a long day of travel. Rooms are quiet and the location is convenient to the interstate.

This hotel fraudulently charged my card saying I went to the restaurant, gift shop, and bar area and all I did was sleep and eat the free breakfast. I called to dispute on 2/12/2024 at 6:30pm and the manager Althea I believe that was her name, she would not assist me and did not refund what was stolen off my card. The staff stole my card information from check in and made fraudulent charges.
